My brother and I decided we wanted to have a little family vacation to Disneyworld for a few nights. We stayed at the Castle Hotel and immediately when I entered the lobby I was "fan girling" over everything. Everything was so pleasant to look it- this hotel paid so much attention to detail and it was noticeable. It really created the perfect vibe for our Disneyworld Vacation. The pool was also beautiful.

This newly renovated boutique hotel is a joy to stay at - a refined Orlando experience. Lovely staff, nice pool with mellow music. Currently a very good buffet breakfast ($16 adults, $10 children) is the only food offered but there is bar service in the antler lounge (with happy hour specials) starting at 5 pm. Many good restaurants within walking distance. Complimentary coffee is available in the morning and hot chocolate in the evening. Two small recommendations to improve the guest experience - adding a soap dish to the shower and another hook to hang up towels and swimsuits. Thank you for a beautiful vacation!

I booked this hotel for my birthday weekend to feel like a princess. I actually felt like a queen! I'm in love with this hotel, I can't believe I have never seen it before. Hands down, this one of the best hotels I've stayed in Orlando.

The location is prefect, next to all the restaurants, Icon park, 10 minutes from Unverisal Studios and 19 minutes from Epcot. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and super clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows as well. It was so hard to get up in the morning.

The shower was awesome, with an overhead rain type shower as well as a separate hand held shower head with great pressure.

I really liked the roof-top terrace with amazing views of I-Drive attractions on the 9th floor.

A special thank you to Christiana for your beautiful smile, and kindness shown while checking me in. I truly loved my surprise with the balloons, chocolate and the hand written card.(she definitely made my night)! Every time you walk into the Hotel by the front desk, you are greeted with a smile and offered great service.

If I could rate it less than 1 star I would. I chose this hotel because it is an Autograph Collection property, which are usually pretty good. Disappointment is an understatement. When our group got to the hotel, the AC was not cooling. Things happen. I called the front desk and they gave us another room. It was already late when we were finally settled in the room, when I noticed a very bad vomit smell on my bed. The other guests in the room were already asleep, so I spent the night on that bed. When we were leaving the hotel the next day in the morning, I mentioned to the front desk that the bed had a bad smell and asked that they change the sheets and comforter when housekeeping comes in the room.

When we got back for the night, the bed still had that horrible smell. Since I could not bear another night like this, I called the front desk and they sent housekeeping. The guy said that they had changed the sheets earlier but he will change them again. When he took out the sheets he noticed that the smell was coming from the mattress. He explained that even if he puts new sheets, the smell would still be there and he also said that they couldn’t change the mattress so the best option would be to change the room. We proceeded to pack up our stuff AGAIN, which was a big inconvenience since we had a lot of things and it was late.

You would think at this point, since the front desk was aware that it was the second time we were changing rooms, we would’ve gotten an upgrade or some sort of compensation. Upon checking out the next day, I again mentioned everything that happened to the front desk. The lady apologized and said that she “had no authority to do anything for us”, and that the manager was (conveniently) in a meeting. She asked us if we wanted to wait 30 minutes for her, but we were heading to the convention center and could not wait that long (we came for an expo there and did not have much time to waste or argue with anyone). Just because we were nice about the whole situation and did not make a big fuss, doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t get the customer service that we deserve. Normally, we should not have been charged for the stay or at least part of it, or something else should have been done to make this stay at least a little better. This was a horrible experience and we will for sure not be coming back to this hotel. I am not sure why they are even part of Autograph Collection and rated a 4-star property, because the décor (especially in the rooms), is very tacky, dark, and not updated. I would not have complained if I booked a 2-star hotel; but this was not the case. The only decent thing that happened over our stay is that upon check-in, the guy at the front desk waived the daily $15 parking fee (not even valet), which they shouldn’t have in the first place since they have lots of space for that. I honestly would not like anyone to lose their job over this; even though the staff was nice, the “not having authority” to do anything for us did not help our situation at all. On top of that, we stayed at a new super updated Fairfield Inn property in the Tampa area, and we were able to make the difference.

I'm a travel agent so I stay at plenty of hotels and I was on vacation a couple weeks ago with my boyfriend for the weekend. I love that the hotel is close to icon Park Orlando. Front desk was very friendly, the bar was closed unfortunately due to covid-19. hotel room seemed very clean we got there around 5 so we wanted to go out for the night so we went out right away to icon Park didn't arrive back to the hotel until around midnight. When my boyfriend laid on the bed there was a car toy right behind his pillow! I called the front desk immediately informing them that the we found a kid's toy underneath our pillow and we obviously don't have children and lucky the front desk representative moved us to a different room right away. it's still shocking that we found a kid's toy in our bed! Obviously the bed was not properly clean by the housekeeper's. when I checked out I figured they would give us some kind of discount but they charged full price. I didn't bother to ask for a manager because I was in a rush to head back home because my boyfriend had to work that evening . I have been to many hotels in my life and never have had this happen. Just make sure to check your bed when staying here!

Marriott should be embarrassed to have this hotel in their Autograph Collection, let alone have their name associated with this hotel. It’s by far the worst Marriott brand place that I’ve ever stayed. The place is not in a bad location. It’s an 8 minute ride to Universal Studios, & there a lot of restaurants nearby. The outside looks appealing as you drive up but once inside, you can tell it’s dated. The lobby is nice looking but the rooms are horrible. The hotel is very dark & not well lit. The rooms are small. The two beds has different blanket coverings on them. The bathroom has no storage drawers & the shower faucet was old, dinky, & had no pressure. They don’t give complimentary water like any other Marriott does & it was like pulling teeth trying to get extra pillows & towels for the room (bc of covid, they aren’t doing daily cleaning service). When we talked to the front desk about nothing here meeting the expectations we had based on other Marriott stays, we were told “well it’s a franchise”. Would not stay here again.

During January I stayed weekly at this property. For the most part it was a great stay and each visit. However on my fourth visit to the property after being upgraded by no choice for an extra $36 a night to still a double bedroom but they said it was the corner see if the pay more. That aside I don’t care. What I cared about was on my fourth day I requested a freshen up of linens and replenishment of bath amenities. After working a 12 hour shift at the airport I returned back to the room to find none of that stuff taken care of. I requested that in the morning their housekeeping on the app and it was confirmed. When I texted the front desk via the app they said they would address it. Nothing ever happened. So I’m not staying at another property elsewhere. I am in a elite member With Marriott. I travel 4 to 5 days a week staying in Marriott hotels. Then you’re charge $20 a day for parking and good luck trying to find a spot. I had to park and Jason hotel next-door and worry about being towed.

I did enjoy stay here in a nice upgrade to the N/S King Suite due I am a Titanium Marriott Bonvoy Member however, the mattress and bed sheets and blanket need to be change and I am highly recommend use follow Marriott Standards Autograph Collections bedding packages and I like the new autograph collection white thicker comforter and bed sheets. The furniture was ok. The staff seems so nice and helpful take care of my requests prior I arrived and I believe she is probably ones of manager or supervisor on duty. I am highly recommend to this hotel need to renovation replacement new mattresses and bedding packages to be similar as new Autograph Collections bedding packages. I also am highly recommend the AC Temperature units need to be change better new upgrade due it was an old. I also am disappointed the Restaurant due renovation and club lounge and I heard that the Restaurant will be open next month.

I have to give this hotel a great review.

Starting with checkin, the agent was wonderful and made sure I had what I needed, including a glass of wine! I greatly appreciated this, and I also like that they recognize your status with Marriott. It is becasue of Marriott that I booked here.

The room was super clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom spotless. Greatly appreciated.

What I appreciated even more was that in January, the pool was heated to a very warm, comfortable temperature. I hate when hotels say the pool is heated, and they consider heated to be 75. This pool was well over 80.

The bar was also enjoyable. I had a drink and dinner there one night, and the bar tender was very friendly and the food was excellent. I wouldn't mind returning!

Thank you for having great service during these ever lingering covid times. My only complaint was that my room wasn't made up, and I didn't realize you had to ask. I think that should be clear at check in.

Good job, Castle Hotel. See you again in March.

We stayed here for 4 nights and absolutly loved it!! Its only 10 mins from the universal parks which was great because we got taxis as it wasnt expensive at all. The pool and jucuzi are amazing and there open till 11pm which is ideal for a late night swim after a long day. The room was spotless, couldnt fault it. They even have free biscuits for guests in the evening! Would defo recommend this hotel and i would 100% stay here again. Loved every second being here.

There were daily parking fees. Since we flew in & Ubered, I am unsure of what the daily rate was. Also not sure last time it was renovated, but they were working on things when we were there in April. The lobby area was nice, but the rest of the hotel was not. That was my family’s opinion, anyway.
