My spouse and I enjoyed a 2 day stay at this hotel during the 4th of July. We had a very clean, roomy king bed in our room. The room had a/c with great cold air, along with a ceiling fan. Which was great after a hot day at the beach. I thought the room was attractive and very clean. The bathroom had a roomy, modern shower. The bathroom even has hooks on the bathroom wall and door so you can hang up items. Upon checkout you are given a list of hotel policies , clearly stating the hotel rules. I think this is one of the reasons why the hotel is so nice. . We can tell the owners take great pride in the establishment. There are no-smoking signs throughout the hotel. As a non-smoker this was great to see. The hotel also has super easy access to the beach with a private code for hotel guests.....so it is secure access coming on/ off the beach. The have a simple, but nice pool with plenty of chairs for sitting. There are also a few picnic tables nearby and the area is nicely landscaped. Every staff person I encountered was very nice and polite.

This is a small family owned vacation spot with the best beach access. The family that runs the hotel became our friends, looking out for our health care with premium service. I was impressed with their thorough cleaning of the hotel including spraying for COVID and using an Ozone machine between guests. The rooms were newly renovated, large and pleasant.

We stayed here on our snowbird migration this year. The hotel has been lovingly restored to its mid-century glory. The rooms are large and very comfortable and the outdoor spaces quaint and very inviting. All that is topped off by an excellent friendly and helpful staff. We loved it so much that I just made plans to stay again on our return trip north. It is very quiet, squeeky clean and on the beach. It is perfect.

We found this hotel by accident. The hotel we had booked was not clean and did not meet our standards. I am so glad we did, great location very clean and quiet. This is an excellent place to stay. No smoking on the property is a bonus for those of us that don't smoke. We will definitely be back.

The kind of Mom & Pop place you grew up staying in at Daytona, if you're a Boomer. Small, very clean, right on the beach. No smoking anywhere on property. Good bed and pillows. Nice clean pool, even in February. Grounds man out hosing wind blown sand from concrete first thing in the morning. Staff was friendly and helpful. So glad these places still exist.

Only stayed one night however, it was a nice restful place to relax. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and oceanfront. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and helped with a good night's sleep that was much needed. before our drive home to NC the next day. Didn't get to enjoy the pool, etc. but it looked fine. The parking lot is adequate and since we came in at 10 pm, the office clerk was kind enough to guide us into a space that was appreciated. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

The family than owns this hotel also manages it, and they were all very caring and attentive to us. They made us feel like we, too, were family, treating us like special guests, and making us feel at home.
The hotel has a pool overlooking the beach and ocean. It was a great location for us. A heron and several cranes were regular visitors poolside.
We will definitely come again, great experience.

OceanFront is a great choice. I stayed 08/07-09/2020 in room 207. This is a 1950's built (originally called Aqua Terrace) motel that has been renovated and nicely maintained. The room I booked was oceanfront with a balcony and was attractive and very clean. It was much nicer than expected and had touches down to a nightlight in the bathroom. There was a stove and kitchen utensils provided. This is a vintage motel, so remember access is by stairs and outside corridors.
Parking is in the courtyard. There is a pool and ample outdoor terraces and a gate with code to the beach. Booking was just a few days before arrival through their website. Check in was easily and well done during Covid through the night window.
I enjoyed my 2 nights there and will happily return. If your budget and their availability allow, consider an oceanfront room. If not, the other rooms are a very short walk across the courtyard to the terraces and beach. It was easy for me to arrive with a takeout pizza and a few deli sandwiches and not move my truck till I checked out.

What a great place. All of the staff was very helpful. When we arrived, the desk attendant saw my husband walked with a walker and came out of the office and helped with our luggage. Very clean, good value too. We even made some great friends at the pool. Perfect in every way.

I read all the reviews on this place and gave it a shot. Yes the room looks and seems clean but I figured out why. It has just been renovated and reeks of caulk, drywall and other unknown odors possibly the ghosts of cigarettes past. I thought we would get used to the smell but as the night wore on it woke me up in the middle of the night with a migraine and I had to put the stupid covid mask on. Wth is the smell in 111? It saturated my clothes and all my luggage. Nice staff and they are trying but air out the rooms after renovating, holy crap man.

There are parts of the beach that cars can drive on but I believe the part of the beach that this motel is on is not for driving. You can always check with the motel to make sure I'm correct.
Volusia County – Greater Daytona Beach Area
Pets are not allowed on the beach in Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach, except for service animals required due to a disability, as governed by the Americans with Disabilities Act. There are links that will explain this further via the internet.
There are however two parks in the Volusia county along the beach where you can bring your dog on a leash. They are Smyrna Dunes Park, south of Ponce de Leon Inlet and Ponce Inlet Park on the North side of the same inlet. However these two parks are very far South if you are planning to stay at the aforementioned Inn. I can not provide you with links
Flagler County – North of Daytona Beach area
Flagler Beach has pet-friendly access, allowing dogs on the beach north of N. 10th Street and south of S. 10th Street. Doggies must be on leash no longer than 5 feet long.
All that is asked in return is that visitors note the signs and remember to pick up after their pet to keep our beaches beautiful. Unfortunately I can not offer you links here at Tripadvisor
You may want to consider this county however it does not have the level of attractions that Daytona Beach area has. It is about 5 – 10 miles North of Ormond Beach. Suggest you look at maps for mileage and convenience.
There are more places to choose from in the Ormond Beach area.
