At the Sheraton Vistana Villages Resort Villas, I-Drive/Orlando, guests enjoy a tranquil environment and convenient access to Disney parks, with the added bonus of spacious rooms featuring full kitchens and laundry facilities. The resort's numerous pools and location near International Drive also receive compliments. However, while the overall cleanliness is applauded, attention to detail in dusting is sometimes missed. Opinions on the resort's value and service vary, with some guests encountering unexpected costs and high-pressure sales tactics, and others experiencing exemplary staff responsiveness. Despite its many positives, the worn furnishings in some areas suggest a need for updates.

We extended our week long stay and had to change hotels as the one we were previously staying in were sold out. We had stayed at this location before and were happy to spend our last night in the area at this resort.

We were able to do an early check in which was a major help in our plans for the day. The location is great - super close to Disney Springs and other big attractions. Staff was very friendly throughout our stay and the room was spotless. Everything was sanitized and wrapped.

We love that this location is more than a standard hotel room - the in unit washer and dryer was so helpful as we could do all of our dirty laundry from our trip and it helped so much in regards to packing for our journey home.

We enjoyed the pool area - didn't swim as there were quite a few families in the water and it was quite chilly. But we found a secluded area and was able to lay out and relax before going out for dinner.

We can't wait to come back and enjoy a longer stay at this location!

We stayed in a 1BR room. Room was nice and clean and looked recently renovated. Only downside was we were on the top floor and there are only 2 elevators for the building, one of which was out of service for 3 of the 5 nights we were there. Keep in mind there’s no daily garbage removal or room cleaning but I’m not sure if it’s because of COVID or because of the time share nature of the resort.

Kids enjoyed the pool and the water was very warm which made for easy swimming.

However, since it is a time share resort, be prepared to be bombarded with calls and attempts to get you to attend a sales presentation. I was asked no less than 3x. The first was shortly after check in. I received a call asking me if I got my parking pass at check in. They also asked me if I was interested in attending a timeshare presentation in exchange for $150. Being well aware of timeshare sales tactics (thanks to Costco for warning us as well) I said no and was then told I need to come to the front desk to pick up a parking pass. I went to the front desk and waited in the check in line for 20 mins before being told I had to go to the Vacation Sales desk to get my parking pass, where I was again asked if I was interested in attending a timeshare presentation. Fast forward to the day of checkout, I got a call asking me to stop by the lobby for my “departure gift.” I was again told to go to the Vacation Sales desk to pickup my gift. Thank God I overheard the conversation going on in front of me because they were trying to sell a pre-booked week to guests who were leaving. I immediately left without staying to get my “departure gift.”

TL:DR Nice, modern rooms but be prepared to be pitched several times on timeshare “investments.”

So my husband received an email for a great price on 5 days/4 night stay in a one bedroom Villa. We knew this would be a listen to a time share presentation but the cost of the stay was one we could not pass up. I do believe you can stay there without the presentation just not at the pricing we were getting. So, we show up on a Friday after driving about 9 hours from NC and they were very nice and check is went very smoothly, now it is 10 pm and I want to get ready for bed, here is where the nightmare begins. I pull back the covers of the King size bed to stained sheets, now mind you they were clean but clearly stained by old blood. Ok so we think we will just pull that sheet for the night, BIG BIG mistake underneath that sheet was numerous long black hairs (we are blonde), now my germ a phobic is kicking in, so my husband calls for all new sheets. So we figure we will help by stripping the bed so they can make it faster when they show up. Low and behold underneath everything is a piece of paper towel that has been there for God knows how long. Now I'm getting madder and madder and I'm exhausted. An hour passes and no new linen, now 11 PM, I have been up since 3 am. My husband calls down again and we are told housekeeping is backed up they will be there as soon as they can, we get a knock at the door, we assume they will come in and make the bed. OH NO! they dropped the bag of linen by the door and was 1/2 way down the hall when I opened the door, we had to make the bed! So if that wasn't enough it gave us enough time to really look around, there was a hair tie on the floor next to the sofa, and a clothes pin by the dresser in the bedroom. NOT impressed Sheraton, now I will say the room was large, loved the full kitchen for breakfast and the pool area was well maintained. The food by their main pool was horrible and the beers really pricey, but the ladies at the Market place made a very good Frappuccino. My only advice is don't depend on just the name and think you are getting a clean room.

I will never come back to Sheraton Vistana Villages Resort Villas, I-Drive/Orlando
I am a platinum with Marriott and was told I would get a upgrade if the rooms are available only to be told I would have to be charged $20 a night for the upgrade.
Also the rooms are not cleaned properly and I was told that there is no cleaning service after 5pm The service a very bad and the people who work at this hotel ate not honest.
I am not a person who complains but this hotel was terrible!!!!!

Our family booked a vacation several months in advance. When booking, we arranged for three rooms total, and requested the rooms be nearby each other. Two-three weeks before our arrival, we called to confirm our request. Upon arrival, we found out the request was never entered and the rooms were assigned in different buildings around the resort. After some revisions at the front desk, two of the the rooms were arranged in one building, but the third was placed in a building on the opposite side of the resort. The staff would not help to find a closer room. Several hours later, after we were unpacked in the two rooms near each other, we received a call that our rooms could have been placed in a building closer to the third after all. (Why wasn't this arrangement/room assignment done when we first checked in???)

Rooms were average at best. Temperatures in the rooms were either too hot or too cold. Beds were uncomfortable as well, and the walls are very thin. We could hear toilets flushing from the rooms around us.

The only positives I could find were the pools. The main pool was very nice, with a waterfall and volleyball area. The resort chose to close the main pool for two full days during our trip though. With the main pool closed, we found our way to the other pools, which were very crowded due to the fact the the main pool was closed.

Overall, I had a terrible experience with this resort. Two years ago, we stayed at the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort. The rooms there were much nicer and the pool area was fantastic. The only amenities this resort had that the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista didn't were elevators. I would definitely recommend that resort over this one.

Hi, thank you for your review of your recent stay at Sheraton Vistana Villages Resort. We are saddened to learn that you do not recommend our location. We apologize for your check-in experience and your villas not being located near one another. As a vacation ownership property, Owners do receive priority on villa location requests. While we would love to meet everyone’s requests, it sometimes is just not possible when occupancy is high. However, the resort team will make every effort to accommodate. We are happy that you enjoyed some time by the pools. We do thank you for staying with us and hope we can provide a better experience during a future stay.

My family of 4 took a trip to Disney World and we chose to stay here b/c we needed a 2 bedroom suite and this was much more affordable than at a Disney hotel. We were pleasantly surprised at the grounds - there were daily activities posted near the pool area, and there was a nice little playground and pool/waterslide. Our kids are 4 & 1 and this was perfect for them. This resort was also very close to Disney World - only about a 10 minute drive to any of the parks. We appreciated that there was a lovely balcony with a screen for protection from bugs and for the kids safety.
The only reasons I knocked off a star is b/c our room had a little bit of a weird smell, the dryer was so loud I didn't even want to use it (I was happy we had the option in our room though), and the layout of the room I didn't love...the living room space was very small. We also received a phone call at 8:15am one morning asking for us to get our "welcome package" in the lobby which I am sure was about selling us a timeshare. I was annoyed that this phone call almost woke up our 1 yr old.

We absolutely love staying here. The location of the resort is great as it is at the quieter end of international drive but in close proximity to the busy hustle and bustle of international Drive, all the Disney parks and the premium outlets on Vineland Avenue.
The resort offers 3 great pools as well as many daily activities for all ages. Staff are always great and the apartments are always clean and well-kept. There is free on-site parking and plenty of it as well as free Wi-Fi. I have no doubt we will be returning again soon.

I'm starting off by saying, great job on service thoughtout at the moment of driving to the gate (Good Job Secuirty). All employees were helpful and greeting me (Family) at all time. Front Desk, Housekeeping, Activity Desk and desk across from the Front Desk, with employees greeting me (Family) maintenance and others, Thank you!

The room was as expected, nice dish wear with enough items needs, Bar BQ Grill were great, playground was clean/safe, pools were great/fun and activities keep family busy on the down time. I have already book a stay there already. Thank you everyone.

We only had one night here and it was fab!
We got a massive room which was super clean and modern.
As our time wa short we didn't use the pool but when we arrived around 9PM there were still people using it and it looked really clean, lot of chairs etc. The entire complex is very well kept. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast the next morning. For dinner we arrived 10 mins before closing and the staff had no issues with serving us. They were so so helpful . The nachos were Devine!!
We went from there to a 7 night cruise and then back to I-drive to another "resort" for 4 nighta Sherton was fully booked and we are so disappointed. The Sherton is classy and clean

Currently I'm here are the resort. To say I was disappointed in the room (107 building 9) that I recieved for my family is an understatement. We were already in Orlando under stressful terms and the room placement and appearance were not great at all. First, upon trying to checking the front desk asked had I already been there, I of course said no. So I was paying and my card declined which was crazy cause the money was set aside. So my sister payed. Come to find out I was checked in by a employee and my credit card was charged as well as my sisters card was charged. I also asked for a updated room which I was told was not available.
Next, the room was very dated, unclean ( hair in the shower and the kitchen had ants), no full towel sets in any bathroom and the appliances were nasty and the fridge was dirty.
I had to continually call for towels and washcloths and when they came to drop them off, we recieved some blue and white towels about 15 and 4 wash clothes. We had to go buy our own frying pan and cooking utensils as the ones in the room needed to be replaced. There was no sheets for the pull out coach and we recieved them finally with the towels.
I got a real good deal on this property and really wanted to give it the benefit of doubt.
