This hotel was built in the 1920s, closed for about 2 decades after 2000 and recently underwent a full renovation. It looks great outside and in, keeping original layouts, lobby fireplace, chandeliers, dining room, etc.
As the renovation was underway the city was performing a much needed overhaul of the park located between the back of the hotel and the river. The park and Hacienda complement each other very well!
We stayed in a spacious double queen room with a very comfortable beds and modern bath. Breakfast is not included but was reasonably priced compared to other hotels and they gave us a $10 coupon to use on each day. A nice extra!
I have a son living in New Port Richey and we will stay here whenever we visit!

Lovely newly renovated hotel. Comfortable hotel in downtown Port Ritchie. When we arrived on a Saturday evening parking was impossible but cleared on Sunday. There is a two night minimum stay so if you end up there on a Sunday, enjoy the brunch inside or out. We weren’t told there was no room service (or is there and we were skipped?) so when we returned to our room, the bed was unmade and our dirty towels were on the floor where we left them. There was no manual regarding how the room works, but after a search found the Wi-Fi pw on the key envelope.

Wonderful Historic Hotel. As others have noted, Oscar at the front reception is a wealth of information and quite friendly! Upon entering the lobby you will be amazed at the renovation of this hotel, built in 1927.
Bar off the lobby is a bit pricey. Sasha’s, the restaurant, is okay. We ate dinner and breakfast there. Roasted chicken (1/4) came with one side, croutons …..
Try not to get room in hallways toward Main St., as the entry door to parking is a card entry and slams as it closes. Agree with other reviewers that sound carries from room to room and from floor above.
Overall, a lovely location within walking distance to restaurants and bars nearby. Back porch has rocking chairs that overlook the park.

Went to this upscale restaurant for Easter dinner and was totally disappointed in quality of food and young, inexperienced wait staff..
The food was mediocre at best. The crab cakes were over cooked, the breakfast potatoes were cooked to the consistency of small rocks and the asparagus was too stringy to eat. We had to ask repeatedly for drink refills (just coffee) which were not included in the $60 price. We were much looking forward to our first visit to this fantastic old hotel but doubt we will ever go back.

What a gem of a hotel! We were on a 60th birthday road trip on the west coast of Florida. We stopped in this quant city on our way down south. The minute we walked inside to inquire about a room, Oscar immediately made us feel like family! Our room was perfect for the two of us! The history of this hotel is so interesting and they just reopened in Sept,2022 after being closed for 15 years so the rooms are fresh and clean. We had a drink in the bar and enjoyed it out in front courtyard. Breakfast on the back patio was so lovely and delicious. This hotel was a highlight of our trip and Oscar made it even more special!

We discovered this gem online and decided to check it out. Built in 1927, it was a regular destination for movie stars (such as Charlie Chaplin) and prominent sports figures (like golfer Gene Sarazen) during it’s hey day. Locals told me this boutique hotel was refurbished in recent years, yet it still retains its charm. Our room was small, but decorated nicely. The shower and bathroom were new and beautiful. Located in the heart of the Historic District, there are many restaurants and points of interest to visit. It is definitely worth spending couple of nights in this charming venue.

The Hacienda is a charming classic Florida hotel. It’s located on a beautiful little public park with lots of restaurants within easy walking distance. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every minute including a dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant which was very good. The design of the building, the history and the decor makes for a special stay. Take a minute to check out the historical photos and the well-appointed lobby. The staff did a great job of making us feel welcome. Oscar, at the front desk was especially helpful and charming. I seldom write reviews but couldn’t resist after throughly enjoying our stay at the Hacienda.

Beautifully restored boutique hotel. We visited Lakeside Inn (sister property in Mount Dora) 2 years ago so we were looking forward to a great similar experience. The Hacienda exceeded our expectations! Service was excellent and welcoming. The renovations must have been painstaking because the result is gorgeous! Our spacious room included 2 comfortable queen beds. The bathroom was small but given that the hotel was built in 1927, today's standards are different. We enjoy looking at a hotel's decor. It seems as though the renovations were just finished. Everything felt very fresh and extremely clean.
If you are looking for a couples trip, I recommend The Hacienda! Downtown NPR is at the doorstop and filled with lots of fun places to shop and dine! Sins Park is beautiful during the day and evening. Bring your kayak if you have one!

What a great gem of a hotel in NPR. Incredibly clean and right next to Sims park. Great dining at Sasha's in the Hacienda, quiet and comfortable. We live in Clearwater and went up for the night and to listen to a couple of bands in Sims Park.

This is a lovingly renovated gem of a hotel located in a beautiful small park. There is a quality restaurant on site where we had breakfast twice. The lobby is warm and inviting, with places to sit. The rooms are small but well appointed. There is free parking. The community is very walkable with many restaurants nearby. It is a short drive to Tarpon Springs.
