The setting for this suite hotel was amazing! Back patio is situated on a pretty little lake. The evening we were there, several family and work groups were grilling and eating out on the patio - lots of laughter and light conversation. The hotel was very clean, and access back to Interstate 10 was easy.

We enjoyed our stay in our one-bedroom suite. The living area was VERY spacious, though you do have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. The free breakfast was nice. You have to put on gloves, but you can make your own waffle and serve yourself some hot oatmeal, among other choices. The grounds are charming, with a lake in the back. There is also a small pool and a basketball court on site. The front desk folks were nice and welcoming, and our room was ready as promised (I called ahead).
I won't call it secluded, but you are not near downtown. However, you are right off the interstate, so you can be in Tallahassee shortly. The hotel is very close to an antique car museum, gas stations, and a Waffle House. By the way, almost everyone you talk to is going to recommend the Backwoods Crossing restaurant, which is less than five minutes from the hotel. Listen to them.
If we're being picky, housekeeping forgot to empty the freezer from the previous guests. They also ran out of little dish soap bottles, so we had to make do with a paper cup filled with liquid soap for cleanup. If these are the worst issues you have at a hotel, you're doing just fine.

We stayed at this hotel twice within a ~2 week period on long road trips during COVID. This hotel was very clean, the staff seemed very precautious (were wearing masks, had plexiglass shield up at front desk, etc). I really was impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the facilities overall. It was very quiet, peaceful, and we felt like we were the only people on the property (this wasn't true, given the cars in the parking lot, but that's how it seemed). We didn't spend any time in the swimming pool or at the pond in the back but they looked beautiful and inviting.
Because of COVID, they only had boxes of cereal and cartons of milk out for breakfast, not the normal for Staybridge, but I understand the constraints right now.
We highly recommend this hotel and will stay here anytime we are stopping over in Tallahassee.

This was a great hotel. Very clean and the staff is very nice. Our suite was clean and spacious. The social hour and hot breakfast were great. It was well worth the $50 pet fee because the location was a great place to walk our dog.

This place has so much potential!
This place could be so nice with some changes.
First the Pro’s
1) really pretty grounds with a lake and dock
2) lobby, breakfast and bar area very nice
3) staff a little helpful
Con’s
1) not clean enough any day of a 5 day stay
2) needs updating - tired decor and furniture
3) Don’t replenish any thing in rooms nightly (5)
4) Toilet keep clogging up
5) floors never swept or mopped my whole stay
I hope they address housekeeping because this hotel could be wonderful.

We checked in Thursday sept 28 late around 11 pm. The woman at the desk was not friendly at all. I booked a room that had a queen bed and a pull out couch. I called two days before just to make sure that all couches were pull outs and she said just let them know when you check in . I asked her if the couch was a pull out and she said no the room that you have is a little miniature couch and a double bed, I informed her there were three of us and she said they were sold out and she didn’t seem to care I had to sleep on the floor. I informed her that I guess I will be sleeping on the little couch, and if she had an extra pillow and bed sheets, she said housekeeping doesn’t arrive till tomorrow morning and just had of me one bed sheet, I was extremely disappointed as I stayed here last year and it was excellent

I travel a lot for business and I have to say this has been the best experience!! The hotel is beautiful! There is a lake with a dock in the back that is wonderful for relaxing after work. They have breakfast in the morning with a super sweet attendant that makes sure protocols are followed and that everything is clean! My room was extremely spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. I can attest to the wonderful property, but the staff went above and beyond to be accommodating! Super friendly staff! I am looking forward to going back today and being able to stay where I can relax!

This place was a good location for an overnight on our way to Florida but was a poor choice. We did get a first floor room as requested but the kitchen counter was sticky, the dishes in the dishwasher had food stuck on them, there was a sock under the end table and black lint things on the floor, and worst of all, the bedroom remote was too sticky to hold onto. This all leads me to believe the room was unsafe especially in the current atmosphere. The front desk called twice after we checked in to ask how it was and when told the above, they said "OK." At checkout I repeated our complaints and again got the impression that no one cared. Also, while they made a stab at a hot breakfast, they ran out of sausages and said it would take 10-15 minutes to make more. We weren't going to stand there that long. Never again,

My husband and I spent two nights here in their one bedroom suite and we were very pleased with our stay. Everybody that we met was very friendly, the breakfast and evening happy hour looked very nice, but we did not avail ourselves of either of those. It is a 10 to 15 minute drive to downtown Tallahassee but I liked being at a slightly quieter location. The only reason for not giving five stars is that a little bit more attention could’ve been spent on the cleanliness. Nothing that a good dusting would not take care of.

The room was a great size (we had the 2 queen bed suite), the beds were very comfortable, the price is decent and it's not right off the highway (which I really like - it's quieter not having highway noise). BUT it's not as clean as it should be!! We found 2 dead roaches on the floor in the living room area and a live roach on the shower curtain. Due to the roaches we won't stay here again.

I believe it is, been awhile since I have been there. It was juice a Danish and an sausage biscuit. Also they offered fruit.

Worth the stay.
They charge $75 (non refundable). They make guests with pets very comfortable. Also, the grounds are very nice for taking walks with your pet.
