Secured deck parking was convenient. Breakfasts were good and included fresh cataloupe and honeydew; a little variety would be nice (omelets, for example). Our balcony 9th floor Gulf facing room was well appointed and comfortable; there is no microwave, though. The pool was beautiful and the parking and beach umbrella and chairs were well worth the added resort fee. Front desk and kitchen staff were friendly. Room service was only upon request, but our beds were made and trash cans emptied each day. Wish the floors would also be swept daily, since sand tracking is unavoidable.

The hotel was beautiful. Breakfast was great, but be aware that there are lines, some times long, no matter when you are getting breakfast. Beach access next to the pool; sunshade and sun loungers available until 6PM. Pool is saltwater and very nice. Good for families. Drinks are pricey though ($12 for a cocktail in plastic cup, hm). The room was great. However, we did not get room service in 6 days. I inquired about room service and was told that I have to request it. That was new to me. I did request room service then (it was 8AM) but we got no room service that day or the next day. Over the 6 days, we stopped room service working at other rooms to give us fresh towels, toilet paper, and to pick up the trash that we placed outside of our door. I have not been in a hotel where you have to ask for room service. Then being ignored was disappointing. Especially for the room price (plus accommodation fee). But if you know about all these things you can make it work.

Complementary self parking that is very closed by and easy to access; complementary beach chairs and umbrellas with excellent staff onsite to help. The breakfast offers hot scrambled eggs, sausages/beacon; potatoes/hash browns that change everyday during my two day stay. The weather is great with quiet, peaceful tranquil ocean that are clear and shallow. Fishes come to you even is close to the shore. We also see dolphins! Highly recommended.

The oceanfront view was beautiful and the room decor was nice, but those were the only good things about our 7 day stay. Right after checking in, I pulled the covers/sheets back on our bed and there was dried blood and hair strands in the bed. Housekeeping came up and changed the linens, and gave us a $100 credit towards our stay which we appreciated, but the Housekeeping manager berated her staff member right in front of us which was completely unprofessional and made us uncomfortable. Cleaning service was is only provided every 2 days, however we only received partial cleaning service on day 3 and day 5 of our 7 day stay. Both days the service was subpar. They did not provide new towels, shower gel or toilet paper on Day 3. Our bedding was not changed during the entire stay, and the floor was filthy due to the sand from the beach. They charge a $45 per day resort fee to cover breakfast, beach towels, umbrella and chairs. The umbrella and chairs were good, but the breakfast was powdered eggs everyday, no non-pork options for meat, salsa, cheese, potatoes and grits or oatmeal along with assorted pastries. The location was great, it was a 15 min walk each day to the Seabreeze Festival and there is a Walmart and other stores about a half mile away.

I liked the room, being on the beach with the views awesome, the location in proximity to event attending was great and within walking distance from hotel. Daily variety of options for breakfast was fantastic. Staff was professional and friendly. Room service was questionable, having to make reservations to have room cleaned daily seemed different when the expectation is or has been the rooms are cleaned daily.

This is not a family friendly hotel the access to the beach is so narrow so if you have kids you have to wait for someone to come all the way up and hurry to get down there. There should also be a bridge to the parking lot the place to stand at the cross walk floods and the hotel guest have no access to walk around in the garage to the other side unless they open the gates if you have a stroller also Alvin’s place should not receive front row parking. Also most hotels give complimentary coffee, tea and water all day long so this hotel is just all about the money and they give free breakfast but the area is so tiny you have to wait in a 30 minute line if you don’t get there right when they open . To me there is many areas that need to fixed compared to the other hotels we have stayed at right on the beach. The only plus of this hotel is if you need to bring an animal. We also never had our room cleaned in the 5 nights we stayed and we scheduled it for every other day we actually had to ask for toilet paper and towels.

We really liked this hotel. We had one big negative after checking in, but after that was addressed, we enjoyed all other things about the hotel. Check in was fast—we used the app to pre-check in and just stopped at the desk for key cards. After taking our bags to our room, I went into the bathroom and was disgusted to see the toilet seat was up and it was grossly soiled—it clearly had not been cleaned. The bathroom floor was also dirty. We went down to the front desk and we were switched to another room. The bathroom floor was super sticky and had black shoe prints. Not a great start. The manager implied that I was being picky/exaggerating by going to “check” our 3rd room before giving us the key. Third room was fine. After getting past the dirty toilet and floors issues, there were plenty of great things about the hotel. The decor and furnishing of the room and hotel was gorgeous. The view from our room and the balcony was great. The rooms are apparently well insulated as we never heard a peep outside our room or from neighboring rooms. And the room was also nice and dark for sleeping. The free breakfast was excellent and not the typical hotel free breakfast (ie, fake eggs). Tons of choices and it all tasted great and was amply stocked. Never waited in line. And lots of tables/seating indoors and out. We enjoyed our breakfast outside with oceanfront views both mornings. Aside from having to cross the street for the parking garage, the parking was great. The pool area was awesome. And the beach access cannot be beat! Hop in the elevator and then out the gate by the pool and you’re on the beach! Huge plus is the provided beach chairs and umbrellas. You just walk out and sit down. And the company that the hotel has contracted for that service—Lazy Days Beach Rentals—is outstanding. The hotel also has tons of towels ready by the pool as well as a couple nice foot baths for post-beach cleanup. Despite the initial bad experience, the overall stay and amenities were great and we would stay here again.

This property just opened in July 2022. It is so nice and new! We enjoyed our stay on the 4th floor beachfront with a private balcony. New linens, new towels, new pillows, all new! All the hotel amenities are great. The breakfast bar was well-stocked and delicious. Staff was very attentive. Access to the pool and the beach are easy. The beach chairs and umbrellas are first come, first served, but we had no issues getting them as people rotated throughout the day. Same for pool lounge chairs. Towels and donut floats are provided at the pool, which is very nice. The lazy river is awesome! The hot tub is relaxing. There was live music one night at the pool, which we enjoyed. There was a resort feel.

Areas for improvement - 1) Add microwaves to the rooms; we had to go down to the front desk to pop microwave popcorn. 2) Each person in our party was asked to wear a waterproof armband (the kind that sticks with adhesive like you get at a sports event or bar) for the entire stay for security purposes. The hotel relied on us to put them on and there is a $10 fee if you lose it. We saw many people at the pool, beach and breakfast without them. There didn't appear to be enforcement, and it was strange sleeping, showering and going to a nice dinner with a paper Hyatt armband on our wrists. They should consider eliminating, enforcing, or changing to a rubber, removable band. 3) The luggage racks are the small, triangular ones and there aren't a lot of them. With all the people bringing chairs, towels, coolers, luggage, etc, they were in high demand and overloaded, especially in the checkout window. People would use multiple ones, leave them on the floors, etc. Behavior is not the hotel's fault, but larger carts and more of them would be helpful. 4) Breakfast ends at 9:00 a.m. on weekdays and the pool/hot tub closes at 10 p.m. Those times are a little early for those on vacation. Should extend at least an hour later.

Lastly, I looked ahead to book again for a date in the spring, and the rates were more than twice what we paid last week. $300 per night is at the very top of our budget range, so $700 per night is out of the question. If people can pay it, great for the hotel, but not for us. There is a $40 per night "resort fee" which should be considered part of the room cost. I am not sure why it is considered separately, but given that breakfast, self-parking and beach chairs/umbrellas are part of the amenities, it helped justify.

Great hotel. Clean. Quiet. Beautiful. Modern. Friendly, customer focused staff.

Breakfast includes scrambled and boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt cereal, pastries, coffee, tea, juices and breads everyday. Then, on alternate days: French toast or pancakes, sausage links or ham, hash brown patties or potatoes, grits or oatmeal. Also, any topping or condiment you could want. The staff at breakfast seemed to go above and beyond in keeping the area tidy and in friendliness.

The lazy river is small but relaxing. All ages enjoyed it. The hotel provides floats but if you want to bring your own, don’t blow it up. There is an electric pump by the towel bar. Towels are also plentiful. This hotel is one of the few with a shaded area with ceiling fans by the pool.

The hot tub is large and always worked for us (it seems hot tubs are so often out of order in our travels).

Our room was cleaned every other day which was just right for us.

The complimentary shampoo, conditioner and shower gel was in full size containers on the shower wall. Yet, another thumbs up for us.

The beach chairs with umbrellas was nice, but we preferred hanging out at the pool and taking occasional trips to swim in the ocean.

Parking was not connected to the hotel but across the street. It had to plenty of Tesla chargers and looks like they might be tripling that capacity. A hotel key card is required to access most of the garage.

The overall location of this hotel no is very close to shopping and restaurants at Pier Park. Also, walking distance to some restaurants on the beach as well as the dog beach which is fun to visit to watch the pups play in the ocean.

The coffee maker in our room had real, ceramic mugs not flimsy paper cups.

Our only negative is we did not have a microwave in our room and the fridge is very small. We were under the impression, as others we spoke with, that at a minimum all rooms had a microwave and fridge.

Upon check-in, front desk associate said they had rooms available and it would be $50.00 for early check-in. It was almost 1:00. She said I could check in at 4:00. I asked if I was able to use the facilities till then and she said “what facilities do you want to use because you’ll need a room key to access the beach or pool.” That left me with no choice. I left and checked in with the app and behold, I was able to check in at 2:30, for free. She said there wouldn’t be housekeeping unless we requested it. After she gave me my card, I can’t get into our room. After 5 minutes of trying, my partner goes downstairs to get new cards. We try again and it doesn’t work. The app said the deadbolt was in use. Another surprise, we heard sounds from the other side, maintenance guy opens door and said he had to reset the safe. The safe is right by the door and you can hear it. Not sure what he was doing in the for 10 mins. Now, I’m uncomfortable. My partner then goes to the bar and is short changed $20.00. Second day, housekeeping enters the room while we were gone after they said there won’t be any. The bartender made a totally different cocktail than I ordered and gave the people at the bar the wrong food orders. The property is beautiful and has such great potential, unfortunately these employees are questionable and make for an unenjoyable vacationing experience. I’ve never been charged for an early check-in, ever. You try to vacation and relax but instead you had to worry about what else was going to happen.

Yes you can. They will give you a tag/label saying something like “ My fur friend is in the room” and no-one goes into your room for cleaning when they see that tag hanged on the room door. Your pet can safely stay in when you are out for dinner or enjoying in the pool/beach. We regularly stay there with our frenchies safely. It is a great hotel.

The only restriction I can recall is that you need a card key to come back into the pool area from the beach. Otherwise, it is unrestricted between the pool and the lobby. Sometimes we needed to sign in and out for towels. Other times we did not.

It was not when we went. However, I would not visit PCB during peak times like Spring Break, Fall Break, Summer if you want to stay family oriented.

Yes, as I recall it was. Not bath water, but certainly warmer than the ocean or regular pool water.
