Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is celebrated for its modern atmosphere and immaculate cleanliness, with guests frequently commending the spotless rooms and grounds. While the comfortable accommodations are a highlight, some guests find the rooms small or outdated and have had varied experiences with housekeeping. The resort's location is praised for its convenience to parks, enhancing its overall value.
Service quality, however, receives mixed reviews, with reports of both friendly staff and slow responses. Amenities like the multiple pools and dining options are appreciated, though some guests desire more variety in hot food and room service.

This resort is very large and absolutely beautiful! It is Disney's conference hotel. Our casita was located toward the back of the property. Being on ground level I was expecting more noise, but it was very quite, as I am a light sleeper. Room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Probably would not want to spend a whole day in the room as it is a little small. There are plenty of activities along with indoor and outdoor seating options throughout the resort. Having connecting rooms with family was ideal. It was about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the main building. The grounds were well landscaped and maintained with good lighting at night. Security was always present. All the food on property was delicious! The bus shuttle to and from the Disney parks was easy to use.

Our first time at Coronado, after staying at most WDW resorts over the last decade. Last week of July was as hot as can be but the resort was...empty? Especially after a few hectic days at Cabana Bay, the difference was staggering. Most rooms were empty and there was no convention so no influx of busybodyname tags. Our room was in Casitas, Building 5 with a very meh parking lot view. Resort is spread out but easily walkable due to the bridges over Lago Dorado. Food court and pool were a 10 minute stroll away. Bus stop 2 was a stone's throw away and service was on par with what we've experienced at other Moderate and Deluxe. The beautiful grounds inspire calm and provide a true vacation feeling. The main pool is fun and mayan themed. The slide was a hit with our ten year old (as were the virgin Pina Coladas at the pool bar!). Food at El Mercado, the quick service location has a slight mexican flair - everything was fresh, hot and many options outside the traditional burger-pizza lane. It has been recently renovated and feels clean and modern, a clean break from the more child focused aesthetics of the Value resorts. We explored the DVC tower and their high end dining and lounges which we will experience next time for sure.

This is the hotel where we stayed for 3 nights due to a conference. There are 12 buildings within the hotel (if I remember correctly). All of these have different names and types. While the exterior of some of them is more modern, some of them are bungalow-like, but the interior of the rooms are exactly the same. Such a concept exists only in appearance. If you are coming from outside the USA, you may be surprised to not find water in your room. Tap water is drinkable in Orlando. If you have a car, using the parking lot is completely free. As far as I can see (I did not have the opportunity to try it), there are regular buses to the theme parks directly in the hotel. There is a disney store in the hotel. While I couldn't find some of the products I was looking for in Disney stores outside, I found them here.
The restaurants in the hotel are quite good. It is quite enjoyable to take a walk around the area in the morning.

This was our second trip to Disney as a family and our second time staying at Gran Destino Tower (Club Level) Last year was AMAZING. And is what made us want to come back to stay here.
This year was a disaster.. For starters we have several dietary requests one being im highly allergic to strawberries (last year they were very accommodating in Chronos Club and I didn't have to worry not one time in reference to cross contamination, they kept the strawberries items in the back and only brought them out at guests request this year strawberries were everywhere and cross-contamination was real, as we saw multiple people using the same utensils for bon strawberry stuff), we can't eat pork for religious reasons (last year they always had a non pork option available, this year there was not, we had to beg for the non-pork option every morning and they gave us chicken sausage that actually had a porcine collagen casing that mad me sick and we lost a park day) (when we asked the cast member what the casing was, they went to the chef who wrote the ingredients on a napkin and when I addressed that collagen casing can be pork and not listed if it doesn't say what kind I was told by the Chronos Club manager 🤷🏽♀️ its says collagen but we will get you some ginger ale). The rest of the time we basically had to purchase our food because we really didnt have any options that were "safe".
My youngest daughter fell from the bed and hit her head at 430 one morning and we went to Chronos Club to get ice that morning when they opened (we tried calling the 24 hour number but there was no answer) and I explained what happened. They cast members were very nice, gave ice and offered to have bed rails sent to the room. The manager (same one from the previous day) came over and asked my daughter if she was ok and said good and walked off.
The day before we left we went to wash clothes on the 3rd floor laundry. 4 of the dryers were not working and no signs were up. While we were there we noticed black mold on the ceiling everywhere. (We had been smelling a mildewy smell throughout the hotel but didn't think anything of it since we are by the swamps/lakes. But my daughters and I are asthma suffers and have been coughing since we got her and it got worse after we did laundry). I let the cast members in Chronos Club know and they went and go the manager... Who was the same one from all week. She asked did we finish laundry and she was sorry about the mold and that she knew we were leaving today. We said yes we were she said ok well as long as you got your laundry done do you need any ginger ale or anything? I told her No and that we would be contacting guest relations about this visit because we will never be back to this hotel or probably any Disney hotel after this visit.

This is the largest resort in Disney meaning you cannot walk to your room unless you stay in the main tower. It’s a 15-20 minute walk to the other rooms and after 8-10 miles of walking at the parks, or if you’re injured or disabled, it’s very inaccessible. Bell services can take you via golf cart however this has to be requested, you have to tip (they literally told me to), and it always seems like you’re asking for a huge favor whenever you ask for this service. It’s not an advertised service. If this place wants to maintain its large size, it needs to offer free and frequent rides. Golf carts should be running through the facilities making frequent designated stops. Unfortunately, staying in the casitas, I did not get to eat at any resort restaurants or enjoy any amenities. Additionally, you need an Uber to get to universal or non Disney places which is fine, but the Ubers are not allowed to enter the gates into you room area. Meaning they pick you up and drop you off at the lobby and you have to walk or be a nuisance and request a golf cart ride and tip. With this level of inconvenience, I would’ve rather reserved an Air BNB and Uber to the parks. We didn’t enjoy any benefits of staying in a Disney resort sadly. The advertising does no adequately convey any of this to future customers.

This is the second time we have stayed at Coronado Springs , 9years after the last. The rooms have been upgraded, they are spacious and clean. The quick service restaurant is great, breakfast and dinner were fabulous. Other table service restaurants we tried on site were great too!
We did some resort hopping to other moderate and deluxe resorts on Disney property and collectively agreed for price and location that staying here was a no brainer! You literally are not further than 10 minutes from any park! Maybe 15mins depending on traffic from disney springs!
Disney theming here is minimal, which for us after long days at the parks was lovely.
We travelled from the resort on a few occasions to Universal Studios via Uber. This depending on the time of the day would average from $20-$30+tip each way. We also took an Uber to Walmart which cost $6 each way
Swimming pools onsite are open until 11pm, this was a welcome sight somedays after a hot day at the parks.
Absolute no negative comments about this resort. perfect stay.

Had a nice stay from Christmas to New Years at Coronado Springs in the Rancho buildings. Hotel was very clean, well landscaped, staff was great, lots of bus stops to the parks and regular buses, lots of on-site dining options, great pool and was generally pretty quiet at night with comfy beds. Rooms were set up well with double sinks in the bathroom and a sliding door that closes off the sink area (very helpful with sleepy kids after a long day on Big Thunder Mountain).
Only negatives were the size of the resort (we are still pretty young so long walks from buildings to restaurants, etc. not a big deal, but would be a trek if mobility is an issue) and lack of maid service every day. It's not super called out that they do reduced maid service with no beds made and only swapping towels every 2 days, a problem when you have wet towels on the floor you were expecting to be new when you return at the end of the day! Understand the new approach to hospitality these days, but would have been good to know more clearly.
Also, a great value on a per night $ basis relative to other Disney World on property resorts, was at least $100 less per night than similarly situated spots.

As someone who works in the hotel industry, I was extremely disappointed with my stay. I was placed in Casitas 4. Casitas 4 is just about as far away as one can get from the lobby, so when I got notified of my room being ready I lugged all of my things across the lake. I would have appreciated knowing how far I would be walking. In the middle of the night I woke up dehydrated. I called the front desk and stated that I was feeling dehydrated from my flight and asked if it would be possible for a Powerade to be sent and billed to my guest room. The Cast Member responded with, “we don’t do that. You can drink the water from the sink, it is safe.” She then said, “do you need me to call 911 for you.” I said no that won’t be necessary. I hung up the phone thinking, “am I at a Disney Resort or a Motel 6?” I don’t know if it’s lack of training or lack of care. Maybe both? I left the Coronado Spring feeling more like a burden than a valued guest. My room was also located down a dark hallway. I really felt like I was intentionally treated with less care because I was under a discounted rate.

We made our reservations in November to be sure we had the best accommodations available. Overall, we spent 8 days at all the Disney parks, Disney Springs, and at Coronado Springs – a vacation that cost us a collective $20,000.
From the very beginning, we requested adjoining guest rooms so that two of our grandsons could share with us. We considered a larger family suite but it’s been our experience (and this was no exception!) that we left early in the morning and returned after the parks closed so this seemed like a great compromise.
During the weeks prior to arrival, we spoke with or chatted with several Disney cast members to purchase tickets, plan events, and to be sure our accommodations would be a good fit for our family. We indicated our room requests online in our profiles, including near to bus stopping points, view, and again adjoining rooms.
One of the cast members with whom I spoke explained that these rooms were reserved for larger families with three or four children. I explained that we were a party of four adults and four children so we fit that requirement. He promised he would put in a request but could not guarantee.
When we checked in on Tuesday evening, we were told by the desk attendant that our rooms were not adjoining but were on the same floor and close in proximity. When we arrived at our rooms, we found that one of the rooms was half of an adjoining room layout with the other half being vacant. The rest of our family was four rooms away.
I called the front desk immediately and after a long wait, someone answered. I explained the situation and requested that our family could switch rooms with the vacant room. I was told, rather curtly, that someone would have to call me back. No one ever did.
The adjoining room remained vacant for much of our stay. When it was occupied, it was for a night or two. Because two of the boys are younger and smaller, it was necessary for someone to be dressed to take them to their parents early in the morning when it was still dark. There was also a frequent knocking on each other’s door when we were in the rooms meaning frequent up and down trips to open the door.
We have been Disney lovers for over 35 years and looked forward expectantly to this trip for months, especially since our family was there three years ago staying in a suite at Animal Kingdom. Unfortunately, the inconvenience and lack of customer service experienced at Coronado Springs was terribly disappointing.

The Coronado Springs Resort is a mid tier Disney property resort that offers reasonable rates and reasonable levels of accommodation for your Disney trip. No, it doesn't have the fancy pool, although it has pools, nor does it have the best rooms, although rooms are a good size and clean, but it is a solid choice to begin and end your Disney day. The rooms are cozy and the beds are nice and comfortable. The restaurants are big and have good array of Spanish flavors and breakfast staples. Bus stops to get you to the parks are scattered around the property and the lobby area accommodates Ubers and Lyfts alike. One thing to beware and/or request: The hotel will not necessarily place you in the main building. There are many smaller buildings scattered around the property, many times 15' walking from the main lobby and the ease of its amenities and restaurants. While the rooms there are pretty ok, I would prefer to be in the main building to avoid the trek to and from breakfast, or while checking out/in. No regrets though and would definitely go back if the price and dates match to my expectations.

Batista coffee is available in the Barcelona lounge, just below reception. However they start second early mooring and finish in the afternoon (I went to get a fab iced coffee at 5pm and they'd stopped serving for the day)

It’s a HUGE resort, I remember it taking me a while to walk to get food within the resort. Was a beautiful walk but took a bit. As for the parks, there are closer resorts but even from here it doesn’t take long at all to get to the parks. About a 10 minute bus ride depending on how many stops the bus makes
