Hotel was very pretty, safe, spacious, and you get alot of extra perks for your money. You get free breakfast, 6 pm happy hour drinkw and appetizers, pool area has indoor and outdoor area's and staff are always friendly

Yolanda M. Is the best when it comes to house keeping. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and your stay is pleasant. During New Year's she made sure our room was clean and sanitized, she followed all the CDC standards and made us feel safe while bringing in the New Year. You can tell that she loves her job and puts her heart into it. We wish you well Yolanda and may the New Year pour out many blessings your way.

For the record this hotel has great location and the folks that work there are top notch, did not have a bad experience with any of the employees at all (even when they lost my keys at valet). My overall review of the hotel is that when you book Embassy Suites you expect more than a Hampton Inn but the rooms at this hotel are pretty dated and I just expect more from an Embassy. If I stay at Hampton I expect what I get in a room but the fixtures at this hotel are pretty old, the furniture is circa 1980. The reception at night is nice and the bartenders are attentive. Breakfast was sort of a disappointment as we came down around 7:30a and there was no made to order breakfast yet (I know sounds entitled but I choose Embassy for just that reason) so when we were almost done with what we did eat they started doing the made to order which was a little disappointing. Overall a good stay, great people there and superior location. Get some new decor in the rooms and it’s 5 stars. (If you stand 6’ or more watch your head walking in the shower, I slammed my head twice. You literally have to duck to get in the shower)

This location is usually my go to due to it's close proximity to everything International Drive has to offer. This was my 5th stay at this site and it will be my last. We were not able to check in until 4pm, even though the hotel was at a limited capacity. The room was very outdated with a bathroom that desperately needs fixing up. There was water damage around the tub and behind the toilet. The air works in the front room but it never made it all the way back to the bedroom. Front desk staff was a hit or miss on friendliness depending on the day. The breakfast now is WEAK. I understand that things must change with the COVID times we are in but they could've done more. There are a handful of things to choose from that you are served and then must take back to your room to eat; they could offer more options. Not once did I see anyone wiping down any touch points or high traffic areas and only about half the guests in the lobby and other public shared spaces were wearing masks. I tried to reach out to the hotel after my stay and was met with a very defensive manager. There is another Embassy down International drive that I will be trying next time instead.

I booked my room using Hilton Honors. I notified Hilton Honors reservation taker that I would have a pet, and was told that my points would take care of all costs. When I checked into the hotel I was not notified of a pet fee. Rather, I was told during a phone call after my stay that I was seen on camera with a pet and was charged a pet fee. This hotel has only one entrance, of which my pet and I passed through at least six times during my stay.
Not only did the staff not notify me of any pet fee during my numerous trips passed the front desk, when I called them upon learning of the fee by way of an emailed receipt hours later, I was told rather belligerently that it was my responsibility to be aware of the hotel's policies.
The root cause of this incident likely stems from the Hilton Honors employee misinforming me, but that the front desk staff at his location was both unhelpful and rude does not seem acceptable.

The breakfast, which is not free, but we pay for in our $160/night room rate is a disaster. They eliminated the makde to order omeletter, and that is amn Embassey Suites standard...it is what the hotel chain takes pride in. They now have these previously-frozen looking "omelettes" pre-made. You may have one, and one only. Cheese or wester, and nothing else. They ration the food, and you may only have ten breakfast potatoe little pieces. That is it. Oh, and you may not serve yourself, because you are JUST a guest. They ration it to you and don't let you have seconds. It was worse than a school cafeteria.

The GOOD: Room was nice, 2 beds, separate living room area with TV, Coffee, fridge, and sink. There was a bar, nice lobby with lots of seating, meeting rooms were dated but fine. Lavazza Coffee was good. The BAD: Bar closed at 11pm, and lobby market stopped selling alcohol at 11pm too. We had 11 people still drinking at bar at 11pm, and bartender closed bar. We were there all week for a convention, and they could have made a lot of money off the city-wide groups of people staying there when they came back to the hotel-it would have been a way to provide better service to us as well. The TVs in the room were really bad. The digital cable didnt work, and the analog channels did work, but there werent many channels to choose from. The free breakfast was bad, and they closed it down 20 minutes early 3 of the days I was there. It really wasnt appetizing at all, and it was very spread out. So Iike my title says "not great, but not Terrible either".

We decided to get out of the cold and flew into Orlando with a very late night arrival. Called for the shuttle and it was there in about 5-10 minutes. Driver was very nice. The hotel staff was excellent. They greeted me as a diamond member and checked us in quickly. The room itself was a bit dated and worn but was clean. King bed was comfortable. They had a snack tray with beverages and snacks in the room and refilled it the 2nd day. The breakfast was perfect for us with the usual Ala cart items plus cooked to order omelettes. Great Happy Hour in the evenings. We also ordered a pizza one eve for take to our room from the bar. As we forgot a wine opener the bartender opened it for us with a smile. We would stay here again as we liked the separate room, great service and location was perfect for us. We had a teenager with us and she slept on the sofa bed and never complained. Imagine that! Lol The pool was average and a small hot tub but for us worked fine for our quick 3 day stay.
The only negative for the stay was the elevators where extremely slow going down. You had plenty of time to get to know the other occupants and sight see out these glass elevators as you went to the main floor. :) Also parking is $18 a day here so keep that in mind in you have a car.
I do need to recognize a front desk employee named Karol. She was wonderful to work with even after dealing with a difficult situation right before me. Excellent Customer Service Karol!! :)

The elevators are very old and hardwood floor was broken in one of them plus sounded like it needed service. Our room on the 8th floor had ants near the bathroom sink. The air only worked in the main sitting area and second part where the beds are had no air conditioning. The fans in the bathroom and vent in our room was disgusting and needed to be cleaned badly. Speaking of cleaning and COVID-19 the glamours breakfast was not up to par! No more omelette bar and very limited food option, we had to take our breakfast back up to our room to eat because they closed the dining room area. Plus only had orange juice for the kids which they had other options but only gave us one choice which was orange juice everyday. The coffee tasted burnt. Eating in our rooms every morning probably caused the ants in our room which I cleaned constantly since we had no cleaning service from housekeeping due to Covid. I would have rather stayed in a tent rather dealing with all the nonsense and see ppl milking the use of “COVID-19” rather than giving their customers the high quality of service that they deserve!!!

Utilized Embassy Suites for a one night stay before going on a cruise out of Pt Canaveral and we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The room was a 2 bed studio type with lots of space and a pull out sofa bed. Loved the bathroom set up with a door to seperate the shower/toilet area and the powder room. Very convenient when 4 adults need to get ready.The breakfast buffet and happy hour(530p-730p) were included in the nightly rate. Both were great, breakfast had a huge selection! Would definitely stay here again and would also recommend to others.
