Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

So I originally wanted to go to "A Campers World" However after calling the office they informed me that you cannot make reservations there, it was first come first serve. However their sister site Tallahassee East had some availability. It was a little more expensive, but it was similar location. So I quickly checked Campendium to make sure they had internet there and went ahead and booked.

It was $230 for the week, so not terrible ($33 per night) So not as cheap as the last place, but not expensive.

Luckily it wasn't as horrific as I had imagined! lots of trees, grass and sandy sites. The hookup was a bit odd, the sewage was miles away from the power and electric. But the site was large, we could put the full fence out if we wish, but I didn't bother as this is not somewhere I would sit outside and relax. In fact we quickly got sick of the sand after 3 days of rain, most of it ended up in our camper!

We were close to the kids playground which meant screaming from 2pm onward every day and all day on the weekends. and the road noise is BAD. I thought the i75 campground was bad as we were right next to the main road. But this is worse and our site is kind of in the middle. So that disappointing. HOWEVER they have a lovely dog walk and grassy area (not fenced) for the dogs to explore.

Most of the other trailers here looked full time and run down. The people next to us had plants and junk all around their site. Overall it was fairly empty so I am not sure how there sounded like 1000 screaming children at the playground everyday. The noise of the swings wants to make you rip your ears off.

I wouldn't stay here for a vacation. The pool is open in the summer but it does need a lick of paint. They really have tried hard around the office to spruce it up and the ladies at the desk were friendly and nice. They have laundry service here, and dumpsters where you have to take your own trash. Though one of the washers did break when I inserted some coins. The reception and handyman were quick to rectify the situation.

This campground used to be a KOA. But I guess it lost its affiliation because they let it run down quite a bit. The sites were just sand and grass. There were many low income permanent residents living around the edges, The noise from being right next to the Interstate was loud. There were fire ants all over the place. And there were businesses operating out of the onsite storage units, A decent place for an overnight stop. But I would not want to stay there more than a night.

We were looking for a campground on our way home from Louisiana. It was listed as a Good Sams campground so we thought we were in pretty good hands. WRONG! Upon arrival we noticed the pool was empty. When we questioned the clerk, she said "Don't get me started, its been empty since April". Then we get to our site, which didn't even have a picnic table (but plenty of ants), to discover there was no WiFi, which is advertised on their website. I called the office and the clerk said it was only in the lobby. I mentioned that their website was very misleading. Her response was "I've never even been to the website". So I asked for the manager. She said I could call the office on Monday (this was Saturday after driving for 7 hours). Well, we left the next day, never to return again.

Campground was near and quiet even though kids and grandkids were everywhere. Nice warm welcome plus nice free continental breakfast every day. On site hot showers and laundry. Great kids playground. Close enough to visit downtown Tallahassee since camp is in Monticello Florida. They made certain we were not on a muddy site.

This is the worst camp ground we have ever stayed at. Very run down. Our site was in the middle of what looked like a hayfield, the lawn had not been mowed in a very long time. Fire ant hills everywhere you could not see them due to the long grass.

If you like DIRT this is your place. Luckily we did not have rain during our 2 night stay but from the looks of the dirt roads and the wash out it’s not good. The only hard top is the driveway up to the office…From there you are on your own. When we checked in I asked about fire ring Regulations and they said don’t worry about it just burn on the ground. At that point I should have left. Our site had a hose bib that was pouring water. I tried to tighten it but it spun 360. The power pillar had 2 separate lines coming out of the ground with exposed wires. There was no site cleanup. The playground had not seen maintenance plus there are bed mattresses at the end of the slide on the fence to keep the kids from slamming into the chain link fence. The pool was full of leaves. DO NOT BELIEVE THE WEB PICS, THEY ARE NO MORE ACCURATE THEN IF I POSTED MY HIGH SCHOOL PIC ON A DATING SITE TODAY…..I’m 67. The campgrounds borders the highway 100’ away.
The traffic noise is brutal. Also on the property is a multi unit storage building for the public to access 24/7. If you want to rent a U-Haul trailer they have that too. Sorry, we had been on the road for a month and this was our last night out heading home. Stand advised……

Visited for a rainy weekend in April! The lake-side cottages were adorable, roomy enough, and extra clean! The people in the office were very friendly and helpful. Short drives to lovely little towns.

i made a reservation for two nights for this weekend. Literally within 30 minutes i called back and canceled Saturday as my husband wanted to home earlier. When the credit came on my credit card - i noticed it was not a full refund. When i called i was told there is an automatic $10 cancellation fee. Rip - off - it was literally less than an hour later that i changed it.

Be Aware - as this was not told to me when i cancelled the second night - by the woman who answered the phone. i can already tell i won't like this place - bad service and i'm not even there yet.
