We were in a 2 bedroom villa on the first floor the beginning of August for 7 nights. The property is beautiful and you can take advantage of what the JW has to offer as well. During COVID we felt like the staff did everything possible to keep us safe. The lack of daily housekeeping that we have grown to love at Marriott Vacation Clubs. But that said, the staff did a great job of honoring our request for daily towel drop offs and set it up automatically for us. Because of COVID it felt like we had the place to ourselves and enjoyed every minute of that. If you are leery about traveling during COVID choose here or any Marriott hotel and you can’t lose.

Our grandson loved the lazy rivers, pool slides and activities that were available. We spent more time on property than we normally would have. We ate a few lunches at Blossoms near the pool and needless to say the food and service was stellar. There was a great Starbucks at the JW that we got our morning fix at each day.

We want to come back next August and hope we can get in as this place fills up quickly. Thanks to the management and staff for showing us they care.

We have owned on this site since new and come every other year, swapping to other southern US Marriotts in-between years and we have also stayed in most of the other Orlando Marriotts. The Lakeshore stands out in terms of facilities and location. The location is a bit further away from Disney etc but its location means that Sea World, Blue Springs, Gatorland, Cocoa Beach etc are all more easily accessible. Including Winter Park and its excellent art gallery / science museum that mist visitors ignore. We also own a number of weeks in Son Antem Mallorca with its two golf courses and in particular walking / jogging track around the courses. This is the missed opportunity at Lakeshore / Grand Lakes. The area beyond the golf course is so wonderful, but not made accessible other than on eco tours (that we have done). This is such a pity as it is a remarkable resource not only for Lakeshore but also the JWM and RC. A bit of creativity would easily separate a circular and worthwhile nature walk from supposed flying golf balls! It can be done!
The other unsung excellence is Blossoms. The simple setting (if not too cold) and excellent (but limited) food and wines / draught beers make for very pleasant lunches or suppers. Staff are always friendly as they are across the resort.
Sadly the same cannot be said of The Marketplace which is a shadow of its former self in terms of range and amenity ... and price. It compares poorly with Marketplaces in other Marriotts.
The facilities of JWM and RC can still be accessed but this might not be obvious ... you need to ask for the card key on check in.
A good site that has not bee developed as originally planned and which has many untaken opportunities.

We absolutely LOVED it here! We arrived shattered from a couple of days at Disney to an oasis of calm! Our check in was very through and the lady was so helpful, giving us lots of information about the complex and even a choice of room.

The one bed king apartment was on the ground floor with a patio overlooking a pretty garden. The apartment was fabulous with everything you wanted in it and all of the fixtures and fittings were high end and in good condition. The washer dryer was most welcome!

As we booked direct through Marriott we had housekeeping included everyday. Everything was left spotless.

The complex itself is beautiful, we loved the pool area and the pool was heated which was great. Blossoms pool bar was food value and we enjoyed food and cocktails.

The marketplace was handy for a quick breakfast, drinks and snacks but the prices were a little high.

The staff were so friendly and helpful and always ready to transport us up to the JW in a golf cart if required. If not, the hotel was a ten minute walk. We were able to use the facilities of the grand lakes complex and went to the restaurants a couple of times. We did actually prefer the lakeshores pool area as it was more peaceful.

Would definitely recommend a day here and would love to return.

As always, Lakeshore Reserve does not disappoint. Even when this resort has high occupancy, it is quiet and relaxing. Starting with the front desk staff we were made to feel welcome. Our unit was spotless. We had booked a 2 bed unit through Interval, which turned out to be a lock-off , which is 2 one bed units with an adjoining door. This was the first trip we've taken since the onset of Covid-19 but felt comfortable that Marriott is doing everything possible to keep their resort clean. It is very pleasing on the eye, and has an attractive pool area. The snack bar and Marketplace store have shorter opening times, not unexpected. Would be nice if the store stocked affordable wine.
We achieved what we went for, to relax and we caught a glimpse of the golfers from afar, playing in the PNC Championship - no spectators this year.
Great job Marriott.

I booked this room as an owner well over 6 months ago. Two days before we get a random email about the possibility of getting an ADA room. We check in to a one bedroom room and are told at the time ADA rooms are all they have… meaning only stand up shower. Now I get that the hotel is under renovation but with a 1 year old this is flat out unacceptable. We take the room, the room is damp, nothing dries… fine… fast forward to forcing our one yr old to stand in the shower and cry it out and the water doesn’t get warm. We’re on the third shower and come morning they can either move us or put us up at a different hotel as this is totally unacceptable.

Communication abt only having ADA rooms available should been come weeks ago and we should have been offered the choice to change hotels as we’re told they literally having nothing but ADA. How can that be??

Never-mind that this is the second year in a row that we have a broken couch.

The pool is lovely and the people that work here are wonderful but it seems upper management can’t get their act together. Totally disappointed.

I did not take enough photos as I was too busy enjoying all the resort had to offer. Away from the bustle of Orlando roadways, nice winding path to the entrance. The resort is elegant, clean and beautiful! Well designed and maintained. 7 of us were able to comfortable stay in a two bedroom, two story villa. Thank you for the full kitchen, dining and living spaces, and the back patio facing the activities of the resort, we loved everything about the room, the breathtaking pathways to the lazy river.
Thank you for the amazing playground for my son (4). He enjoyed the jumbo connect 4, the outdoor activities. The pool/lazy river design is elegant, the landscaping and fountains around were wonderfully designed, I LOVED floating on the river in the evening looking at the trees and various plants/flowers and I just floated away.
The staff was incredible, the stay was without a hitch. Everyone is our family continues to mention how we'll be back, and finding excuses to come back! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
And the kids space was everything my son could want. Thank you for the creative space, how you wonderfully designed a space so inviting to the kids, we loved it.

We stayed the week before Labor Day weekend, and got to see the hotel empty and then full over the holiday weekend. Alternated time at the hotel and Disneyworld, and our kids enjoyed everyday equally. When checking in we were tired from traveling, and Francesca kept the pool restaurant open late to ensure we could order dinner - great first impression. Our two bedroom was laid out really well, ton of space and access to the pool was easy. Speaking of the pool, the lifeguards working down there were engaging with our kids, while maintaining COVID precautions, they made sure they had fun even during the weekdays when there were few other guests. You have access to the JW and Ritz pools, but really there is no need because the pool and waterslides here are better than anything over at those two properties. COVID precautions were on point, nothing draconian, they have found the right balance between safety and enjoyment. We will back.

As a family that lives 2 hours away, we are often staying at various condo properties in the Orlando area such as most Marriott's, Westgate's, Sheratons, and this one was the best!

The rooms were clean and comfortable and I really liked the lock off rooms for extra privacy when needed. The pool, lazy river, hot tubs, and waterslides were very nice for a property this size. It was never that crowded. The lifeguards were great and I enjoyed the fact that they tried to make the pool area enjoyable for all. They also have lawn games and other fun stuff to do. You can also take a short walk to the extremely impressive JW Marriott pool complex as well!

I wanted to specifically thank Esteban from the front office. We had an issue prior to arrival and he went above and beyond to make everything right, which he did. (Esteban, Tyler loved the waterslides and went on them hundreds of times!). Esteban gave us a nice welcome package with various snacks and pool toys for the kids. Thanks for all of it! I have been a manger for 20+ years, and I can say Marriott is very fortunate to have you on staff.

I do like to offer some ideas for improvement as well in reviews... They should upgrade the quality of food from the pool side bar, at least the pizza anyway. For the price we paid, I expected better. It would be nice to see these pizzas match the rest of the Lakeshore Reserve feel.

I will be recommending Lakeshore Reserve to friends and family in the future and look forward to returning again!

We stayed for one week in a one bedroom villa that includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, washer and dryer, balcony, large living room and separate bedroom. This was the perfect choice for anyone with concerns about COVID and crowds. Staying at Lakeshore, which has a beautiful pool and lazy river also gives you access to the adjacent JW Marriott huge pool areas. The combined grounds of the property are expansive and beautiful with walking trails and golf. The villa was sparkling clean and well maintained. All staff were extremely helpful and made our stay memorable.

This was our first visit to a Marriott vacation club property and we were not disappointed. When you pull up, you are surrounded by their beautiful landscaping and grounds…everything is perfectly maintained and gorgeous! Every member of the staff that we encountered was so friendly and accommodating. We originally booked for 3 nights and extended our stay to 5 nights because we loved our time at the Lakeshore Reserve.
The 2 bedroom villa was perfect for our family (family of four - 6 month old and 3 year old). It was private and quiet and had all the comforts of home.
We loved spending our days in the zero-entry pool and lazy River. In the evenings, we would walk to the JW or Ritz for dinner. We also ate at the restaurant/bar on-site and it was great.
I highly recommend this resort. It was perfect for our young kids but we saw families and couples of all ages. We are already planning a trip back for 2022!
Lastly, I just want to thank the following staff members for making our stay memorable: Lizette, Vivems, Francesca, Andrew, And Nate.
Thank you also to the genius who thought of having a stall in the men’s bathroom for dads with strollers👏🏻👏🏻

You have to bring your own floats. There is also not much of a current, so it is really a lazy river. It is very enjoyable.

There is a little more for kids at Harbour Lake, but the units have more room and are more comfortable at Lakeshore. There are also kids' activities, a playground, organized activities, a lazy river and water slides to name some. We have young grandkids, and our choice would be Lakeshore Reserve.
