We stayed there for one night and was very happy. I used my diamond reward points so that was a plus. We stayed on the 13th floor with a great view of the Capitol. The hotel has a gothic feel and it is beautiful. Rooms are modern and beds comfortable. We got a $15 credit for dining and went into Jacobs restaurant for breakfast. They had a nice buffet for $20 but I went for the standard breakfast for $15 and it was a huge portion. We walked to Proof brewery from the hotel. I wish we would of visited the roof top bar but maybe in our next stay. Highly recommend. Friendly staff too!

Checking in here for 1 night I picked this place because of the location and being a little away from the schools. The parking garage is very easy to get in and out of and the check-in person was very courteous and gave me the keys to my room within a few minutes. I stayed on the 14th floor and don't know if all the hallways are like this but they are very gothic style and dark with dark wood doorframes around each door. The rooms were recently renovated you can tell and are true to the pictures with the light colors in the rooms. The bathroom is a little small but the water pressure and hot water were plentiful. The location you cannot beat at all.

Tallahassee Doubletree conveniently located in downtown, close to the Florida State Capital and courthouses. Parking garage located under the hotel, self-parking is $15/night.

Rooms on south side face the Florida State Capitol building, although there is another building that blocks some of the view.

16th floor bar (Eve & Adams) which also serves as breakfast location gives a great view.

Our south facing room was a little noisy in the morning, especially due to construction happening near the Capitol.

The noise level in this hotel is unacceptable. The pipes rattled all day long, the toilet kept running, had to jiggle the lever. They biggest problem were the pipes making noises. It was alarming how loud it was, felt like the walls were shaking. It was impossible to sleep with that awful noise. The walls are paper thin, you could hear people walking upstairs and in the halls, you could hear noise and music on the streets all night long.

The decor is gaudy, ostentatious and tasteless. Completely outdated and in need of refreshing. It looks like it has not been renovated in a very long time. There was dirt and rust in all the corners of the bathroom.

Staff was rude. We had someone from the hotel bang at our door at almost midnight and said there had been a complaint of a funny smell. Our lights were off, we were in bed no TV on trying to fall asleep and this employee did not even apologized for knocking at that time. We obviously were not smoking and the smell was not coming from our room. There are 3 other adjacent rooms, it could have easily be coming from them, they were making noise and had the TV loud. The hotel still billed us an extra $100 charge for smoking when we obviously were not and the employee saw we were in bed when they knocked. I had to call the manager to get this taken off. I am still waiting for my refund.

I reached out to customer service to complain and the hotel never called to apologize or try to fix the toilet or even offer another room. This hotel is a joke. Definitely my biggest complaint was the rattling pipes you could hear all night... no one can sleep under these conditions. This is not a cheap hotel. For $200 a night they should be able to fix the plumbing and update the decor.

First thing, I have been told there is no airport shuttle, but i saw the shuttle and people were using it.

1- First morning I used the coffee machine to have some coffee before going out for my meetings. It tasted weird but i though because of the aroma of the coffee. When i got the second cup i could not even drink, it tasted like shampoo/ detergent. I opened the reservoir of the machine and i overwhelmed from the detergent smell. somebody was poured detergent/ shampoo in it. I got sick 2 days and couldn't even move from bed, i had to go restroom constantly. I was in town for business but it the sickness I got from coffee affected my job. I told this to hotel management and they replace the coffee maker but it was too little too late.
2- When i first got in to the room, i noticed it has been not cleaned. there was a big piece of used toilet paper on the carpet next to the bed. It was not new, it has been there for a long time i can tell from its shape and look. Also the bed sheet was not clean. there were coins and keys on the floor. I told this to the management.
3- The tv ( cable) was not working at all. you watch something 5 min and then "no signal" for rest of the night. Even the TV system automatically charged me watching movies which the hotel itself confirmed i did not.

Earlier in the evening, there were many young college kids who were rowdy while we were waiting for the valet to bring our car. We have stayed here before but this time from 12pm to 3 pm (until I finally called the front desk) there were young college kids drunk and loud in my hallway partying. Then at 10 am with my do not disturb sign on the housekeeping knocked on my door woke me up and said "are you checking out?" are you kidding me? isn't check out at 11? Next time I will pay the extra money to stay at a hotel that is quiet and lets their guest have a good night's sleep.

Stayed here overnight, I admit I'm taking (and love) the lower $78 a night for rooms that run an average of $120 even higher during football season and legislative session. The more recent refurbish is very lovely, repainted walls and new decorative tone. Nice high roofed lobby. Located in a very lovely park of Tallahassee (trees are year round decorated with lights at night).

Staff were excellent and made sure things like hand sanitizer were full and available, I even got complimentary parking!

DoubleTree is the common place where touring musicians and other big names often stay at when in town, I now see why! Look forward to staying again, if the price is right ;)

Very pretty hotel and nice people .

Rooftop is very pretty.
The two male bartenders inside are very nice , it was early so it was dead inside.
The female bartender outside , was very young , did not seem experienced.
She was on her phone a lot and was eating behind the bar.
She did not seem attentive, she could make a lot more money if she went out and asked people if they wanted a drink .

FOOD ROOFTOP
ok so you have a nice view but they need a better menu
Fish Dip is over priced at $14.00 with fried hard pita, cucumbers and carrots
club crackers would have been better than the pitas.

Chef get creative

I loved that this hotel was very clean! Hand sanitizer was everywhere including the elevator bank. Even the remote control had a sign wrapped around it saying it had been sanitized between guests. The hotel has about 16 floors but only three elevators so we had to wait a while in the morning. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, but you can't charge it to your room. Outside there was available street parking that was free until 8 am. The hotel is undergoing renovation on the lower floors and I don't think the rooftop restaurant Eve on Adams was open. However, it's a great location and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice clean hotel with good service. The general manager Mike was helpful in arranging for us to extend our stay without changing rooms at a time when they were full due to FSU graduation. The rooms can be noisy as it is close to restaurants that can live music outside and a busy street. They charge $15 for parking which is ridiculous for a location that is not gated and does not have security. The pool faces the parking lot. They should surround the fence with plants or shrubs.

I don't believe so, but it is a short 15 min drive, very easy to Taxi, Uber, or Lyft there, you can probably have them assist with those arrangements.
