The Conrad Orlando hotel garners admiration for its immaculate rooms, which are widely regarded as clean, modern, and spacious, although there have been occasional mentions of maintenance and cleanliness issues. Guests have called out the hotel's vibrant atmosphere and extensive amenities, such as the lagoon and dining options, as highlights of their stay. Service at the hotel is generally seen as professional and attentive, but some guests have reported inconsistencies, especially with housekeeping and valet services. While the hotel's location is celebrated for its proximity to parks and leisure activities, reviewers warn that the hotel's pricing may be steep, questioning the value for the cost.

Let me start off by saying that this is not a negative review. Actually I’d stay here again in the future once the hotel has found its groove. The entire resort/Evermore grounds are immaculate! Whoever developed the property did an amazing job of creating a truly unique vacation experience in the middle of Florida. The best part about staying at the Conrad is that you also get to enjoy all the Evermore amenities. This is honestly the only justification for staying here in my opinion.

I am a AMEX Platinum and Hilton Diamond member and my family is accustomed to high end lodging (other Conrads, JW Marriott, Waldorf, Intercontinental, etc.) but something about this property was just not the same as others. For starters, it feels as if the overall build was maybe rushed. I saw signage already peeling, drywall already cracking, door knobs missing, and floor tiles coming up. The fridge in our room had some kind of phone jacks in it like someone just threw some extra pieces in there and forgot about them. Apparently they are still working to complete the hotel because in the morning I heard power tools while sitting on the balcony.

The other complaints are just small nuances that weren’t major but just still kinda got under my skin. There is a big table with two chairs in the middle of the room. The shower door and toilet bay door slam very loudly and could use some soft close hinges. The bottom seal on the shower door scrapes the ground and just moves the towel out the way instead of going over it so you won’t step on the floor with wet feet.

The major problem during our stay was that we only got housekeeping once. We left for breakfast and came back 2hrs later, no housekeeping. Left to enjoy the pool for 4 hours, no housekeeping. It wasn’t until I finally spoke to a supervisor that we received housekeeping at around 8pm. It just seemed like the ball was dropped somewhere in that department. Other than that, everyone at the hotel was beyond nice!

One of the staff members mentioned that the property was only at about 50% capacity so it was nice not having to fight for a lounge chair at the pool and beach. Overall I’d stay here again in the future once they’ve worked out the kinks.

We stayed here during Memorial weekend. It may just be THE BEST new family resort in Florida. The Conrad Orlando is part of the Evermore Orlando Resort complex (beautiful luxury rental homes in a resort setting, great for family reunions/events). This place is amazing for families and felt like you were somewhere in the Caribbean. While It is only a 10-15mins drive to Walt Disney World, there is enough in the property to stay put. And we were happy to do so.

The service was top notch from arrival to departure. Due to our Hilton Diamond status, we were upgraded to a Lagoon view guest room with a balcony, received $50 food and beverage credit per day.

We loved their arrival lounge where you can change/shower upon arrival/departure. We took full advantage of it and got there early on arrival day and left late on our departure day. We spent our days kayaking, paddle boarding, going down the family water slide, jumping off their rope swing, taking part in the Evermore family activities, listening to live music by the pool, or laying around in one of their several beaches along the 8-acre Crystal Lagoon.

We also tried two of their restaurants and both were amazing. The Papaya Club near the lagoon during the day, and their rooftop restaurant, Ceiba, at night (we even got to see the Magic Kingdom and Epcot fireworks from the restaurant). Ceiba claims to have the largest selection of Agave Spirits and we did try two phenomenal tequilas during dinner.

There were other amenities and activities throughout the complex we did not use or take part in. Gives us another reason to go back I guess. They had an outdoor movie night, Jack Nicklaus' signature 18-hole Grand Cypress golf course, pickleball courts, a really nice spa, fitness center, and group classes. For those wanting to go the parks, they have a free shuttle that can take you there.

The only minor inconvenience I can point out was that the lounges by the various beaches got occupied pretty early in the day. They were at capacity by 10am on both days we were there. We managed to find a few chairs to put our stuff down close enough to the Conrad beach so it was not a big deal. It also took a long time to get the kayaks or paddle boards. From my understanding, this past weekend was the busiest they have been since opening. So I can understand they may have not anticipated this or may not be used to handling the volume of guests that were there. Hopefully they will figure out a way to address those issues as time goes by. I can see this place continuing to increase in popularity and volume as the word gets out.

Decided to use our Hilton Honors points for a 2-night stay at this hotel. We're supposed to have a Nature View 1-King Bed Room for our points but got upgraded to a Deluxe Room, same view/side but with balcony. We were offered to upgrade to a Pool/Lagoon View 1 King Bed Room, with Balcony, for an extra $$$, we just took it and can say it's all worth it.

Staying at this hotel gives you access to Evermore Resort and that's one of the reasons why we stayed here.

Overall, it was a relaxing and chilling weekend. It was raining so we're not able to swim in the lagoon (which is actually a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig swimming pool). We just wanted to check out the place and it has a making of a very busy place come summer.

The hotel is relatively new. I think it officially opened back in Jan 18 and it's clean and pristine.

Service is great, front desk, bellman services, housekeeping, room service and of course, dining.

We're not able to get to our room immediately and walked around to look for coffee. Little Spoon, their grab and go option is already closed (2:30pm). But a dining staff from one of their bars/restaurants, Apero, gladly made one for us.

It Really Matters Where You Stay... and will recommend this hotel in a heartbeat.

I cannot tell you how hard they are trying but one thing they’ve got to learn is housekeeping turns the deadbolts out and then they open and close the door 10 times letting it slam; over and over…this happened in the afternoon after we came back from the pool and tried to rest. I went over knocked on the door. The deadbolt was out and Housekeeping came to the door so I know it was actually them. They did not speak any English so I pointed to the deadbolt into my ears and showed her how it would slam shut and what it would sound like she just smiled, so I called the front desk and let them know that they really needed to provide some education for their housekeeping staff in a 5 star want to be hotel. Then I got a call from the Housekeeping supervisor telling me that it wasn’t them… It was engineering!!! So Housekeeping actually placed blame when I watched Housekeeping come to the door engineering was not in the room and then it happened again in the evening and Housekeeping was 100% to blame. They will not take responsibility for allowing their housekeepers to turn deadbolts and let the doors slam Over and over again, it is beyond me. What could be going in and out that many times for when you’re trying to rest in a hotel and you’re spending that much money!
Then when we came back from dinner and they were doing turndown service housekeeping was doing the exact same thing they had the deadbolt out and they were opening and closing, and letting the door slam. The hotel is nice, new comfortable. The food is definitely overrated and overpriced. The lagoon is starting to already show signs of wear as it is filthy dirty around the edges. It is starting to mold, and there was all kinds of scum. This property is not taking care of like a Disney property would be. It’s more like an Omni or a Hilton Bonnet Creek where the pools are just covered in scum and actually the main pool looked pretty good. It’s the lagoon that has scum buildup. They did not clean it.
There was one person at the pool on Memorial Day not able to keep up with drinks or food service. If there were more, we did not see them. We saw one gentleman a couple of ladies, but they were not actually helping with food or beverage service. We were told they were shortstaffed.
They have a candy bar in one of the small shops, which is definitely not big enough to accommodate anybody wanting breakfast that does not want to go to a sit down restaurant. The line was 15 people outside the door and it is extremely slow. They had two people working, but what I wanted to say about the candy bar is they let little kids go and open all the jars they’re touching everything. It was absolutely disgusting and they cannot see it from where the register is so the staff has no clue that children are opening and closing the candy jars and sticking their hands in them. Yuck!

We stayed for two nights at the Conrad Orlando very close to it's opening and found that there were definitely some kinks to work out.
The hotel itself is beautiful (although very loud in public areas such as the lobby and restaurant) with plenty of amenities to keep both adults and children entertained. The staff are enthusiastic and seem to mean well, however, that is where the positives end.
The front desk does not explain anything about the resort, you are left to figure it out yourself. After we left, we discovered that the amenities promised as part of the resort fee were never delivered.
The biggest issue we had was with the staff walking in on us on the second day. In the morning, a cleaner knocked and came in without me having a chance to respond. I sent her away and turned on the do not disturb indicator. Then, about half an hour later, what appeared to be a supervisor did the exact same thing. Then I received a phone call asking me who I was and why I was in the room. I explained that we had the room booked for an additional night. I then left the room for the afternoon and left the make up room indicator on. When i returned, the room had not been cleaned. After the earlier issues, I just let it be and my wife and I settled in for the evening (with the do not disturb back on). Late evening, another of what appeared to be management walked into our room, advised that he thought it was empty and was inspecting it and walked back out.
We were fortunate that we were fully clothed every time they came in or this would have been a much bigger issue.
Unfortunately, despite the beautiful facility, I cannot recommend this hotel (and will not return) until I can see from reviews that they have figured out their systems and will actually respect their guests privacy and security

We stayed at the new Conrad Orlando at the Evermore resort in mid February, when they just opened for couple weeks. The Lagoon is beautiful and the surrounding area was peaceful and feels like we're in tripical island, I really love it just as I expected. The Conrad hotel however, not so much. I am gold member Hilton and typically as part of the benefit, they will offer upgrade upon availability. I don't see much guests at the time and we checked in an hour earlier, so there should be some availability. The front desk person didn't even offer me upgrade room, so I asked. But he said the only room that would be available in few hours is the room without balcony. I did not want to lose balcony, thinking that we will sit out enjoying the lagoon. But when we got to our room, they put us in the farthest part of the building on 2nd floor with a view of parking lot and constructions. What a great way to invite your loyal member! And to add to our disappointment the TV kept restarting itself every 15 minutes while we're watching movie. Couple times the power went out, and TV wont restart. Called front desk and they said they're sending someone, no one came. I told a worker who passed by our room, and he said he's calling engineer, but still no one came. It was rainy day so we couldn't go outside either. All facilities of this resort are outdoor, so we cannot do any activities during rainy day. The hotel didn't have any fun things during rainy day for their guests. My 10 year old was not happy. We usually stay at Disney resorts and they always have stuff to do for kids rain or shine. So the outage and TV were our last strike. We tried dinner there as well, food was over priced with less quality. And we had to do valet for $50/night as there's no other option. I spoke to the front desk upin check out and she said the manager will call me and try to make things right. But of course it's been more than a week and no one calls me. I've stayed at Conrad worldwide and this is the worst experience. I'd give Evermore resort another chance and stay in one if their Villa BUT not at Conrad. I'd not recommend for anyone to stay at Conrad, it's waste of your money. If you want to wnjoy the lagoon, might as well stay at the Evermore Villa. I rated this 2 solely because of they beautiful Lagoon. If its not because of that, it would be 0 if it's possible.

While we are pleased you enjoyed our lovely lagoon and appreciated our idyllic setting, it is sincerely disappointing to learn that your experience fell short of expectations. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused by the power outage and TV, and know our team is working to prevent an instance such as this from occurring again. The hotel location and the property it is on are beautiful. No complaints whatsoever in that department.

Upon arrival, I inquired where I could self park, the valet told me that it is valet parking only. I was not happy with this but went along with the status quo.

The valet attendant parked my car near in a location that caused some type of reclaimed water or chemical to etch into my paint.

Checkin was fine, desk clerk said I got an upgrade; however, I got the room I reserved. I don’t know if she was trying to fluff me or if she was not all there.
Upon arrival to the room, I asked the bellman for a refrigerator. None arrived, asked a second time, never got one. I gave up.

Food on property was decent but not worth the premium pricing. It was just ok.
The room was in disrepair, no toilet paper in the bathroom, not even a toilet paper holder. There were a bunch of maintenance issues with the room. I informed the hotel of the major pressing issue but nothing came of it.

On my last night at this place, I got an alert that someone was racing my car in the parking lot hitting nearly 50 mph with heavy braking.

I checked the in car video and two valet attendants were doing horrible things to my car.

Upon providing the video tot the hotel, they took the valet fee off my bill but I am not happy with that because they could have done more. I still demand concessions for this tomfoolery.
Even worse yet, I have not gotten any Hilton points for my stay, no clue why.

I would be way less mad if they adjusted my bill and gave me the points I earned for the stay and some bonus points for the malfeasance caused by the valet and all of the other unsatisfactory experiences at this property.

I will try to keep this has short as possible but I need to stress... for anyone looking to spend money at this price point and looking for a 5 star experience - you're going to be disappointed. This is absolutely not a 5 star resort - it is a 4 on a good day. And I've stayed at better 4's. Part of the reason my be because this hotel is so new and they are working out the kinks. But it is a pretty expensive price point to miss so many basic marks. The grounds are really pretty - there's a huge lagoon with kayaks. Very fun concept and it was untimately why we decided to go. But there's no service at the pool or the beach so you're going to have to get everything yourself. Also there's no one that is clearing your dirty cups or dishes either so everything just piles up until the end of the day when they clean the grounds. The food and the drinks are good but everything is also very very pricey and there is an 18% gratuity added to every single thing you purchase so there's no incentive for anyone to go the extra mile because they are getting paid either way. Felt a little chaotic at times but the hotel didn't seem that busy based on the ease of finding pool and lagoon chairs. A five star hotel has your car ready when you call valet 30 minutes before you head down for check out. This valet had us waiting another 20 minutes for our car.

The rooms were large. Much larger than most hotel Rooms which was nice to have with 4 people and new. If you want more pillows or towels be prepared to wait over an hour for them. I also thought the beds were quite firm but that is a preference and to each their own.

All in all I think this could be a really great resort but they have a ways to go. I don't think I'm going to be the last person who is confused about the price point and lack of service. If you're going to call yourself 5 Star and charge at the price point this hotel charges you better be able to deliver or you're going to have a lot of really upset people. If I were you... I would go to another resort. This was a huge miss for me and there are just better options.

Everything was good at the Conrad until we had confusion at the spa. As Hilton Diamond members, we take advantage of the services that are provided. While staying at the Conrad, we reached out to the concierge to inquire about booking a couple's massage. The concierge directed the spa to reach out to us personally. We were delighted when they did so. During my phone call they confirmed that a couple's massage was 250. This was in our budget and I was excited to book appointment as they had a time available. It was my husband's birthday and I was looking forward to celebrating.

The next day after attending our spa appointment during checkout, we were informed that the price for the massage was per person not per couple. I was shocked and overwhelmed by this information as it was not clear when I made the appointment. As someone who typically is mindful about booking experiences I felt disappointed that I did not seek clarification. Needless to say, don't make the same mistake I made when booking an appointment.

Despite this experience, we had lovely interactions with the rest of the Conrad staff. Nour made my hubby's birthday special with a treat. Mo in recreation was personable and kind. Ana at check in was delightful to speak with.

What a wonderful resort! It is so unique and wonderful to have a beautiful, blue lagoon with white sandy beaches in Central Florida. The staff were very attentive and engaging. If we needed anything at all, they were right there to handle it. My only drawback was the menu at Sophia's Trattoria. Neither I nor my sister were a fan of the choices. I did have a delicious Bolgenese (sp?) via room service one night however, we went with the scallops when we dined in the restaurant and while they were tasty, we felt they were way overpriced. We would have liked to have had options like spaghetti, lasagna, ravioli, ziti, etc.
I suppose their menu may be specific to a particular region in Italy and it may be appealing to some however, we had trouble even understanding the food descriptions. Having said all that, we did have an amazing server, Nicole. She was so delightful! She was informative, helpful, friendly and checked in on us just enough to make sure we were doing OK, but not so much to be overbearing or hovering. She made our meal much more enjoyable! We also ate at Papaya Club and that food was delicious. The servers and bartenders were great as well. However, our favorite spot, where we ate twice, was the food court in the building directly across the lagoon from the hotel. I think it was called The Landing. They have varied menus for burgers, pizzas, wraps and salads. There is also a little marketplace there for quick grab and go options like baked goods, fruits, salads, etc. I had a burger and my sister had a chicken club the first time and the second time we got pizza. All were delicious!! We also used our free hour of kayaking that is included in your stay and that was a lot of fun. So relaxing and you don't have to worry about alligators.....lol.
I highly recommend the Conrad and Evermore Resort. I'll be going back again at some point and would like to stay in one of the flats or houses they have so I can bring more family members. It's a perfect place for a big family get together!!
Thanks Conrad for taking such good care of us on our sister's trip :-)

Great question because I did ask and I was told that it is fresh water because they do not use any chlorine. But I would definitely check on your end as well. We were there on their first opening week, and as we were asking questions : we came across a lot of “I don’t know “, I’m not sure !
