I always enjoy my stay and the amenities. Sadly, between the traffic, ever growing list of additional fees and rate increases, it’s starting to feel like a Disney resort. Not in a good way though. With what I paid in on-site charges and expenses during my last trip, I think I might just have to consider staying onsite at an actual Disney Hotel. A real shame but it just makes the most financial sense to me with a family. Maybe if I come back without the kids, it would still be a good deal. Maybe.

Hotel's Favourite
This was our 3rd stay here and everything was perfect. The service, the cleanliness, the rooms, the location! You have everything at this site! We stayed at one of the 2 bedroom villas, Tower VI, very spacious and comfortable. Also, they offer great deals and packages. We highly recommend this hotel.

We booked totally last minute to come just after Christmas, after our Thailand trip wasn't possible. Let me start by saying I totally appreciate you don't necessarily come to Orlando for relaxation. And you should expect it to be full of kids. But we chanced it, as the weather was looking excellent and we were all out of options for some winter sun. We were booked into a standard room. Checking in after a 20 hour journey from the UK, the check in staff were totally miserable, no one greeted us to help with cases etc, really made us feel unwelcome. Room was fine, clean, but nothing more than that. It overlooked the pool, which even at 10PM was super loud and busy, so would absolutely avoid a pool room if you can. We were exhausted, so grabbed dinner at the pool bar that first night. Really bad service and poor food, and the atmosphere was just not what we wanted - loud (bad) music, nothing premium about it, and we were left regretting our choice of holiday. Anyway, a new day dawned, we had breakfast at the hotel buffet (which was SO expensive, we didn't realise... $125 for 4 people inc tip for... not much) and then we sat round the pool which again was loud (with a terrible DJ!) and super busy. Again, probably what a lot of people would expect in Orlando. But not what we wanted. So we spoke to Jay the assistant manager. Really nice guy (also from the UK!). We explained it wasn't the holiday we were expecting, disappointing meal/service etc etc. He immediately waived the resort fees for both rooms we had, and removed dinner from the bill. We then got a call the next day from Jay's superior (I forget his name), saying they'd like to move both our rooms to two bed villa's a few days later once available. We accepted, and spent the next few days driving over an hour to the beach everyday to avoid the pool, and looking forward to the change of room. A few days later we dealt with Kelsey who was also super lovely, and moved us to the new villas. What a difference. Honestly like a different hotel. It's a good 7-8 min walk from the main hotel to the villas, different car park etc, surrounded by a nice lake with a boardwalk. The villa's are stunning - really nice, HUGE, balcony, just been renovated, and crucially - so quiet. With their own tranquil swimming pool that gets sun all day (main pool doesn't), no DJ, less noise and just all round relaxing. Also you want to be in villa block 5, on the top floor, as the view at sunset is amazing. So a holiday of two halves. Would we come back again? Not to the main hotel, definitely not. The villas? Yes, but they're expensive if we were to pay for them. Maybe with kids. Thanks to Jay, Kelsey & team for helping to save our holiday.

This was our first Disney family vacation in almost twenty years and wish we didn’t wait so long! This hotel was more than perfect. They had a shuttle to and from the parks (be sure to book in advance). Pool with a huge slide, arcade and yummy restaurants. Something for every member of the family. They were also quick to provide additional pillows and blankets. Would highly recommend!
