When I was checking in the guy working the desk around 11:45 pm on 01/29/2023 gave me a hard time about where I parked my car to check in and questioned if I had pets with me like he did not believe I did not have any. I did not feel unsafe as a single female or see anybody milling around outside when I was getting into my room so late at night on a Saturday. The room could use a facelift for sure; there were wires sticking out the door handle outside, the carpet is dirty and will make your feet black like anywhere else, the desk chair was old and falling apart, the desk/dresser/tv remote/nightstand were obviously not cleaned as they had residue/sticky spots/dust, pretty much the whole bathroom needs renovated, they left a roll of used toilet paper in the bathroom but I’m not sure if that’s standard practice, the floors of the bathroom needed swept, the toilet looked like it was lazily cleaned, and rooms definitely are not soundproof like advertised but was not disturbed by the normal noise of comings and goings. But the ac works, did not see any bugs, was provided with clean linen, and tv works fine and even has HBO and HBO 2. There’s a microwave, mini fridge, and safe- only used the fridge which was clean and works. Sinks and tub get hot and drain like they’re supposed to. Did not use coffee pot but one was provided and appears clean. Bed was a little hard for my liking, but did not expect much for the price and it was better than sleeping in my car in a Walmart parking lot. There is a beverage vending machine and laundry facilities on the premises, but I did not use them.
I am thinking about checking out the pool later, but heard talk of it might be out of service and sketchy people hanging out around it. I will update if I end up checking it out.

Well mannered, knowledgeable, honest and willing to please. Clean rooms good rates would definitely stay again. Not like rundown motels down the road. Good centrally located to the New Port Richie area.

This is a mixed review but bottom line is I'd avoid this place. We asked for a room away from the road so what do we get but one that is as close to the road as one could get. We walked into the room and the gap under the door was big enough for any number of things to crawl or slither through. See picture. The toilet was leaking as well. I went to the desk to get a new room. At first the clerk acted surprised but then said he'd told "them" about the gap but they wouldn't fix it (so you knew it was a problem room and you put us in it anyway??). He gave us a new room that was further back from the road and he told me that he wouldn't charge me for the "upgrade". I guess a whole door costs more? At any rate, this room was half decent and served the basic purpose (clean sheets, hot water, less road noise) which is why I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1. There was a bit of activity in the parking lot between 3 & 4 am which was unsettling. Breakfast was minimal and we were on our way earlier than usual.

Unfortunatly this year was horrible, Tia asked us not to book online, we have recipt we payed stayed extra days refused to refund deposit that we have reciept for. we got locked out of room for 21/2 hrs at nite in wet clothes with 20$ribs in room lost, lady with dark short hair was Very nice. electrical was broken couldnt go anywhere they didnt arive to fix till 1130 next morning only to have to move rooms,so missed 1/2 day of kayaking They Advertise but Do Not have any Breakfast items, 2 mornings got cup of cold coffee, Pool has been broken for at least 3 years,still working on it,same washers broken,This is roll of toliet paper that was handed to us,new room, holes above sink, light and fan flickering buzzing cutting on and off,Worst of all they did nothing and Refused to give pur deposit back so to houskeeping sorry Tia or owners have your tips

" update " 06/09/2020 1. Yes I stayed there and yes they triple charged my card. My credit card company went after them and refunded the charges.
2. The same Tish being praised for her service as an employee is also posting as a customer as well as two of her family members giving fake 5 star
3. The are pictures of Room 102? In the front of the hotel? Next to the office.
Do not stay here.. Update just received notice from my bank that they triple charged me for the room. Three separate charges of $415.75.
They are giving themselves fake 5star reviews. The staff were disrespectful and combative. The rooms were disgusting and over priced. Multiple walls had holes in them. None of the appliances were functional. The walls were grossly stained. The sink and toilet were stopped. The sinks were cracked and spraying across the room. I asked for a room change and the new room was not cleaned and the door for the room was broken. I asked for a refund and was given the run around. Denied. Threatened. Finally I cut my losses and was given a partial refund. Do not go there.

This hotel was horrible! The sink was disgusting with chipped enamel and missing caulk. Very nasty. The coffee pot in the Room was filthy. There were no towels in the room. We asked, received some, the poorest quality towels I've ever seen in my life! It was very nasty. The whole experience was horrible. Would not recommend to my worst enemy

Ms Becky very very good worker 24 K Gold. The hotel is nice and clean and quiet, definitely worth the money. I will definitely be back again next time I'm in the area. It's right next to the river and I was able to walk down and talk to people fishing, it was very relaxing.

My stay has been amazing!! The staff is great. Especially Edith Jessica Miranda & Courtney. They are always their when I have a question or when I need something. This is really bad... It's very old, floors uneven under the carpet, people living in them drinking beer and yelling outside at all hours of the night and more. One pillow was as hard as a rock and one bed had bed bugs... RUN!

The deposit is not refundable when a guest leaves the room in a condition that requires extra maintenance and housekeeping. It also is not refunded when guests stay past checkout time e.g 2pm. This is very rarely though.
Hi Sharpeek! I am glad to say that yes we have refrigerators and microwaves in all our rooms. We also have efficiency with electric range, microwave and refrigerators as well. Our efficiency have a queen size bed in those rooms.
