The AC Hotel Orlando is sleek and modern and clean. Our corner room on the 23rd floor had windows on both walls with cityscape views. We had no difficulty finding the place in the warren of streets that is downtown. The valet greeted us immediately and pleasantly, and provided extra information about the Sky Bar and other services. The front desk clerk was pleasant and helpful and also provided useful information for a seamless check-in. The room has outlets and USB ports galore, good wifi, a mini fridge, and a safe. There is a microwave and ice and water station down the hall. Yes, there is the hum of highway noise, and the train stops here. The hotel is aware of this and provides earplugs for those who can’t tune this out, but what savvy traveler does not travel with her own favorite set of earplugs? The lounge area on the 18th floor has intimate seating areas along with places for you to hang out with a bunch of friends. There are menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. (Lunch was delicious). There are both indoor and outdoor seating areas, with fire pits outdoors, and an indoor/outdoor bar. The location is great for the views, sunsets, and for walking to excellent venues for food and music.
Not a big fan of tempered glass pocket doors for bathrooms. And it’s nice to have a courtesy light in a bathroom, which this one does not. Every bathroom should have a hook or two for hanging a towel or robe on. The hotel’s advertising shows bathrobes on a bed, but they acknowledged that they do not have any robes (#supplychain). But again, what savvy traveler does not stash a small lightweight bathrobe in her luggage? Valet parking is pricey but timely and efficient. My husband and I have stayed many times at this location starting with this first week that they were open. We love the close proximity to many restaurants and night life and to our daughter’s apartment downtown. It is very new and is very nicely appointed. One of my only complaints is the bathroom lighting. It is way too bright! It has mirror lighting and also very bright down lighting right above the sink and vanity. They are on a sensor so when you get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, you are blinded by the light! It would have been nice if they had designed the lighting with two different level choices. One for the mirror only lighting and one for the spot lights. But, other that that we have been pretty much happy with our many stays there. Although, the lack of any kind of room service or housekeeping service is a real bummer. But unfortunately the lack of housekeeping service seems to be the norm these days. I really miss the days when you could get your room freshened up daily with trash being emptied, getting fresh towels and having the bed made. Blame it on Covid I guess! We have found the food from the restaurant to be very tasty and the sky bar area to be very nice. The staff have always been pretty helpful as well. I’m sure that we will definitely be back again.

We completely understand how the bathroom light could be an inconvenience for some and have items available upon request to stop this from happening. Next time you stay with us just let us know and we can provide you with that solution. We have also heard the feedback from our guests and though not all AC Marriott's will do this, we have started daily housekeeping service. As a select service brand with Marriott, all AC hotels do not have room service however we are always happy to take an order over the phone and have it available at the AC Lounge for pickup. There’s a lot to be said about the first faces you see when you enter a hotel. The people you first interact with can often times either make or break your experience there. When you come in either tired from flying or tired from driving you are anxious to get settled in.
Aside from the friendly and welcoming Valet crew, one of my first interactions was with Omar at the front desk. He welcomed my wife and I to the hotel with a giant smile and proceeded to inquire about how our day was going. We informed him that we parked in the wrong parking garage and he had genuine concern about our issue. He informed us of the typical rates of the parking garage and what parking situation would be best. Needless to say we went with valet since that was the most logical thing to do since we wanted the convenience.
After Omar issued us room keys he decided to offer us 2 drink tickets. We didn’t use them immediately but they definitely came in handy for our brunch day at Skybar. That was kind gesture to extend to us especially after our long drive to the hotel. It was also an incentive to visit the restaurant at some point during our busy weekend.
When we got to the room it was impeccably clean(shoutout to housekeeping) and stocked with plenty of towels and toiletries. The room was also spacious and had a great city view. I made a initial call to the hotel prior to arrival to gain information and also a few calls down to the office after check-in in regards to more items to be sent up. Nicole was the lady who received most of my calls and was very polite and ready to assist me. When the items I requested came up a gentleman from housekeeping dropped them off, he was also very polite and provided me with more than enough items that I needed. During my weekend stay; Eboni also assisted me with information and requests, once again polite and with a smile.
When we reached the skybar on our departure day, we decided to eat brunch there. The views there were amazing and it was a nice day to sit outside. Our server Diana was attentive and full of smiles as well. We then had a chance to order our drinks with the drink tickets that Omar issued us and had some delicious brunch food.
Overall the staff is friendly welcoming and attentive. Your GM should be proud to have these superstars working hard, making this hotel shine. In turn I hope that the staff is recognized for all of this. I could’ve stayed at any other Marriott but AC is one of my favorites because they are always on point. Kudos to everyone in this hotel working through such a tough time in the hospitality world. My whole career has been in hospitality and I understand how much back-breaking work it takes to serve and please guests.

We visited the bar Sunday night at like 845. We do understand that everything closes at 10o’clock on Sunday. I have brought a lot of people here because the views are unforgettable the service is always impeccable here and the food is always amazing. I don’t know what happened this time but both bartenders on Sunday night were more focused on closing their bar rather than servicing their guest. As I come here at least twice a week I know what to expect from not only the service but the food. The meatballs were completely cold and dry not what I’m used to the state that I Ordered was medium well instead of medium they literally gave me one crouton for my meatballs which I’m not used to. We never got a last call on food or drinks. And as a matter of fact the QR codes that were there were kind of faded we had to keep asking the bartender for a QR code which he seemed pretty annoyed. The girl bartender that was there was Not nice at all. I tried making eye contact with her since the other bartender was busy. One of my guest went to order a flan at 9:45 We were told that the kitchen was already close they never gave us A last call on food and alcohol. The bill was about $57 I only left a $20 bill so that hopefully next time when I come back they know that I tip good and it woould obligate them to give me better service. I was on a business trip & have stayed at other AC hotels up North in the Boston area; however, this downtown Orlando location was absolutely terrible from the front desk set-up locations, elevator confusion, clicking noise outside the room, to the cleanliness of the rooms. First off, I had to switch rooms because of hairs in the bathroom, on the floor & in the bed. The wrong name was on the tv screen & the noise from the elevators was way too loud. Got a new room; however, it was still dirty, dusty & mold in the shower & cleanliness obviously did not exist & neither did their Covid-19’s safety cleaning protocol as they advertise. There was also a clicking noise that was heard every 30 min & did not sleep well at all even with the provided ear plugs & sound machine; which should have been a red flag right there. By that time it was too late to switch rooms a second time & could tell a new room would be no different. The only decent thing was the Sky Bar & the food served. The AC Hotel Downtown Orlando was absolutely terrible, & terrible experience & there was nothing new about the hotel as advertised.

Maintaining a clean atmosphere within our guest rooms and common areas is important and I apologize that we did not fulfill that expectation during your visit. Prime location for local concert venue and downtown fun. We were within walking distance to the Amway Arena, local night spots , and a stones throw to great dining.
The lobby is on the 14th floor, and this is where we found the only negative of our experience. In order to check in we had to roll our luggage through the bustling bar scene and dining guests. We felt like perhaps there could have been a better setup for arriving guests.
The rooms are a modern, minimalist decor. They are clean and comfortable. The rooms facing west do have a slight outdoor noise from the nearby freeway but the hotel provides earplugs and a white noise machine to compensate. We were very happy with our stay and will definitely visit again!

Unfortunately this beautiful new property with an excellent staff is located where the highway sound is so loud that sleeping is near impossible. The hotel obviously knows this problem because a very nice noise machine is set up between the beds and 4 sets of ear plugs were prominently displayed in the room next to the window. The construction company or architect made some serious errors in the design and or materials selected for this property. From the 22nd floor my room faced the Amway Center and the noise was non-stop from my check-in at 1am until I left a little after 7am. I really hate writing this review but it was so loud and the quality of my sleep was so poor that I felt that I needed to share this with other travelers.

It's great to have a hotel in the heart of downtown that is within close proximity to many attractions, businesses, restaurants, and the Sunrail that will take you to areas outside of downtown, unfortunately because of that we do have some noise with traffic and the train. We are already in talks with the Florida Department of Transportation and plans are in place to make all crossings in this area quiet zones, eliminating the need for horns. We are also working on solutions to minimize the amount of disruption from I-4 to our guests. We hope to have something in place in the near future. Amazing place to eat upstairs with fire pits, a really cute gym and the rooms were stunning. They were inspiring! Our room cleaner, Jackson, on the 25th floor was so gracious, smile always on his face, generous and it just made our stay even better. We will absolutely return to this gorgeous, clean, central hotel. So stylish you will love- you’ve found the place, trust us!

Firstly, the location of the hotel is amazing, especially if you're attending a concert at the Amway, as it's just a 4-minute walk away. This was particularly convenient for me as I have bad knees.
However, I do have to mention that the valet parking service during the concert was quite chaotic. It took me about 1.5 hours to leave the garage, which was quite frustrating.
Regarding housekeeping, I truly appreciate their hard work. However, I did experience a minor inconvenience when they knocked on my door at 9 am to check if I had checked out. Since the checkout time is at noon, it would be more convenient if they could check with the front desk to see who has already turned in their keys or completed a mobile checkout, instead of waking guests up unnecessarily.
Overall, despite the minor issues mentioned, the hotel's fantastic location and the effort put in by the staff made my stay enjoyable.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review of our property. I truly apologize that the wait to get out of the public parking garage was so long. Unfortunately on concert nights it can get very busy for the garage. I am dissappointed to hear that our housekeeping team knocked at 9am. This is something we teach our housekeepers not to do. We will certainly cover this again with our team to ensure this is not happening in the future. Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention so we can address! Thank you for having an interest in AC Hotel Downtown Orlando! The Hotel does not have a pool however we do offer a list of amenity's including the fitness center, meeting spaces, AC restaurant, and more!
