Whew. Okay. This hotel, hands down had the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in in years. Even with the exhaustion and soreness of being on a theme park vacation, I still found it hard to get comfortable. The sheets and “blankets” were paper thin. The room only allotted 1 pillow per person which made the bed seem even more bleak than I originally thought possible. There were scuff marks everywhere on the walls which made the room feel very lived in. The room had Horrifically THIN walls. I could hear EVERYTHING the family next door was doing, everything they talked about, and every time they opened their door. This family, unfortunately, didn’t seem to sleep. Our alarm clock went off at midnight scaring the mess out of us. I’m assuming it was a prank left from the previous family that stayed in the room. The toilet paper was thin and cheap. Cheap harsh towels. Everything was just so infuriatingly cheap. Felt like I was thin material hell. The shower has nothing to hold on to so if you’re elderly or prone to falling, good luck. The water, at the highest temperature, was still only luke warm making me think that I was competing for hot water with other families taking showers. All in all the hotel seems nice from afar but if you are used to any standard of living that is not sub-par you will probably struggle with this being a “vacation getaway”.

My boyfriend and I were very impressed with this bargain Universal resort. We chose this place because it was hands down the cheapest option comparing both Universal and Disney locations. Since we were planning on visiting US and IOA we knew staying on Universal grounds would grant us early access to those parks. We were pleasantly surprised when we checked in to the resort. The staff member at check-in was extremely competent and helpful. She asked whether we would prefer a high- or low-level room; we chose high. This was ideal, since she ended up giving us the ninth floor which is the highest in tower two...meaning no guests clomping around above us. The past reviews which state the walls are thin and you can hear every single thing from guests next to or above you were pretty true. We planned ahead and brought ear plugs. Doing so we had zero issues! The only thing I can say is that housekeeping starts before 9am and is LOUD. While we were always awake when they started, they would leave the deadbolt out and keep slamming the doors every other minute. Super annoying, but since we typically were out of the room before 9am we got over it. If I were still sleeping this is something I would not tolerate. While housekeeping was very good, there were 2 days they didn't come. Communication with the resort was super easy and all done through text messaging. I loved this option. We had an issue with our tv, needed more towels, and checked-out all with text messaging. They were efficient and super accommodating. This system works very well. We didn't use the pool, but we did snag some drinks at the pool bar a few times. The staff working were super friendly and attentive. We had some nice conversations with them. We tried pizza from the to-go food station. It had near zero sauce on it. It was edible, but not the best food around. We probably wouldn't go for the pizza again. Don't hesitate to give this place a try if you are wanting to save some money on your parks trip in Orlando.

We stayed at Universal's Endless Summer Resort-Surfside Inn and Suites. My husband and I traveled with our children, their spouses and grandchildren. We had a party of 6 adults and 4 children. All our parties stayed in suites. We can't say enough good things about our hotel experience. Upon first entering the hotel the front desk workers were exceptionally helpful and kind! We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days 1/21-1/24. The hotel was so clean, the suites were well stocked, their was a restaurant that was open until late each night that had very affordable pricing for a family. We also received free shuttle back and forth to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, as well as received Early Park Admission into Islands of Adventure each day. We'd happily stay there again. What a blessing!

If you have a party of 5 or 6 people get the one bedroom suites, super nice. Buses are always there ready to take you to the parks. Food court is great and prices are reasonable. This was my 3rd stay and hope to be back soon.
