Detailed Reviews
My husband and I stayed here for two nights for the Fourth of July. Our check-in was quick and easy. One of the owners showed us around after offering us a glass of wine or beer.
We stayed in the Mermaid room. The room was furnished with a queen bed, TV, mini-fridge with water and sodas, robes, wine glasses and more. The decorations were a bit much for my taste but they gave the room a whimsical feel. The bathroom was large, with nice toiletries. Outside there are several spaces around the grounds, including benches, tables and hanging swings for reading or just relaxing.
Breakfast on our first morning was a bowl of fresh fruit followed by bacon and blueberry pancakes topped with strawberries and whipped cream. Our second morning our breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, a delicious apple pie muffin, and then a southwestern egg and hash brown casserole accompanied by sausage. Both meals were delicious and a great start to the day. Hint*** If you like to eat outside, just ask to eat your meal at the little bistro set on the front porch!
If you come into the main portion of the inn at a time other than when breakfast is served you will find an assortment of snacks including chips, brownies and cookies. There is also cold water and a Keurig machine with an assortment of coffee flavors.
We did not get a chance to head over to Canal Street but it was very walkable from the inn.
The new owners are doing a great job of keeping up what appears to be a great tradition set by the former owners. This is a terrific option for a quaint inn with great service.

The Anchor Inn is a marvelous B&B, and we highly recommend it. All the rooms were beautifully decorated with a different beach theme, and refrigerator stocked with water and soft drinks. Each room has its own exterior entrance, and an outside deck/patio area, which are great features for a B&B. Tommy and Liz are amazing hosts who make you feel welcome, and the breakfast each morning was delicious. Our host asked in advance if we had any food allergies or food preferences. The dining room was well stocked with snacks, sweets and coffee all day.
Another reason we liked it so much was the location. It's a short walk to Historic Canal Street, and close to the Flagler Ave District with all the restaurants/bars. We loved that there is a wine bar on one side, and a day spa on the other. The Anchor Inn, along with the neighborhood has a relaxed "Old Florida" feel to it, which really adds to the ambiance.
We can't say enough about what an enjoyable time we had, and we've already booked our next trip. This is a great B&B!

My husband and I arrived at the Anchor Inn and were greeted by Tommy, one of the owners, who was a very welcoming host. He offered us an adult beverage, which was very much appreciated. He explained the operation of the Inn, asked what time we would like to have breakfast and showed us to our room. We stayed in the Mermaid Room which was perfect for us. The size of the bathroom was definitely a surprise and it had a spa tub, which just by looking at it made me feel like I was on vacation. There was a nice size table and chairs right outside of our room, which was a lovely place to sit and relax any time of day or evening. The location of this Inn is perfect, in that it is just about a 5 minute drive from the shops and eateries of Flagler Avenue and within walking distance of several great restaurants. There is also a wine bar right next door, which had live music and Ladies' Night on Thursday. The complimentary breakfast at the Inn was more than we had anticipated and our host, Tommy, did such an exemplary job of preparing the dining room and cooking and serving our multi-course meal. I would highly recommend Anchor Inn in New Smyrna Beach for any type of getaway.

Stayed one night at this beautifully decorated B & B just off the historic Canal Street in New Smyrna Beach. We found it very easy to park our vehicle in the back of the property. Our room was lovely featuring a Queen sized bed and a huge bathroom. On arrival we were also offered a glass of wine. There is 24 hr. coffee, tea and snacks in the breakfast room area. Our morning started off with a delicious breakfast including juice, gourmet coffee, warm apple cobbler, fruit, scrambled eggs, English muffin, and sausage patty. I’m certain that the Inn would accommodate special dietary requests. Thank you Ellen and Marie for a beautiful stay.

It had been a while since my wife and I had stayed at a B&B, so we were looking forward to a change of pace from staying at a hotel during our Thanksgiving weekend away. During our stay, we got to spend time with the owners, Tom and Liz, as well as others who were staying there during our 3 days. We had a contact free check in, a comfortable room, great breakfasts each morning (including accommodating my preferences one morning in particular). I appreciated feeling like I was truly being cared for as a person during our time there. I felt very much at home among friends by the time we left. THANK YOU for making our time away a special one!

We stayed at the Anchor Inn enroute to FL and what a wonderful stay. The hospitality of the owners is outstanding, from the wine and cookies offered when checking in, to suggestions for sightseeing and the delicious breakfast, it could not have been better. Our room was lovely, well appointed and very quiet. The whole place is decorated in an "old Florida" style that was very appealing. Additionally, the town of New Smyrna Beach is a great place to walk the beach, shop and eat. A perfect stop! Highly recommend.

What a great place for couples! Tommy and Liz are fantastic hosts and have thought of everything. The breakfasts were outstanding! The level of hospitality was top notch. From the moment we checked in Tommy and Liz made us feel at home and their bed and breakfast has plenty of space and feels like an old Florida craftsman home with all the modern amenities. Our room was clean and spacious with our own private bathroom. The front porch was fun to hang out on to socialize and play cards. There are plenty of fantastic restaurants nearby for dinner and of course beautiful New Smyrna Beach as well as the intercoastal waterway. there are six rooms so this would be a great place for multiple couples or a family reunion. We can’t wait to go back! My wife and I would give the Anchor Inn five out of five stars!

We booked this bed and breakfast to meet up with long time friends and family for the weekend. We originally choose this as a central location as we all came from different locations in the state. We had 4 out of the six rooms booked for our group. The other two rooms were also booked by other couples so the inn was at full capacity. There was plenty of options inside and outside for everyone to relax, catch up and hang out together. We even made new friends with the other guest staying at the Inn. Even with the inn completely full it never felt crowded so don't let the busy season worry you. The Inn-keeps are friendly, detail oriented and a pleasure to meet. The food was not only delicious but abundant so there was no one left hungry at breakfast plus they had available snacks in the dining area. Our stay was absolutely everything we needed, wanted and far exceeded our expectations. The inn is very well kept, clean and have very comfortable beds and whoolpool tubs for that extra touch of relaxation. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone staying or passing through the New Smyrna Beach area.

No, I'm sorry all our rooms are designed for 2 adults.
2.2 miles we are in the heart of historic downtown.
If I remember correctly the room was around $110.00 a night and we arrived in the afternoon sometime.
I think the owners will probably work with you on what time you check in.... They are very nice.
