The Avanti International Resort garners mixed reviews, with its prime location on International Drive being a highlight for visitors seeking nearby attractions and dining options. However, some travelers have reported disruptive noise levels from various sources within the resort, including the pool area, which offers entertainment but has been criticized for cleanliness and costly bar service.
While there are mentions of helpful staff, experiences with service are inconsistent. Room conditions are frequently described as unclean and outdated, causing dissatisfaction among guests, alongside concerns over value due to unexpected charges.

Stayed here for 2 days on a trip to Orlando with my 7 year old daughter. Before booking please realize that there are actually TWO sister properties called Avanti which aren't far apart on International Dr. I made the mistake of plugging in the wrong one and wasted 20 minutes of my life waiting in line to be redirected to the correct one just up the road. Upon arriving at the right place I was warmly greeted by Franklin who checked us in, gave us our keys, wifi code, gave us a brief rundown, some breakfast vouchers, and had us on our way quickly. Masks were worn throughout the property and sanitizer was readily available which was much appreciated.
The room and the property itself is a little on the older side but everything was reasonably clean. Our room had comfy beds, a generous amount of pillows, huge TV, and ice cold air which was most appreciated. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was great.
One of the biggest draws for this resort was the distance to attractions in Orlando. Though we didn't do Disney on this trip, it's location puts you within striking distance of many restaurants, parks, and attractions. Wifi worked fine but you had to reconnect through a portal every time you left and returned to the property which was slightly annoying. Our room was in Building 1 which was near the pool. Staying on ground level, however, gives you the added benefit of parking just a few feet from your room. This makes it easy to load/unload or minimize getting soaked during a downpour.
The main draw for my young daughter and I was the pool and it didn't disappoint. There's a small hot tub, poolside bar, volleyball court, and kids pool section too. There were plenty of towels and we were pleased to see the place wasn't completely overrun.
The Breakfast vouchers were for one pastry and regular coffee from the poolside cafe, maybe a yogurt too. I stood in line in frustration as one guest and his family had a disagreement with the barista over what this actually should have entailed. My daughter and I eventually left and grabbed breakfast at Denny's.
This resort, like many others in Orlando, show their age with a little cracked paint, worn fixtures, and the like but if you take this into consideration before booking it won't be a problem as the price point is reasonable. Avanti IMO is somewhere between a budget resort and mid range hotel. I would stay here again if it were just me and my kid again but my wife would've paid more for upscaled amenities.

Needed one night stay before checking into our villa. Rooms where clean but very basic, Pool area was nice enough although we didn’t use it, we where given a breakfast voucher but told in the diner area it was only valid for certain items so our breakfast bill was $65 for ok fast food style breakfast . Check in / out was easy enough. Only main niggle was all the rooms are in out buildings so once you check in you have to drive to your block find a space and lug your luggage around, we where in block 4 on the top floor, after a 9 hour flight and landing at close to midnight could have done without searching for our rooms in the dark with two children but apart from that it was ok, personally wouldn’t recommend staying here for 2 weeks just because of how basic the rooms where.

Large property was super convenient to trolly line for easy access to restaurants, shopping, convention center and more. While it is an older property, it was clean. When we had a clogged sink, the maintenance team was on it in less than 15 minutes! That’s amazing service. This hotel does not offer daily full room clean,(can add for an additional fee), we felt the refresh service was adequate. We looked through the online specials and found one that included free breakfast. The food was fresh and we appreciated the choices included. The heated pool was a proper bonus. Loved that our room was flooring, and not carpeted.

On the plus side the pool was heated and warm. The location is perfect near Icon park. For breakfast there is a Denny's across the street. You can schedule a shuttle to take you to the theme parks.
The room I was in faced the parking lot which is better than the rooms facing the highway. It is best to select a room in buildings 1 or 2 facing the pool. Building 4 is surrounded by parking lots. The back of building 3 faces the highway and should be avoided. The room was a good size at 11'8" x 26'5". The air conditioning and heat worked once we realized the thermostat on the wall wasn't connected to the through the wall packaged terminal unit. You have to set the mode and temperature on the unit-mounted control panel. The room had a microwave oven and a refrigerator.
The floors were not clean or cleaned during our stay. The bathroom was cultivating black mold and layers of grime. The shower stall and sink were not cleaned during our stay. The mirror needed replaced. The bed frames needed cleaned.
The hair dryer was wall mounted and would not reach into the shower room so we couldn't get the shower room warm. The shower room has a loud ceiling fan that will prevent the room from getting warm by running the shower. The shower stall has a short piece of glass separating it from the toilet. The glass is too short and water will run off your elbows onto the floor in front of the toilet.
The biggest concern to watch out for was that the bill was 12 to 30 dollars per day higher than what our reservation indicated. Expect to pay these hidden / non-disclosed fees.

We stayed at Avanti for 2 weeks whilst taking our son on his first Florida parks trip and first visit to the USA. I booked Avanti because it seemed like it had good reviews, was central to all of the parks and was reasonably priced on balance when comparing to other options. On reflection that’s pretty much exactly what it was. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and that continued throughout the 2 weeks we stayed, the staff were all brilliant perhaps with the exception of a couple of the staff at breakfast. We had a drink and a breakfast item included in our package but on occasion it was a bit of a negotiation with the servers about what we could have. I would say the people on the concierge desk were brilliant, they always remembered my name, the guy on the front door was great too. We didn’t spend much time at the hotel, the room was a good size, a bit worn in places but a brilliant base for our theme parks holiday. The beds were comfortable and the air con worked well which were our main priorities for the room. The Wi-fi worked well. The pool was nice but we didn’t spend more than 30 mins in there because we were at the parks most of the time. The hotel is partnered with universal so the transport there was brilliant, Disney is a bit less frequent but fine as long as you remember to book 24 hours in advance. The Disney busses were at capacity often so we needed to stand up a few times. The bus journey isn’t too far to any park though. The local area had plenty of restaurants within walking distance and a pirate crazy golf across the road. Weekends got busy at the hotel but midweek was very quiet. Overall Avanti was great value for money and a good choice for our trip.

We stayed at the Avanti Hotel for 6 days. Overhaul stay was ok.
Pros: Room has no carpet. Lots of counter space. There is a mini fridge, micro wave, coffee maker in the room.
Pool area is great and it is open until 11:00pm. There is also an outside bar. Lots of chairs available. Towels available near the pool. The washroom in that area is super clean.
There was also a breakfast included with our booking. Which you can pick up at the lobby or near the pool area. (You need to pick up your breakfast voucher at the check in first). It’s a Starbucks / small cafeteria.
Location of the hotel is perfect, its on the International drive close to restaurant. (Olive Garden, The Miller, Hooters, etc).
Cons: Check in is super slow.
Room wasn’t the cleanliness room. Keep your sandals on in the room, because I’m not sure that the floors are getting wash a lot. There was a dead bug on the bathroom floor and it stayed there the whole time. (I didn’t picked it up just to see if they were cleaning). I though because we where in the US and not in Cuba that the room was going to be clean as any usual hotel in US or Canada....that’s not the case. The toilet / shower area is really small, but There is renovated rooms that have a bigger space. We were supposed to get a pool view in the renovated building, which we didn’t get. We got the pool view but not in the renovated building.
Each morning around 7:00-7:30 the pressure washer will wake you up if you have a pool view since they are cleaning the pool early in the morning.
Once you get there they charge you around $13 per night for service charge?
The whole time I was there our room was only being clean late during the day. Not a problem for us, but might be for people who wants to go out to eat early.

This was a very nice place to stay but the managing of the hotel is what needs a huge overhaul. I arrived at 9:00 at night after spending the day travelling. Couldn't wait to just check in and go get something to eat. They had no room available for me. They asked me to have a seat and wait while they looked into "flipping" a room. I waited for half an hour before I went back up to desk to see what was going on. The front desk staff seemed very confused about what they were doing. They had to keep going into the back to check with a manager. I've never had this happen before in a hotel. By 9:00 at night, there should be a room available. I waited until 9:45. While staying there I talked to multiple people who had the same issue and in some cases had to go stay at another hotel. While I was waiting for my room, I saw numerous people come up to desk to complain about keys not working, no toilet paper in room, and one man said that he went to check in to his room and someones bags were already in there!
The room was nice, tv was large, pool area was wonderful and the bar and staff were nice. One morning at 9:00 am housekeeping gave a tiny knock and walked into my room while I was still in bed. There is a lock that I had on but it wasn't a chain lock that prevented him from coming in. I didn't feel very safe after that. Housekeeping then didn't return until 5:30 at night when I was getting ready to go out.
When I returned to my room at 1:00 am after going out, I noticed that 2 of the rooms beside me had the doors open. They appeared to be empty. I assume they were cleaned and doors left open so they knew they were available? Not a good practice as animals or even people could enter into these rooms at night. It didn't make me feel very safe.
Upon checkout I went to desk to pay cash for my resort fees. The gentleman who helped me had no access to cash so had to ask another lady to do it. This was Nanette, who seemed to be the only one who could do anything. The other desk clerks kept asking her for help so she could never give anyone one on one attention. I paid for my fees and she had to go into the back and get my change and was gone for 5 minutes. This should have been way easier. The desk staff were all very nice and friendly, but none of them really seemed to know what they were doing and they were all confused. Also I should have had breakfast with my room and I didn't receive any coupons for it which I didn't realize until I left.
I would stay here again for the location and the pool, but something really needs to be done with the management and organization of this hotel. Hotel guest safety is number one and I always felt nervous in my room that someone could walk in at any time.

Stayed a full week! This place is in the middle of renovations & has the potential to be a fabulous retro style hotel. Brilliant idea - they have installed vinyl flooring!! Restaurants, shops, pharmacies and some local hot spots are all within walking distance. Amusement parks are all within a short drive plus this hotel offers limited shuttle services. Poolside bar, heated pool, plenty for the kiddos and a nice snack bar with basic groceries & sundries. Starbucks in the main lobby. Our only complaint was the lack of housekeeping services. For some reason the cleaning staff feels the only need to make beds, empty trash and provide fresh towels. The did not clean the tub, toilet, sink or floors for the entire week!
Overall I would recommend this to anyone and will definitely stay there again.

If you are thinking about booking your business event at Avanti, do yourself a favor and please do! This resort is beyond incredible. My company chose Avanti to host our annual conference of more than 150+ people, and could not have been impressed/ grateful to have made this decision. The sales team (Debbie, Jeylyn, and Lianna) went above and beyond to meet our groups needs, including providing gift baskets for our entire staff upon arrival, and surprising us with a mini picture booth for our guests on the last day. I was given the pleasure of working with Debbie for 3 months leading up to the event, and am extremely grateful for her diligence, patience, and overall hospitality.Â
I also want to shout out the amazing catering and cleaning staff (Lina, Dondre, Octavio, Flavio, Jose, Jorge, Rosalba, Rosa MarÃa) who throughout the entire event we’re incredibly kind and attentive to our needs. Their kindness was an extra special touch that made us more happy to have chosen the Avanti for this event.Â
Our guests genuinely enjoyed the rooms, pool, and the hospitality of the staff at Avanti- and we are so grateful to have had this event here!

Pulled up and super impressed it’s so nice! It has everything you need and a great location! The room is a decent size with lots of storage. The issue is they don’t clean them properly. Each corner had lots of dirt in the bathroom and long black hair so they don’t really do the floors. They have no carpet so you would think the bedroom area is cleaner than carpet but the floor is dirty. Nobody came to clean our room or bring towels and even my neighbours asked me if anyone is coming. It’s really a shame it’s very nice here but if my room is dirty and no house keeping it makes a huge difference. It’s 5:30pm and no house keeping anywhere so unfortunately I would never stay here again and glad it was only for a couple of days
