Great location 5 min to beach and near busy stop which takes you to either South Beach or Downtown Miami in 30 mins. Booked on line and it was one of not many US hotels wheee what you paid on line was it - no hidden extra costs. Helpful staff. Room a bit dated and the cleaning could be done with more care. Nonetheless, considering where it is - this was good value for money

I'm staying here right now and love it. The room is spotless and I find the bed comfortable. All the linen is pure white. The towels in the bathroom are also pure white and surprisingly fluffy. It's located on a main road, but the noise has not been a problem for me at all and I have slept quite well (although I did have to turn the A/C off as that was a bit noisy). The location is perfect. It's just a few minutes' walk from the beach. Additionally, there are bus stops close by where you can take either the main metro transit or the free trolleys -- the Collins Express stop heading north is about 1 minute away, and heading south, it's on the street behind, so just a few minutes' walk. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but there are PLENTY of places to eat close by. Every morning I've been to the Broken Eggs Cafe on 67th street - about 5 minutes away. Great food and great staff. Within a few minutes' walk, there are a few restaurants (always full of people) for lunch or dinner (there's a Pizza Hut next door, and a Domino's and Subway about 1 minute away), and within 15 minutes' walk, there are even more, including a Denny's. Manolo's seems very full. There's a laundromat about 15 minutes away as well. There's a Walgreens about 10 minutes away, and just a bit further, there's a Publix supermarket. All the staff I've spoken to have been really friendly. I would definitely come back here without hesitation.

Stayed three nights. In Miami Beach $165/night on average gets you only a basic hotel room in the north part of town. There is a bus stop just across the street when arriving from South Beach or Miami, while in the opposite direction it's a little farther, but still only a 5-7 min walk. The property is overall pretty decent and relatively quiet. To get to the elevator, one has to climb 8 steps, which is very inconvenient with luggage. Another annoyance was that both key cards quit working after two days, even though they had not been anywhere near my phone.
The room was clean and reasonably spacious. The A/C worked reasonably well, although it turned itself to Eco (i.e. off) at night. Good number of power jacks. Amenities included safe (didn't try), minifridge and coffe maker. Well lit desk area. Comfortable bed and pillows.
In the bathroom, there was plenty of hot water, but the shower head was spraying way too wide and couldn't be adjusted.
Wifi worked well the first two days, while the last evening and the following morning it didn't work. The staff appeared uninterested in resolving wifi issues (one person even hung up on me).
Regular check out is at 11:00, however the receptionist agreed to give me 11:30. Nevertheless, I was left fending off calls from other staff members and knocks on the door from housekeeping stating that I was "late".
Overall an ok place to stay considering how ridiculously expensive everything is in Miami Beach.

It was our first time in US and we had a great time! The hotel is situated on North side of Miami Beach with walking distance to the beach - literally 5 minutes, shops are in walking distance, lots of restaurants and bars around, nice and quiet area despite hotel being on the main road. Bus station just over the road with Collins Trolley where ride is for free (look for blue bus). The staff were so friendly and hepful and it makes such a difference to your stay. Regarding cleanliness-we had a nice room with balcony, all bedding and towels were white, bed was comfortable. It could be better with cleaning - the bed wasn’t changed for the whole time we’ve been there (9 nights), floor wasn’t mopped as well (you can imagine all the sand from the beach). So housekeeping could be improved.
But very happy overall, great location, good value for money.
No restaurant so reliable on eating outside, we had a small fridge which was helpful.
A/C was very loud and mouldy inside, so it has been used only when we were out to cool our room down.

We were booked in for a one night stay and yes we did arrive around 8:00 but there is no excuse for booking us into their horrible little rooms up the corridor when they have way better rooms outside.
To make life far worse we were booked into a room with an adjoining room which was full of very noisy youths. The door between the rooms was so ill-fitting a limbo dancer could easily have slid underneath and this did nothing to baffle the noise. Although the air con unit had a good go.
The pool picture on the web site is most misleading; the pool is in the parking lot?!?
The building and the rooms are tired and certainly not the cleanest we visited on this trip.

This hotel is a good option for visiting Miami on a budget.

The hotel has a nice-sized, gated car park. It costs $25/night, but there aren't many other parking options nearby, and it's a cheaper rate than hotels in South Beach.

We checked in, paid for the parking, and went to our room.

Our room was on the first floor, overlooking the pool. There was a short flight of stairs up with no lift.

The room was large and clean with two queen beds. There was a good sized fridge. There was a television, but the picture was very low quality. The air con was decent. The bathroom was a little small, and the shower was prone to flooding the floor, which was a bit annoying.

The hotel has no breakfast, but there are a number of restaurants and a Walgreens and a Publix within 5 mins walk.

The hotel has a pool, and was just a short walk from the beach. North Beach is much cooler in temperature than South Beach, and we found the beach really windy, but we still enjoyed a couple of hours there.

This is a good option if you want to visit South Beach but cannot afford a hotel down there, as it is well-served by both public buses and the free tourist trolley. Catch the bus from the southbound bus stop just behind the hotel. We generally used the city buses as they are much more frequent and take you all the way to downtown without changing. They also run until the early hours of the morning. Just be mindful that the traffic can be pretty horrific in Miami. Unfortunately, our visit coincided with Art Basel which we didn't know about, which massively impacted the traffic all across the city. It took two hours on a Friday night to get from the hotel to the HRC in Miami, but I believe this is atypical.

We were reasonably happy with our stay.

we were booked into this hotel as part of a package with cruise 1st and we were disappointed with this basic oom on ground floor with big window and basic fittings - no tea or coffee making facilities, 2 disposable platic type glasses which were never swapped. Staff were the only saving grace from this hotel. it does have a small pool which was not used by anybody.

he room was more than adequate for our 3 night stay and we were able to keep our suitcases in the room without getting in the way. The fridge was in good working order as was everything within the bathroom. Clean towels were provided and the bed was super comfy. We were given an upgrade with a balcony which was handy too. This place is on Collins Avenue and so is accessed via the free Trolley Tram service from Miami beach. There are enough restaurants and bars along the road and the beach is 5 minutes walk away too. Towels were provided free for our trip to the beach - get a couple each.
Plenty of parking beside the hotel which is paid for separately. Dont worry about the fee because when you get here, you will soon see there is nowhere else to park so its a bargain to have it here for 24hrs at the price charged.

The pictures do not tell the truth. We were accommodated in the main building. The room was small and the basic smell was unpleasant. The air conditioner made a really loud noise. Close to Walgreens and a couple of good restaurants. The bus (Collins express) or the uber is easy to get around. A few nights being ok.

This is my second stay here and have booked another stay for when we return from our cruise.

The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is clean and convenient for what we want. There is places to eat within walking distance and Miami Beach is conveniently located across the road.

The rooms are clean and tidy and have a fridge which is an added bonus could be done with tea/coffee facilities maybe.
