I got a great deal through a discount with my employer. I ended up adding a day through the Marriott app. Upon arrival I was told I couldn’t combine the reservation but could keep my sane room so I had to go checkout them check back in. We arrived around 6 pm and we were assigned to building 3, which is a smaller one. The front desk was going to send a bellhop with a cart but they didn’t come. We were on the guest floor so I was able to bring in our luggage without a cart. The cleaning lady was standing outside our room. I asked how long it would be because we’d been driving for 9 hours and had about 10 bags and groceries sitting outside... near the trash. She was very rude and just snapped that it wasn’t done yet. No apology or explanation. About 10 minutes later another employee who I assumed was a supervisor came by and asked why we weren’t in our room yet. She spoke up the crew and within a few minutes we were able to go in. There’s no cleaning during your stay, you have to request it on the 3rd day. Our room had a small patio but the door didn’t work from the inside. The vent was very noisy but that was good because it blocked outside noises from the elevator and people on the hallway. The room was spacious and beds were very comfortable. We ate at the 3 restaurants on property. Flip Flops and the Pelican has wonderful service and great food. The tides is a bit pricey fir breakfast, especially their holiday special, but service was good. Just a heads up they charge your card when you charge things to the room, basically upping the “hold” amount. I’d never had that anywhere I’ve stayed before so at 1 point they’d help $600 for meals we charged (totaling less than $200) just in case. It may not have gone to them but it definitely wasn’t available in my checking. I understand the reason just think they need to explain. Everyone wore masks though and there were plastic screens at the front desk. I think when the pandemic is over the perks will be more worth the visit. The beach was beautiful but you have to get there early. I wish they’d limit saved chairs because one lady had 10 she was saving and in the couple hours we were there most stayed empty. The pools were nice as well. It’s a beautiful property and we’d consider staying here again.

Very pleasant surprise as the resort is quite large; great pair/boardwalk and 3 restaurants onsite. Smalll beach area that was just beautiful to find many hermit crabs of all size and shape roaming freely. Tissue and sanitizer by elevators make fir a sense of customer safety. wish more was dint fir the doors etc to reduce contact. Room was typical hotel room with carpets that didn’t give that “fresh” feel. beautiful resort i’d definitely bring family back.

We brought a family with us for 5 days mini vacation at the Sheraton. The staff at the hotel can't be any nicer, especially I like to thank Debi, and front desk staff, they are taking taking extra step to take care the guests, even we all experienced staff shortage. I have to give them whole lot of credit!
The hotel it self located in a quiet area away from the big condos, that give us a peace full resting 5 days even we had rain every day but the grounds are so beautiful and well kept, we were able to enjoy the garden, the wooden bridge and private beach a little while the rain stops.
The room is average resort rooms, you can see some age, and the draining is very slow, but is clean and comfortable.
Breakfast buffet was on the par with similar hotels, they really provide extra precaution to provide gloves for guests taking food, that was very nice.
Free parking always a plus.
We did eat couple times at the hotel, the food were good, service was slow but the staff tried very hard!

Unfortunately, I had to evacuate from Hurricane Ida and had limited time and choices as to where to book in. Had I done my research, I would have chosen a different location for the obscene amount of money that I paid. Let’s start with the positives. Pets are allowed and the resort waived the nonrefundable pet fee. Check in was easy and I never had to wait whenever I went to the front desk (which was a lot….more on that later). I actually had a first floor room with a view of the golf course which was nice. The bartenders in Tides were very nice even though it was clear that they were very overworked. Ok, here are the negatives. Despite being hurricane evacuees, we were charged a $30 a da “resort” fee. For what? We didn’t do a thing while we were checked in other than try to get an internet connection so I could find out how bad the damage was at home and when I could leave. Secondly, we were there for 8 days and did not get housekeeping the entire time. We had to ask at the front desk for towels, emptying trash cans, etc. Whether we got what we asked for was hit or miss. The towel bar in the bathroom just fell off the wall out of the blue. The carpet in the room was badly stained and so was the bedding. The place is literally falling apart. Lastly, this place is really off the beaten path. You have to drive anyplace to get food or shop away from the resort and it’s not 5 minutes. It’s a good 20-25 ride. It was fine the first few days but started to get old fast. I wished I had booked something cheaper and more centralized because this is not a $275 a night hotel by any stretch.

I am a Marriott Lifetime Titanium elite. I chose this hotel for the 4th weekend knowing that during COVID it would not be perfect. Well, from losing my reservation to checking into a room that looked like someone had died in it and that was only the first hour. The next morning we got locked out of the room and had no service. Had to switch rooms. Ok, new room still disgusting. When I asked if they could service the room, they told me only every three days and after 2 hours deposited at my door towels and a large trash bag for me to empty out my own trash.

No compassion, horrible service, disgusting hallways and elevators. Never again Sheraton.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful resort that is almost completely rebuilt after being blown apart by Hurricane Michael. Many people in the Panama City area lost their homes and jobs with the hurricane, but are quickly rebounding. Everyone that we met from Nikitta at the front desk to Lahaina, serving breakfast at Tides with a beautiful view, and Garret at the impeccably clean spa; everyone we met working here was happy to be back and made us incredibly comfortable. The common spaces are beautiful with granite, wood, soft upholstered chairs, and freshly baked cookies in the lobby. There seem to be different specials throughout the week. We enjoyed some friendly rounds at trivia night (Thursday nights) at the bar in Tides and a prime rib buffet at the Golf Club. The resort fee includes use of bicycles, a daily wellness class (i.e. yoga) and use of the lovely spa facilities at Serenity Spa. The resort is still rebuilding, so ask when making reservations about any additional “resort” features that may be available. Stuffed French toast is really tasty with assorted fresh berries. "Flip flops" is a poolside bar/cafe right on the water. Onsite management is attentive and friendly, asking if anything is needed. We were impressed with this well-staffed property and plan to return soon.

You're literally paying for how nice The rooms look. Yes, the hotel is beautiful and the private beach is amazing ! The bed is nice and comfy! However; it's not worth the money you are paying out. I reserved two rooms for my brother and I for my birthday weekend. I question just how clean the rooms actually are. Upon walking into my room I didn't smell any cleaning products. Their cleaning crew did not have on masks. Also their was a toilet paper roll left from the previous guest before us in the bathroom. The bathrooms actually have a slight smell of sewer. According to the pictures you are supposed to get a nice balcony that you can sit on but you can bearly stand outside on the balcony. The pictures on the website are very misleading. There are no trash bags in the trash cans, No alarm clocks, or microwaves in the rooms. There are not enough parking spaces. To top everything off They want you to pay $18 for breakfast. They don't accommodate any of your request. I spoke to them a couple days prior to my visit. I wanted my rooms side by side and at least have a bath tub in one. My rooms were on opposite ends of the hallway and both showers. One room was very small as well. They just slapped resort on the end of their name to charge you extra. You are better off going to Hampton inn.

Our visit to Sheraton Panama City Beach was a very pleasant surprise. After a long 2 day drive we arrived to check in somewhat early. The Guest Associate, Irina, greeted us with a kind and compassionate smile. She was very accommodating to our requests. Upon entering our room it felt very comfortable. The only concern we had was the carpet needed to be steam cleaned, it was very spotted.
It also would help if they provided some disposable dishes and utensils to use in the mini kitchenette. The refrigerator never got cold enough for food. The employees were all very friendly, always concerned about making our visit comfortable and relaxing. Dylan at the Flip Flops Bar greeted us every afternoon with a genuine smile asking how our day has been. He remembered my husband's favorite drink is an Arnold Palmer. Tracy took extra time to sit with guests and talk about their day, asking if he could do anything to make it absolutely wonderful. The Serenity Spa is amazing. Definitely treat yourself!
The golf is very expensive and the employees were not as accommodating as the rest of resort staff. This is not a luxurious Marriott resort, but the superior customer service makes up for it.
We will definitely return again when we drive to Florida. Island Time Catamaran sunset cruise was incredibly beautiful. We were lucky enough to see several dolphins.

The place is dated on the pool area is in great need for repairs, cleaning and updating. The bed was very comfortable. And that ends the good stuff. Except nice view of the bay. Room had dead roaches and big ones. The glasses were dirty and this is after a supposedly deep. Lean for Covid 19. The bathroom is so small you can take a shower go to the toilet and brush your teeth all at the same time. The food in their dining rooms is like heat and serve from a Hampton Inns breakfast bar. Luckily we only had to stay 2 nights, oh that’s the other they only clean every third day and you get 1 set of towels.

We had booked thru RCI so they put us in the worst room (first floor next to the lobby entrance). Everyone entering the lobby from the parking lot walked 15’ in front of our room. Can you say NO PRIVACY. The room had no shears only black out drapes, good ones so it was like a cave. The lighting is so bad that we put the main bathroom light on as a night light. For that it was perfect, but impossible to put on make up or shave with its light. All of the remaining lights were also very dim. The room had an empty shampoo bottle. The first morning I called for some shampoo and an extra blanket and corrective action for the shower (If anyone in the hotel flushed a toilet while you were showering the capacity went down to a drizzle and lost all hot water, plus other issues). They promptly sent someone with the shampoo and blanket and someone from engineering about the shower problem. When Housekeeping came they took back the blanket and evidentially tossed the mouthpiece to my CPAP machine (it had been drying on a hand towel on the bathroom counter). I could go on, but needless to say we checked out early and will not be returning. And no we did not get any money back because we had booked thru RCI.
