This is my second time staying in this hotel. My most recent stay was in December 2019, which will form the basis of the review. While the hotel was off of I95, we were amazed that you didn’t notice the noise of the highway. One of the best things about this hotel is the fact that there are several restaurants right in walking distance within the parking lot (Chili’s, Applebee’s, Steak N Shake, Denny’s). The breakfast area is small, but we didn’t encounter too many people each morning we went. My husband especially enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. The gym is small with one elliptical, one treadmill, one weight machine, and free weights, but I never encountered it being full when I went to use it. Lastly, the staff is very pleasant, at and very helpful.
The rooms looked like they were upgraded recently as they have a modern look to them. I would recommend that the carpet in the third floor rooms get cleaned.

Any standard Sleep Inn usually gets four stars from me, but the noise level in this hotel is too much. My room was about one hundred feet from I-95 and every fifteen minutes a loud truck or Harley would go by. The traffic was nonstop and very irritating. My room (obviously) faced I-95, perhaps the rooms with an odd # that face parking are acceptable.

This is a DUMP!!! The carpet is nasty! The rooms are nasty & smelled like dead animals after a few days in the summer sun. The pool smelled like a stagnant pond (with the pump running). You may get you room “cleaned” but chances are very high you’ll come back to find it the way you left it. Forgot your black socks. No worries walk around about 10 minutes with your white ones. Then you’ll have black ones. The workout room is a joke. No cleaning equipment to wipe down machines when your finished or when the previous person was finished. You’d be better off finding a used mattress in the land field and sleeping there. Walls very thin, you can join in the conversation with the room next to you. You’ll always know when people around you enter or leave their room because you’ll definitely hear the door slamming. If your within 5-6 rooms of the ice machine you know who’s getting ice and how much. You’ll hear them filling their buckets, bags, coolers or whatever. The guest laundry is available but you better bring a good lighter cause you’ll need it to dry your clothes. Holding them over the lighter will dry them quicker than the dryer will. Nothing like homeless people walking around your vehicles and begging for food or money when going to or coming from your vehicle. Picnic table at the rear of the hotel to sit around talk, eat, smoke or what ever. The table top made of 5 boards, 2 rotten with holes in them.
The positive side; good hot water & water pressure (need it to help knock the funk off of you while walking through the halls and room), very close to decent restaurants mostly within walking distance. Shopping at major retailers very close. The staff was very polite.

The hotel was clean enough and there was nothing wrong with the bed, but be aware of a couple of things. They will actually charge your credit card $100 for incidentals, not a temporary charge, an actual charge. You'll need to get something in writing from them upon checking out to have something to protect your dispute rights if they forget to credit the charge back to your account. Normally, this wouldn't even be cause for alarm, but check out the photo attached to this review. This sheet of paper that we've provided a picture of is posted in every room in the hotel. Oh yeah, make sure you do a walk through with the desk clerk to protect yourself. We got our money back but as you'll see from reviews, others did not.

Have stayed here for the last 12 years going down and coming back from Florida.
Last year I complained about the old and dirty rugs in the stairwells as well as the need for better housekeeping practices for the rooms, rugs not vacuumed properly and bathroom required better cleaning as well as updating. When I put in a formal complaint to Customer Service of Choice Hotels, they assured me this would be dealt with and even said that this particular hotel was in the process of getting the necessary updates it required.
This year I stayed coming back to Canada on March 20th, I was stunned to see that not only had the stairwell rugs not been changed, but the housekeeping was at a bear minimal. Of course, I was even more shocked as the co-vid19 virus was in full progression and yet I could not see extra disinfecting being done anywhere in the hotel. Very, very disappointing. I doubt I will ever stay at this hotel in the futur.

Booked a room for Jeep Beach. Have stayed here several times over the past years. When we pulled in we noticed the bright orange "No Trespassing" signs posted at the entrance....yikes.....The parking lot looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time (empty cans and bottles, trash everywhere). Let's just say our room was gross. When we opened the door, the stench overwhelmed us. Smelled like mold. Went to Walmart and got an air purifier and some spray to get rid of the smell. Carpet was NASTY. Was afraid to walk barefoot. The hallway carpets were also very dirty.....in definite need of cleaning (or replacement). Stayed 4 nights, never saw room service. No clean towels unless you ask for them. We tied up the little trash bag in the small trash can and placed it outside of our door for pick up.
No refill bags given. Needless to say, we scoped out different lodging for next year's trip. Will NOT return to this site.

This hotel was the worst Sleep Inn I've stayed in. The hotel has a musty smell, which continues in the room and the carpets are stained and dirty. The room I stayed in looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while though the beds were made and towels provided dust was piled everywhere. The pillows had an odor to them and the sheets, as well as the bed covering had yellow stains. There was mold all over the lamp shades and the hairdryer had hair stuck to it and the cord was covered in mold and was beyond filthy. There was definitely no following COVID-19 guidelines here. The saying "you get what you pay for" defiantly applies here.

We chose the Sleep Inn Ormond Beach which has a really good rate (8.5) or 4.5 out of 5 rating. But once you get to the hotel, you realize that the rating does not match the hotel. VERY dirty carpet - everywhere - including spots in our room, stains on the walls damaged windows and damaged and disgusting looking shower floor and loose toilet seat was more than what I can express with the word disappointment. I understand that this is a 2- star hotel but the good rating made think that I was getting a good deal for this hotel room and after staying here I think I actually paid too much for it or to be honest I would have not stayed here to begin with. Lesson learned.

DO NOT STAY HERE unless you enjoy filth, odors, and bugs. The room we stayed had carpeting that I made sure I was wearing shoes in order to step on it. FIVE 5 cockroaches were killed once we entered the room. Small room and the shower was confining and just plain weird. Do not be fooled by the outside which looks newer and the pool looked decent also, Moving to the Comfort Inn and Suites by the Daytona Speedway was a much better choice and was about the same price. The interior of this location was awful. Did not take photos since we arrived late and left by 5:30am to get out of there.

Just as long as the People don't like to Stretch Out
and take Their half out of the Middle of the Bed.
