Nestled in a convenient and beautiful location, Innisbrook Resort is celebrated for its lively atmosphere and wide range of activities, from pools to dining options. However, guests have called out the resort for not offering value in line with its high costs, pointing to dated facilities and overpriced services. While the professional staff often receives commendation, service experiences vary, with some facing slow service or overcharges. Cleanliness is generally upheld in the well-maintained grounds, though the charm of the rooms is sometimes overshadowed by their outdated condition.

This was our first time in Florida to stay in 25 years. We chose Innisbrook for the beauty , the excellent amenities , the comfort and the location. We visited beaches, bride bikes , shopped all the areas we wanted to visit as it was a central place. Everything about the resort exceeded our expectations!

After reading some of the reviews on here I was a little nervous about booking but came on the recommendation of a co-worker. Regarding accommodations; yes the units were clearly built in the 70’s but we find the interior of the building we stayed in updated with new paint and carpeting in the hallway. Our unit was up to date with hard wood type flooring, new furniture, stainless appliances and a nice walk in shower. It was clean and we had no complaints with housekeeping services. They brought fresh towels, cleaned the bathroom and even did our dishes! We did visit the spa twice (signature facial and the 80 minute deep tissue massage) and the spa is very nice and staff is very accommodating. No complaints with the spa. We ate a few times at the main clubhouse (North and South Course) and had great service by our waiter Bryce. Food and drinks are pricey but tasty and it’s nice to sit out on the patio or by the fire pit watching the golfers going out or coming in. We golfed at North, Island and Copperhead. Courses were all beautiful and well maintained but it’s very expensive to golf there. In comparison to other courses we have golfed; including Arizona and California it’s hard to justify charging over 200 per person for nine holes on a weekday! All of the staff from check in to golf attendants, spa, wait staff, groundskeepers, poolside, we’re VERY friendly and accommodating. The people that stay there or live there are very friendly as well. When I would run in the mornings I was always greeted with a wave or a good morning. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely consider returning.

We stayed here four nights in a two bedroom suite with a nice view of the 15th. green on the Copperhead course. The suite is really large. Bedrooms had a lot of room and really large den with a large balcony. Nice kitchen also. We played the Island course the first day and it was in fair condition. The staff there was very nice. The next day we played Copperhead and it was in excellent condition. It was a week or so before they were to place PGA Valspar so we were lucky to play it. The staff at the pro shop was also great. At both courese we played the carts were set up with our bags on them in the order of the tee times which made it really nice. We didn't eat much there but the times we did it was good. No issues. I think one day we will go back.

We spent two nights at the Innisbrook Resort. Check-in was good. Upon arriving at the building our room was in, we were greeted with a large dumpster at the main entrance and a port-a-potty to the side. many of the parking spots around the entrance were taken up with cones and yellow caution tape. Once maneuvering our luggage into the entrance and finding our room on the second floor (without elevators) we found our room to be clean, freshly painted, small and with one small window. We unpacked our suitcases and decided to open the bottle of wine that was graciously given to us by the family hosting the wedding we were attending at Innisbrook. We tried to open the blinds in the window all the way up but the heavy Venetian blinds were broken and would not go up. The blinds would open but would not go up and the right side of the blinds were coming out of the window casing. We called the front desk to ask if someone could look at our blinds and if we could have two wine glasses delivered to our room. At first we were told they could deliver wine glasses then told they could not but they would send an engineer to fix the blinds. The engineer arrived and concluded they could not fix and would need to replace (the following week). Disappointed I called the front desk again and explained. They said they could move us to another building (not the same building) if we wanted to pack up our things they would send staff.....

Booked a "Classic Golf Package" for Memorial Day weekend for me and three friends to celebrate a birthday and ease of restrictions to the Covid quarantine. The place is absolutely horrible. I have played golf at many top rated golf courses that hosts PGA events and my friends and I were in disbelief at the condition of the Island and Copperhead courses. We found out the day before we arrived that the North and South Courses were closed. Was told by the director of golf that the Island and Copperhead courses were in great condition other than "a little dormant grass around the greens" We arrived to check into a two bedroom suite which looks like something out of the 1970s with a couple of stainless steel appliances placed in the kitchen. The pictures from their website appear photo shopped. Was told at check in the practice facility was open only to arrive at the course to find they were closed. Island Course bag boys were friendly but unorganized. Told us just to "tee off whenever we were ready" no starter. Course was HORRIBLE...dead grass and sand on the tee boxes and fairways. We played 5 holes and left in disgust. Went over to check out the Copperhead course because we were scheduled to play that the next two days. It was equally as bad. Later that afternoon, we decided we would sleep one night, get up the next morning and go to Orlando to play some quality courses. Called guest services only to get a voice message. Went in at 8:00 the next morning to inform them we were leaving and would only be paying for one night's lodging. Was told "you have to pay for 2/3 of the package". Turned over to American Express who is handling my refund at this time. If you enjoy golf, avoid this place at all costs. I have seen $20 a round municipal courses in better shape than this place. They should be ashamed and embarrassed for allowing this place to be open under present conditions.

Having family in the area, I have stayed at the resort a few times in past years. After staying there the last few days, I cannot believe how run down it is. The room was completely run down, the towels are old and worn, one having a huge tear through it, the hot water faucet came off in my hand, the light didn’t work, the coffee machine was filthy and worn and the coffee supplies were not replenished each day. House keeping service was only available upon request, which we did, and still did not receive the service until we called and complained. We had to drive to the main building to get coffee which was not complimentary to guests. I really am blown away and the lack of attention given to this property and it’s guests outside of the golf course.

Most guest rooms are renovated and they are replacing and painting the exterior as needed. The rooms are much better than previous visits, but with more than healthy cost increases ever year it is indeed getting costly. We’re not there for the rooms and we go for the golf, but some rooms are well appointed nonetheless. The North, and especially the South Course, are in bad shape. Worth skipping the South altogether. The island was in okay shape and as always Copperhead is primed ahead of the tournament. We have had an annual trip to Innisbrook for over 15 years. After playing the South Course and the continued rising rates we will likely move the trip to AZ. The course will be in better shape. I will give props to the workers that serve breakfast and cart service. They do a great job getting you what you need.

My fiancée looked under the king bed and saw nail clippings, dead bugs and dust bunnies. We were told at check-in by the unfriendly and condescending receptionist that if we requested a cleaning person for a condo we should call ahead. Obviously anybody that rented that condo never called ahead to have any cleaning done in the condo under the bed. Who knows the last time the condo was vacuumed and the floor was washed?

Looked at menu for the food at the pub and the bar menu nothing but nothing is priced so you can imagine how skyrocketed the food prices are. We decided not to eat there. I will say one of the doorman or Vayz was very friendly in accommodating and asked if we needed help. God bless him, it’s nice to know somebody really cares there.

I did not golf. We won’t return.

We have been staying at this resort for about 10 years. It has been about 3 years since our last visit for reasons I am certain one can surmise. But this visit was clearly unlike all of the rest. It is unfortunately becoming a run down resort. In its heyday, it was truly the epitomy of luxury but the units/condos that you rent are ill equipped now; very little in the way of kitchen items such as full sets of glasses, wine glasses, cooking tools, cookie pans, even simple necessities such as sponge, dishrag, dish towel. None of these things were there. Coffee pot - yes. Old, 4 cup. Daily housekeeping service which is weird but no Do Not Disturb sign available for those of us who do not wish for service to be provided, particularly since there aren't any safes in these units. Over $400 a night plus fees. Island course - beautiful if you want to pay exorbitant greens fees for no good reason. Tennis center? Was a great facility but the courts are not watered; fences falling down. They still have certain areas closed to the public such as the Turnberry pub. Just a shame that they are letting this resort deteriorate. If I owned there, which we looked into doing and thankfully didn't, I certainly would be wary of losing your golf course views to condos. Just saying. And upon arrival, they clearly let the public know that they do not recognize any 3rd party bookings so if you own and are trying to rent directly because they don't do a good enough job for you, your guests cannot use the amenities. We booked directly but just beware. We will skip this facility next time. Orange Lake/Holiday Inn in Kissimmee is a much better complex than this now. Too bad.

We just got back from a five night stay at Innisbrook. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and were joined by friends who were also celebrating their 25th anniversary earlier this year. We had a spacious two bedroom suite with two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a large balcony overlooking the golf course. The suite was clean and housekeeping provided daily service. Our suite was directly across the street from the Loch Ness Monster Pool which we enjoyed daily for lunch, frozen cocktails and a few trips down the water slides. I took a private tennis lesson with Sean who provided excellent tips but it was uncomfortably hot! (90+ degrees with extreme humidity)
I was mostly impressed by the service we received by all the employees at Innisbrook. I had exchanged telephone calls and emails with Diana Felix in guest services prior to and during our stay. She provided excellent customer service and recommendations for dining options. Christine Evans greeted us every day, by name, at the Lock Ness pool and anticipated our drink and food requests. All the employees are still required to wear masks due to COVID but I could tell that they were greeting us with smiles behind their masks.
We had dinner at the Market Salamander Grille on two evenings. The food, service and ambiance were outstanding. We had the noodle bowl, redfish tacos, and fresh grouper and all of these dishes are memorable. I recommend eating outside on the patio, weather permitting.
We ventured off property a few times and took a day trip to Caladesi Island State Park which is only accessible by boat. I would recommend a visit to this remote beach but be well equipped. Bring a cooler with food and drinks. The food options are limited.
The resort has four golf courses and we were there at the conclusion of the Valspar Championship. We did not play golf but I would recommend Innisbrook for a family or group looking for a golf/pool/tennis vacation.

You definitely need to contact Innisbrook. This is an older facility that is very spread out. Some, if not all multi story buildings are stairs only, and they didn’t have anyone to help with luggage etc. We stayed in a ‘presidential suite’ that had steps that were difficult to deal with. We had to drive to everything due to the location of our room. We did not find it to be a user friendly resort.

I think it depends on the unit. The resort overall is a dump compared to the legend of the course, the fact it’s a pga stop and the price you pay. We will never stay here again.

I can only speak to the North Course, which my wife and I played this past October. The course needs attention and is not worth the green fee of $125/each. We stayed at one of the condos next to the course and they’ve seen better days and if I recall correctly there was a daily parking fee.
