My husband and I have been driving to Florida and staying at Marriott Residence Inns along the way, and one Fairfield. Downtown Orlando was, by far the best. First, we got upgraded to a two bedroom which was a luxury, with two bathrooms! The unit was extremely spacious and comfortable and one bathroom had a large shower and one had a bathtub. I love having a bathtub to soak in. While many hotels have provided few toiletries, that was not the case here. I love the little packets of make-up remover and getting little bottles of lotion. Plus, they give you sanitizing wipes to us for extra sanitation. But, the unit was spotless! The breakfast was a full one with many options and one could eat in the dining room or take a bag to go. The staff is very helpful and friendly and we were greeted by a fellow New Hampshirite! The only small drawback is that you have to pay for parking, about $15.00 per night. Still, I HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

I spent two nights at The Residence Inn Orlando Downtown. From check in to leaving, the staff were friendly, helpful and committed to excellence. My suite was lovely and well appointed. There is road noise, but it did not disturb my sleep. The beds are comfy, the water hot, the parking garage convenient and safe($15 a day for parking) and the keys actually work every time. A plentiful take away breakfast is served from 6:00-9:00am each morning with COVID protocols observed. Thanks, Residence Inn for a great stay!!

Mechanical problems late at night & two small dogs, Residence Inn was the perfect choice! The Staff and Accommodations were Excellent! A great night sleep in a fresh clean room with a cozy bed was much needed after a stressful day! The next morning we were greeted and welcomed to share our travel story. Joey the Sales Director called his local personal mechanic and got us in right away - his mechanic made us a priority and on our way in 2 hours we went. Joey even checked in on us later that evening to assure our safe arrival home! Hospitality at it's BEST is what you will find at The Residence Inn on Orange Ave. in Orlando! Thank you!

The hallway on the 5th floor smelled of marijuana 5pm in the afternoon and this went on for a least an hour. It was obvious it was coming from a guest room, storage or housekeeping room. The last time I checked it was illegal to smoke in this hotel cigarettes or marijuana. Unacceptable and this went on without the hotel batting an eye. The room was not very clean. Items and trash and food were found from the previous occupants. The "do not disturb" sign was on our door however that didn't stop the housekeeper from walking in on us. She did not even knock. Housekeeping 101 - do not walk in on a guest. I suggest management retrain their housekeepers or you will routinely receive bad reviews.

A convenient, if noisy location for a hotel. Ask for a room that does not face I-4, otherwise you will hear traffic all night long. Breakfast was a real disappointment. The very same food/drink, every day, every day. No variation and worse, no freshness.Mostly pre-packaged sandwiches, rolls, muffins, bagels, etc. of low quality and high sodium content.A responsible parent would never feed such processed food to their children. Ironically, the hotel is staffed by a large, friendly group of Latinx folks, who themselves were embarrassed about what management asked them to serve for breakfast. Given the fine culinary traditions of Latinx culture, this was a true absurdity.Buy some fresh ingredients and let the talented staff use their gifts.

Dear ronaldn802, I do apologize for the issues of noise during your stay and in a downtown location, sometimes it does get loud. Some days are worse than others and I am sorry that you had one on the loud side. Regarding breakfast, we are adhering to corporate Marriott breakfast standards 100%. We are not given the opportunity to make adjustments to such, however we do rotate menu options daily with the constant being fresh scrambled eggs each day. We do hope that you give us a second try the next time that you are in town.

First they upgraded me to a two bedroom suite when they saw I was traveling with my kids without me having to ask. Location was clean, beautiful and updated. And they had free breakfast in the morning. It is also located steps from Orlando downtown tourist, bars and nightlife. A+ in my book. And with the incredibly friendly staff they deserve a top pick however, my kids forgot their favorite blankets at the hotel and despite a call to them and the promise of a callback, I still haven't received a call 3 weeks after. No bueno!

Where can I start? Terrible location. There isn't a single place to eat in about 2 miles. Neither a coffee shop. Or a pharmacy. Hungry? eat a pillow. Forgot your toothbrush? use your finger. Smelly rooms. Room service happens once every 3 days, so if you're there for 2 days better bring extra towels and learn how to make your bed. Avoid at all costs.

Came for the premier league game with the family. Was here for one night. Despite other reviews, we didn't find it noisy or loud and we had a room on the freeway side of the building. The pool was good and the beds were comfortable and the room was clean and updated. Only slight complaint was that the breakfast room was crowded and relatively small. They had also run out of silverware by 8:30. But otherwise a good stay. It's not right next to the downtown area but if you can walk a mile you can walk there without any trouble at all. Sidewalks are wide and seems generally safe even when walking back at 11pm with kids. Parking was also easy to get.

The space is perfect for those who need two separate bedrooms, a living room, and a full kitchen!! Very fair price for a busy time/summer break. Clean! LARGE! We asked for cleaning (and had the tag on door) with a few new towels and didn’t get either. Not sure what that was all about, (but we’d needed due to elderly travelers). Centralized location right off highway, BUT, there is a local gang(?) of motorcyclists that drag race ALL. NIGHT. LONG. It was unbelievable.

Dear Pikapril, I do apologize for the noise issues you had from street noise during your stay. We do our best to try to put guests away from the street as much as possible but being a downtown location, that tends to be difficult when we are full. Please accept my sincerest apologies and hope that the next time you are in town, you will give us a second chance to make it right.

I selected this location as price and reviews consistently good. Good parking,, currently some construction on adjacent roads, over weekend no noise. I had a room on fourth floor facing courtyard, modern building very clean. Breakfast was better then most resident inns, Nice selection of fruit , something for everyone.
I would stY again. Front desk staff very helpful, I think well managed facility.

LsNE33, thank you staying with Marriott. I am unsure from your question why the hotel you have reserved doesn't have a pool, however, there are two reasons why this may occur. The first one would be the hotel has a pool but it is closed for renovation or maintenance. In this case the hotel will typically have a plan in place to accommodate guests who request access to the pool. This is would normally involve an agreement to allow guest use of another nearby hotels pool. This would be a typical scenario, but each hotel and market is different and this may not be the case in New Orleans. Anytime a hotel features an amenity and it is not available to guests for renovations, or other reasons, you should inquire with the Front Desk to see what options are available to you. All we ask is your understanding in these situations as sometimes things do happen that are out our control, and while we never like to say no to a guest request, the options available may be limited. The other reason would be there simply is no pool at the hotel you reserved. In this case the hotel most likely will not have an agreement in place as it is not an amenity they offer and it appears they have notified guests of this advance of their arrival. However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't ask, there maybe other options available to you. I hope this little bit of insider information helps. Enjoy your stay in New Orleans and be sure to come visit us at the Residence Inn by Marriott Orlando Downtown if your travels bring you to Downtown Orlando. David Goodermote General Manager If

Ask the hotel about shuttle? You can use their toll free phone line and speak with their super helpful front desk. Alternatively, Taxi/ride share? We had excellent service using Uber. Good luck!
