Thank you Luxury Coastal Vacations staff for an amazing condo, Spanish Key 209, and week at the beach. Everything was perfect. Although there was some work going on, it did not get in our way. We love the location near Flora-Bama, restaurants, beautiful beach, and activities. This was one of the best stocked condos we have had the pleasure of staying at. The master bed was exceptionally comfy and the shower and tub were awesome. We are returning 7-14 August for Spanish Key in a different unit. We love Spanish Key. Make sure and give Casey, Yvonne, and the staff at Luxury Coast Vacations a call and ask them to set you up with a Spanish Key dreamy vacation.

My girlfriend and I spent 11 days at Spanish Key renting from Luxury Coastal Vacations. We were very, very, pleased with our condo, location, beach, and the staff at Luxury Coastal Vacations! We love the Frank Brown Songwriter Festival and Spanish Key is within walking distance. Great place to "pop the question" as we are not engaged! The weather was remarkable and record setting for this time of year at 80s almost every day. The condo is well stocked, awesome bed, comfortable, my date loved the colors/artwork/design and layout. The Luxury Coastal Vacations staff helped us book the condo a year in advance and also work in a change without any hassle. You cannot go wrong with this condo and this rental group/agency.

Best views, best management team in Luxury Coastal Vacations, best quality accommodations, safe, secure, great sunsets and location on beach. We have stayed here several times and never had a problem. The beds sleep like a dream. Sitting on the deck watching the sunset or beach is wonderful. Hot tub is a plus. Great location near the Flora-Bama, restaurants, attractions.

The unit overall was nice, but Really dirty! Our socks were black after walking on the floors, mold in shower and around base of jacuzzi. Both sliding doors were impossible to open and close with one person. The kitchen lacked good appliances, no crock pot, bad blender and no small accessories like potato smashers, garlic press, etc. knobs on dishwasher were broken, we were able to use the dishwasher but for the price,I expected things to be better stocked and not broken. Darker curtains need to be put in all bedrooms and main room for those sleeping on sofa bed. Guest room queen bed was rickety and my family were hesitant to sleep on it. Master bedroom mattress was super comfortable. No linens for sofa bed were provided , thankfully I brought some. Because I have to pack kitchen and linens items, I will not stay in this unit again.

Condo 702: Worst of all is the parking if you have more than two cars. We were only given two parking passes and we asked where else our party could park. They gave us 3 locations, all at least 10 minutes away which was $60/day, a week was required. One of the places was 23 minutes away and we were told to leave $10/day in a box to pay to park there all week.
The building is being renovated. Construction equipment noises, scaffolding around the pool, and only ONE elevator in operation. Wait and wait some more.
Upon arrival we immediately noticed that a closet in one of the three bedrooms was locked so no closet for hanging clothes. Owners were unresponsive when notified.
The sliding door to the balcony needs new rollers so was extremely hard to push open and closed. Service called but did not fix it. Children couldn’t use at all without an adult.
The furniture doesn’t go together; like the owners brought the rejects from their home. The sofa cushions keep moving forward and is very uncomfortable.
The shower doors in one bathroom won’t slide without a great deal of effort… very aggravating.
The furniture on the balcony is pitiful! One chair is broken and the cushions are mildewed.
The pictures on the walls and decor are in abundance like an art showing or gift shop. No coordination. It was good for comic relief though.

Great local place. Grouper and shrimp good. Great gumbo with everything in it. Cheese burger huge and looked good as were fries. Ms. Lisa took Great care of our group. Entire menu is on my try it.out list ! Definitely on my repeat viisit list !

We've rented from Meyer a few times now, each time thinking it will be better. The condos just aren't cleaned & kept up as well as those we've rented from individuals or smaller companies, though.
The check-in time of 3pm with a check-out time of 10am robs you of a day while you still pay for it. You may be told you can call a few days before your arrival to see about checking-in earlier "if no one stayed there the prior night." Be aware that when you call a day or two before you arrive to ask about that aforementioned "early check-in", they'll tell you that the policy changed and actually no one is allowed to check-in early anymore. Funny that this is what I was told a few weeks ago, and now a friend of mine made her reservation with them for June and they are telling her the same "you might be able to check-in early" story. Fishy.
Besides, the late check-in was explained to me as allowing for "quality assurance" measures so they could be certain the condo was in top shape. But on each visit we've had problems (in different condos) with the blinds not working or not hung up at all (which was a glaring problem for those of us sleeping on the fold-out couch...and that couch bed had definitely provided better sleep 10 years ago), trash left under couches or on the patio (including cig butts when it's supposed to be a non-smoking facility), tubs that won't drain, mildew-smelling shower curtains, loud maintenance directly in front of the building on weekends and weekdays, etc. It's frustrating when you're paying so much.
There are definitely good points, like location (they own probably 90% of the condos on the beach), water pressure, & appliances, which is a reason we have kept trying. The bottom line is to have fun and enjoy despite the problems, which we did. We always have a wonderful vacation. But I think we'll return to renting from smaller companies and individuals next time. The little things do make a difference in comfort. Have a great vacation regardless of where you stay! Best wishes!

After booking our non-refundable condo was informed that the outdoor pool would be closed during the time we were there (spring break). We were a party of five families with eight kids who couldn’t use the pool. Upon arriving. Found out the building had been under construction since January! They could of notified customers of this closure way in advance and if we had know this we would of never rented from Spanish Key. We all feel they were very deceitful in acknowledging this closure If you plan on going there, be prepared for the pool to still be closed for several more weeks!! We will never rent from them again!!

We booked a 3 BR condo through Resort Quest. There were seven people in our unit. Unfortunately neither couch folded out and the 3rd bedroom had two twin beds. One of our family had to sleep on the couch all week. The kitchen was poorly stocked. There were no baking pans or baking dishes or mixing bowls. We made due after a call to the desk was basically disrearded. The location was great-the beach was beautiful-the indoor and out door pool were very nice-the workout room was top notch and we really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub! The resort was gated and our code did not work-neither did anyone elses. We checked in on Xmas eve and there was no staff on site until the day after Xmas. The good outweighed the bad but it was not what we were expecting after having rented from Resort Quest previously.

We have been here for almost two weeks over Christmas and New Year's. We rented through Luxury Vacation Rentals and were very pleased with our accommodations and the cleanliness of 705. The staff was great to work with! Our views were magnificent! The unit was extremely well equipped for baking and cooking. There were plenty of glasses, dinnerware, and utensils. I would definitely rent from them again.
