Overall, the staff was really nice. However, some other guests are what gave our stay some issues, so I can't fault the hotel or staff for that. Checkin was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I wish there was a contactless option to open your room from the app so you don't need to use a key, but that's not a huge deal. The breakfast is okay, and had the same items daily. My husband and I are gluten free, and when we asked if there were any options available were told there wasn't (which is fine, we brought food to make for breakfast anyway!). Issues with the breakfast include patrons not socially distancing, getting right up next to you to grab something, and all of the shared surfaces not being regularly cleaned (handles, spoons, buttons on juice machine, etc). We also had issues with smokers on the property- it really ruined our stay at times because we couldn't keep our door open to listen to the ocean. We notified the front desk of the smoking, and they indicated they would take care of it, but I can't say what happened after that. The pool area was cleaned in the mornings, and the limits on amount of people weren't regularly monitored by staff from what I could see. Not a problem, as we utilized the beach. The room was clean, and staff would provide new towels and toiletries daily in a bag outside your door if you declined cleaning/had a do not disturb sign (Which I preferred to limit people coming into our room). The fridge is a good size, and the full size dishwasher and actual plates/silverware were nice to have. Overall, the property is new and the staff were helpful. I think that some additional protocols/measures could be enforced to ensure lower risk of virus transmission (masks for staff, cleaning of shared surfaces more often, actually enforcing the policies in place). I also wish other guests would be respectful, especially in such an uncertain time and with COVID.

Just returned from a week long stay at this hotel and have to say it was mostly very good with a few exceptions. The hotel itself and staff were very nice, location is good. I understand restrictions with COVID and think they are all very necessary but they need to do some better planning. When checking in we were told 8 people max in pool, 2 max in hot tub. I don’t think there was a single time I looked that this was followed. At one point there were 6-8 in the hot tub and 12+ in the pool. Staff was aware but nothing was done. Second issue was staff would not clean your room unless you were there for longer than 5 days. That’s understandable with COVID. We were told to put our trash and linen outside the door each day and it would be taken and new towels and toiletries placed in the door. I had a double queen room with 4 people in this room. There were at least 2-3 days I had to call the front desk and request new towels because we still didn’t have any at 5-6pm. The rest of the days I was given random amounts of linens. Some days 2 towels, some days 3 towels, sometimes no wash clothes sometimes 3, only once did we receive hand towels. Much better planning is needed with this. My last complaint is the bathroom door. A barn door that has no lock?? It creates no privacy especially when there is a large crack on one side of the door and in our room the floor base board stuck out and made it hard to slide the door shut on the other side so you pretty much had a large crack on each side of the door.
They have done an excellent job with providing breakfast since they can’t do traditional continental and the food was actually very good. The beds were nice and comfortable and the kitchenette provided was very useful.
Hopefully management will look into the towel distribution process and maybe figure out a better way because that is not very convenient since most people take showers before 6pm and would like a towel for everyone without having to call and request more.

CLEAN and beautiful property! Perfect oceanfront location on a gorgeous beach. We had an oceanfront balcony which was perfect; came with 2 nice chairs and a small table. Room was very large with 2 queen beds and a pull out full bed, kitchenette with large fridge. AC was cold and the room was spotless and comfortable. This is an extended stay hotel that only cleans the room/changes bedding every 5 days unless you ask. We did ask in between and they were accommodating. Other than that, towels are exchanged and trash is removed daily or on request. Staff are constantly cleaning the lobby and common areas so there is not sand and water being dragged in. Very nice gym area with a few treadmills and weights which I saw people using daily. I did laundry while we were there and the machines were very clean and worked well. Breakfast was still grab and go due to COVID but they offered breakfast sandwiches to heat up in the room, bagels and cream cheese, yogurt, cereal, muffins, ect. Fresh coffee/tea 24/7. The pool area was kept spotless and had adequate lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas for shade. The pool and hot tub were very clean and well maintained. 2 showers to get rid of sand when coming up from the beach and a gorgeous fire pit which people enjoyed at night. They have 2 large gas grills but they were closed due to the pandemic. Beach access from the pool- beach was beautiful and umbrellas and chairs could be rented by a third party for reasonable prices. There are a ton of families so lots of kids. The staff were so kind and helpful. Rose is such an asset to this business and I hope they appreciate her for her service she is so pleasant and friendly and we loved seeing her every day. This is truly a perfect vacation spot for families and we will definitely be back!! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We were looking for a safe getaway as we are elderly and at risk during the pandemic, so we thought we would give this place a try. I am very impressed with Hilton’s partnership with Lysol and the Mayo Clinic in regards to disinfecting and safety protocols. Checkin took a while, but the front desk was courteous and even gave me a late checkout at 1:00 PM. We had an oceanfront studio with a king bed-it had a small kitchen with everything but a stove, so they allowed us to bring an electric skillet. Our room was clean and nicely furnished-no daily cleaning because of Covid, but they did take our trash and switched out towels daily. We sheltered in place, cooking our meals in our room. We had a nice balcony with a beautiful view, and spent a lot of time in the pool and walking on the beach. It worked very well for our needs, and was an excellent value for the price. I have already booked a return trip here for August to complete our summer beach travels. One concern-it would be nice to have larger luggage carts.

This motel was perfect.It took me a day and !/2 of looking to finally book , when I arrived there I realized I picked the perfect vacation motel. This was a last minute booking a week before leaving I booked this motel . I was to check in on a sunday my Aunt who was traveling with me. Hurt her back and did not know when we could leave . I called Motel explained to Rose who assured me everything would be fine just keep in touch with her.which I did. We were able to leave as scheduled. Upon Checking in Late Sunday Night Lashanta was so helpful in telling as all about the covid policies. I myself felt safe in traveling I feel if you do not feel safe stay home and be safe. The Breakfast was fantastic which was a huge savings of 1 meal a day.The room was the best ocean front view of beautiful beach very clean comfortable beds The bathroom was clean nice sink microwave and fridge and balcony to set on. The pool was great along with hot tub and gas fire pit on Patio to set at and here ocean at night.The employees wnt above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. cleaning all the time wiping doors even cleaning sand off steps leading to beach. I loved they had a restroom off the pool area. This small vacation from 6/14th-6/25/2020 was perfect because of this great motel and its employees and the weather was perfect.all though I was told on Thursday my last day that it would be the last day for the free continental breakfast for people complained not following covid policy I myself did not see this they had tables blocked off I felt safe once Again I will say this if you are afraid stay home do not ruin a vacation for other people I hope the breakfast is still running it was awesome. So I give this motel and it's employees 10 stars. This is a lovely property. From the moment we arrived & were greeted by Sydney on Fri. evening with a warm welcome & friendly smile, we were confident we made the perfect choice in Hilton Home 2. Fast forward to Rose (Rosalind) who knew we were changing from an ocean view to oceanfront room on Sat. She took a personal interest in ensuring that housekeeping gave top priority to cleaning our oceanfront room as early as possible and even came to the pool to advise us that the room was ready for occupancy very early on Sat. morning as promised. We were beyond impressed by the ownership she took to exceed our expectations.
During our time enjoying the pool, we had several opportunities to engage in conversation with Tekoya the lovely lady who had responsibility for maintaining the pool & hotel lobby areas. She did a great job of exceeding COVID hygiene protocols, as she was continuously cleaning each & every surface. There was also Gerry who was equally industrious in not only maintaining the pool area, assisting with the gas grills, but could be found all over the property tending to any and everything. The entire staff from the front desk to housekeeping personnel were extremely accommodating and friendly...the was the best hotel experience we can remember in recent years.
We have not ventured out much since the pandemic began, but would not think twice about returning to this property given the high standards that we continuously observed. In fact, we went ahead and booked our next stay (Nov.) before we checked out today. Please keep up the great work...your customer service is second to none!!!

Just a little north of Daytona Beach makes this the perfect spot to slide your toes in the sand. Kitchenette has microwave, dishwasher, toaster, nice size fridge with kitchen utensils and Corning ware. Grilling tools can be borrowed from front desk with poolside bbq that can be turned on at 1:00 pm by request from front desk. Also a nice bonus is a splash pad and playground just a block down the beach. Be sure to keep your parking ticket visible so car doesn’t get towed.

My wife and I have stayed here a few times now and we have been impressed. The hotel is relatively new and the staff appears to be doing an excellent job of keeping it looking that way. Covid precautions are evident from cleaning of rooms as well as public areas. Our observations are that guests and staff are all staying masked inside the building which is reassuring. Front desk staff has been excellent...efficient and very welcoming. A particular shout out to Juliette, who went above and beyond finding us a beachfront room on an upper level. While we are Gold Members my sense is she would have gone the extra mile for any guest. Housekeeping staff have also been great in quickly providing us with refreshed towels and extra coffee when approached in the hall. There was another Hilton property in Daytona we used to frequent but this is our new "go to" hotel in the area.

Had a guest come stay with me for awhile. While they were there they observed the sign on the balcony door that there was no smoking. So they chose to use a vape instead of going downstairs. I shortly after received a rude phone call informing me I was going to be charged a 250 dollar cleaning fee. I had no chance to address this or anything. Totally ruined our experience. I have a worksite in the area and had selected this site to use for my trips when here. I asked to have a manager call me to discuss this but I guess they got my money so I am now a low priority. I have been a Diamond Status Hilton Honors Member for years due to traveling for work so I spend a lot of time in Hilton properties. But I have never been treated like this before.
Prior to this incident we were having a good stay. We were a little disappointed with the long black hairs that were attached to wall of the shower upon our arrival but that was easily corrected.

The rooms are pet friendly. Dogs aren’t allowed on the beach or in the lobby, which I thought was weird.
Hilton’s negligence was the cause of my dog’s death. They refused to take any responsibility for this. Don’t even think of staying there, especially if you are traveling with a small pet. No restaurant, no bar, no heart
