I have been to Orlando many times and I can say the warm welcome that was received from Ms.Gines was amazing. I’m apart of Florida Atlantic University Upward Bound a government funding college readiness program that helps first generational students become exposed to the concept of college. To be in an hotel of such high decor and aesthetics from the lobby to the room is superb. The room had a special touch with a sanitized wrapping that provided comfort in its state of being clean. As well as the wall paper that almost made you laugh with the giraffe and UFO. As well as the dinner that was provided added a nice touch to the stay, which fed everyone and allowed for a multitude of times to get seconds, thirds, and fifths! Ms. Gines did a wonderful job in first impressions as well as her warm smile that made me want to go back a second time. I’ll be back!

I know viewers are rolling their eyes. Orlando? And no theme parks? With that in mind, please check out the distance to where you want to go. We needed this area specifically and there is huge competition between reasonably priced lodging, all very new. We have previously stayed in an Aloft in Munich and relied on that experience when booking. The hotel was very clean, the pool looked clean and inviting, there was a bar, a pool table, and grab and go little market within, and the rooms were immaculate and roomy. I spotted an added bonus for guests staying a bit longer - washers and dryers on each floor! (I think I saw $1.75/load). The hotel is very reasonably priced with stores, including Florida's first White Castle(!) minutes away. We would definitely book again. Also note the parking is free.

My wife and I stayed here during our recent trip to Disney. We have stayed at 4 other Aloft properties in different cities. This was our favorite experience with Aloft. The customer service experience was exemplary. The helpfulness and friendliness of every staff member made our stay very enjoyable. The property is kept very clean. Our room was super comfortable and had everything we needed. Because of Covid, housekeeping is currently by request only which is totally fine. Extra towels and toiletries were readily available at the front desk, as was complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby's quick service dining area (the room also has a single-serve coffee maker). Our room had a fridge (no freezer) that kept our waters nice and cold. I did not partake of the bar or breakfast options, but saw other guests were enjoying them. We were only about 10-15 minutes away from every Disney park and tons of dining options nearby. They do provide shuttle service to Magic Kingdom but we took our own car. Ellie at the front desk was awesome. Shout out to Ellie!

We've stayed in this hotel many times, and have had great experiences in the past. On our most recent stay, we had an issue with the bathroom barn door. The door slid off of the track, trapping me in the bathroom. Someone in my group called the front desk who told us maintenance wouldn't be in for a few hours, and asked us to try not breaking anything if we tried to open the door. It took two of us to move it, so thankfully I wasn't staying alone.
No one ever checked on us, or the door. Maintenance was never sent to our room, and on check-out when I asked the front desk for a business card for the manager, there wasn't any. They wrote an email address on a post-it note for me which returned an "undeliverable" auto response, so I guessed on a few more email addresses and maybe one made it through.
Additionally, there was housekeeping by request but no one ever told us that until check out so we didn't get any housekeeping. Requesting towels and toiletries on the app resulted in our requests being marked as "closed" (completed) but nothing was ever actually dropped off.
Will likely be our last stay here.

I recently stayed 3 nights at the Aloft Lake Buena Vista hotel while in town for a convention. I chose this Aloft because I wanted to be a little further away from the craziness of the I-Drive hotels but still within a very short drive away. The hotel is only 10 mins from the Orange County Convention Center, and close to all local attractions. The hotel features the hip urban vibe and decor of most new Aloft hotels. The lobby has a pool table and plenty of lounge seating along with a fairly busy WXYZ bar area. My check in was fast and easy and I was quickly on my way to my 6th floor "loft" room. The room was a great size, very comfortable, and super clean. The king bed was large and comfortable and the pillows were actually really good for a hotel. The window is huge and the blackout shade worked great. The bathroom is also clean and well lit. One small complaint is that the shower pressure could have been better, but it was fine. The AC worked great at keeping the room cool without being loud. There was plenty of outlets. There is no formal work desk, but there is a small table near the sofa that worked fine for getting work done. Wifi is free and fast and easy to connect to. At night we had drinks in the bar area the bartender was friendly and the drinks were good (maybe a little pricey). In the morning I had breakfast in the cafe. This is a very weird setup, and I think needs improvements. You order at the front desk (which is weird when there are also people checking out) and then the food is ready in the cafe area. My big complaint is the lack of any kind of healthy options. The options were all sweet or fatty and was a little expensive for warmed up frozen french toast sticks or frozen pancakes. They do work on the presentation, but I would have appreciated some better healthy options like yogurt or cereal or something. The coffee was free and actually good, which is always nice. My only other complaint with the hotel is twice I tried to use the Marriott app to communicate with the staff, and both times I never heard back. Again, this is a minor thing, but it would be nice if the staff there uses the tech that Marriott encourages. I will say that all my interactions with the staff were super friendly and helpful when in person! Overall I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again my next time in Orlando.

The hotel was fairly new and clean. Also, great customer service! At one point, we needed an iron in our room, and the hotel attendant sent up a worker to bring us one. We stayed 2 nights and the maid cleaned our room without us asking he/she to do so…which is a plus! We will definitely be staying at this hotel the next time we’re in Orlando!

Staff, cleanliness, location, and Jenga by the pool! New paint, new furnishings, new linens, new everything! Family of 5 here, we paid a couple extra dollars for a corner room......let me tell you, you won’t be sorry. Two queen beds and a pull out couch was all we needed and we could see Cinderella’s castle without the crowd. The Bluetooth speaker in the room was amazing; my wife, kids, and myself were having a dance party before we visited the only White Castle in Florida, across the street! Smart TV’s also in the room are so convenient for the little one to watch their YouTube videos, no external devices needed. I’ve read reviews that this hotel is not for families, reserve a corner room and you won’t be sorry. Thank you to Rachid, Lindsey, and staff for making our trip one we’ll never forget.

This hotel works as a modern and affordable place to stay central to Orlando theme parks. Some pros and cons I found during our recent stay:
Pros: gorgeous lobby, bar with dining options open late (we never used this but I liked having the option for if we needed to eat after returning from parks), modern feel, price, nice drybar products in room. Strong AC in room. Lovely lake view with some Orlando icons in the distance. Moderately comfortable bed.
Cons: we had zero housekeeping in our 4 night stay. I never addressed this with the desk as we were in parks open to past close every day. Never had time to complain about this, but I’m disappointed as this should be included and automatic. If there is no housekeeping, tell your guests that up front or provide an easy way to request it quickly. The main issue was that we only had one roll of toilet paper that somehow we made last 4 nights, we ran out of coffee pods of course too. We stayed in a standard king and we did not have enough drawer space. This isn’t important to everyone, but some people really don’t love living out of luggage for days. There were only two small drawers that did not fit 2 adults 4-night worth of clothing. The shower leaked all over the bathroom every time. This wasn’t a plumbing leak, it was due to the modern look of the glass panel shower, it looks nice to sell rooms but it is not practical. We had to use 80% of our towels on the floor to sop it up every day. Again, if you are doing a jam packed Disney trip you don’t have time to complain to the desk. Lastly, the sheets had a stain on them. It was small and again I chose to overlook it because of the lack of time, but I chose this hotel due to positive ratings on cleanliness but they lost me with the stained sheets. Overall: works for a budget, quick trip. I would not stay here if you are wanting the resort feel or family experience. If I had days off to relax at the hotel or if I stayed 5+ nights, I wouldn’t have wanted to stay here.

We stayed for a quick Disney trip earlier this month and were very pleased with everything. The hotel is new and is very clean and bright. It's very close to Sea World and the other parks with lots of restaurants nearby. Parking was free, which is always a plus. We stayed in the oversized room with a very large walk in shower. Michael at the front desk was extremely helpful and professional, bringing us an iron and some extra towels when we asked for them. Will definitely stay her again.

My party of 2 visited the area and was pleasantly surprised at the location, as well as the spacious and modern rooms. It is in the Disney Springs area and a little less than 15 mins to Disney, stoplights included. Parking was easy and although there isn’t much parking in front, there is more available in the back of the hotel. I was a little hesitant about parking behind the hotel but the area is well lit and the doors to the hotel are a few steps away from the parking lot. The hotel’s lobby, other common areas, and our room were all very clean and inviting. Upon return to the hotel in the evening, music was playing in the lobby and the scene was lively. There was even a nice ‘Thank You’ note under our door, waiting for us when we returned, that thanked us for choosing Aloft for our Valentine’s Day stay. The staff members were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Overall, we had an amazing stay.
