I love the Cove it has become "my place" to get away. The staff is super nice. They have loungers and umbrellas down by the beach, that's half the draw. I can lay in comfort for hours and just soak in the ambience. Complete with a gentleman to make sure you don't need anything, he was the sweetest. And if you get the right room, it'll have a huge tub in it, only 2 bedrooms. And the indoor pool is always the right temp! It is my home away from home.

I’m on my last day at The Cove, and I’ve tried to find something wrong with it. I care as a family of 4, and there was plenty of room. The kitchen is nice, and stocked with the basic dishes. There is no pizza pan or pizza slicer, but we made do with a frozen pizza from the local Publix. I’m a man who enjoys big bathrooms, and this was spacious enough that we had no problems. The living room/dining area was nice. The views were adequate. We were at an angle to the ocean, not head-on, which was fine. The balcony was nice to sit and read on. The bed was soft and comfy.
The problem was the $23/day amenity fee that we were not aware of when we booked. Because of Covid precautions they cut down on the maid service, so you take your own trash out, etc. They will bring you whatever you need though.
I would look to stay here again!

Front desk staff was great! Check-in and check-out was smooth. The proximity to the beach was a 10, because it was right out the back door. The hotel is outdated yet charming, however compared to other hotels it was the best. They keep it clean and when we called called down to ask for clean towels and more toiletries they immediately stocked us up. We will defiantly be visiting the Cove in Ormond Beach again.

Nice for walking on the beach in winter. Indoor pool is teeny-tiny. No laundry in the rooms - have to go to different floor to use laundry facilities. REALLY AWFUL soundproofing of the rooms - too bad about that, because otherwise, it could be a great place to stay for a week.

We have been here 3 days so far and the Cove has everything under control. The rooms and common areas are clean. The pool areas are well taken care of. They are following the guidelines with masks required and hand sanitizer as you enter. If you need a getaway, chose The Cove.

We had a studio which was fine for a couple. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all essential tools including paper towels, laundry detergent and extra coffee packs. The floors were super clean tile. This was a great place for families with kids, and I recommended that my niece bring her kids here. The last day the elevator on the South tower wasn't running (maintenance) and so we had to heft our bags down 6 flights of stairs ! Check in and out were efficient and there no add on fees not in the contract. Upon check in, there was a lady an adjacent counter offering fancy dinners in exchange for listening to a timeshare presentation. They catch you when you are tired!

We had a fun stay in Ormond Beach. This hotel was close to lots of places to eat, shops and locations to explore.
Our room was on the 5th floor of the South tower. Our view was a sliver of the ocean, a little of the pool area, the balconies of the North tower and the parking lot. It was ok and would have been nice to have an ocean view but that wasn't the main reason we were there. Our room was clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the kitchen and washer/dryer in our room. The pool was nice because we could let our three kids play without having to worry about them going in the deep end. I'm sure people would probably prefer something a little deeper but for us it was great. The access to the beach was great and the chairs and umbrellas were an added bonus! The only thing that I didn't really agree with is the extra resort fee on top of what you're already paying for the room. Most of the time when you stay somewhere the amenities this fee covered are usually included in the cost. Otherwise, we had a really nice visit and our trip to the area was a lot of fun!

This property is conveniently located to several very good restaurants. You can walk to Stonewood Grill ( my favorite) and Lulu’s Grill. Nearby is Charley Horse for great peel and eat shrimp. Pool area and grill area are very nice. They will set out chairs and umbrella’s every morning, just stake your place with towels if you are an all day beach person. If you require additional towels, laundry soap, shampoo, just about anything, text them and they will be there within 20 minutes! The rooms are dated, but for the price and area it is in, it is worth it! Have been visiting Ormond for years and 5 out of 6 times we have stayed here. Balconies all face a side view of the ocean but there are balconies on the end of each floor in the South tower to enjoy the morning sunsets. Have always stayed in the South Tower as the 2 bedrooms are the way to go. And, laundry is in the rooms in the South Tower.

My family stayed here for Spring Break based on reviews, location, and price. We were very happy with our choice overall. The property is located on the beach with nice pool/hot tub. Each day Matthew put out beach chairs and umbrellas for guests use, making us feel very special. The room itself had a nice sized kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bath with two balconies! The only negative was that the pull-out couch was noisy to sleep on. Seriously...that was it! Each room in the resort has ocean view the way that it is laid out. Very nicely done. Concierge is available via text whether you are on the beach and need a chair or in your room and need a plunger...believe me, I know. They respond in seconds and someone is there in person within minutes. Like I said, we will go back again!

Checked in about an hour before the advertised check in time. Our studio was a bed near the sliding patio door. We were on the 4th floor closest to the street, but with a nice view of the ocean. The traffic mouse from A1A was distracting Very clean. The check in process was quick. Friendly staff. The $25.00 per night resort fee is ridiculous. The activities, cookout and coffee station normally set up in the lobby is not presently offered due to Coronavirus. I asked what the fee is for and was told parking, wifi and phone calls. Who uses a room phone in today's society? The indoor pool had an overpowering smell of chlorine. ( We had a lot of rain and lightening). The outdoor pool area and lazy river looked wonderful had the weather cooperated.Beach towels and beach chairs with 🏖️ umbrella are also provided. Direct access to the beach,and great location for restaurants is a plus. Complete kitchen set up is nice. Couch and chair was also nice. Large flat screen tv with many channel options also nice. The in room coffee ,in my opinion was awlful, but not unexpected. Large bathroom with stepson shower ( no tub). No issues parking. All in all a very nice facility. Only complaint is the resort fee. Everything else was great.

It's up to you, there are several restaurants by walking distance, that's about it. Everything else I would say you do need a car. We hope this information is of help.

Hello Queen of Travel US,
The difference in buildings are as follow: Studio units in both buildings are located at the far end of the building closer to A1A street. The one bedroom units in both buildings consist of a queen size bed, sofa bed in the living room and bathroom with a tub. The two bedroom units in the North Tower building have queen size bed in both master and guest room and both bathrooms are tubs also have a sofa bed in the living room. In the South Tower building the master bedroom has a king size bed and a garden tub, step-in shower and private toilet, the guest room has two twin beds and the bathroom has a tub, sofa bed in the living room. South Tower one/two bedroom units have washers and dryers inside the unit. North Tower building has washers and dryers on floors 2,3 and 5 to share amongst guests, South Tower studio guests are more than welcome to use North Tower washers and dryers. Both Buildings have partial ocean views trough the balconies due to the structure of the buildings. We hope this information is of help.
