This was a great 3 double bedroom apartment with plenty of space for 6 adults, with plenty of storage.
It was extremely easy to check in and access our room, all the information was clearly provided days beforehand and there was continuous contact throughout our stay either by text or by the app.
Our room had direct access to the pool and the gym was well equipped with a bench and free dumbbells, and also peloton bike and mirror.
We had an minor issue with the bathroom plug, but Sonder sorted it within a day.
The location was good, with Trader Joes on the ground floor and about 25min walk away from Ocean Dr and about 5min walk to Lincoln Rd, and the free Trolley Bus stops just around the corner.
This was my first experience with Sonder, I would definitely use them again.

June- low season Miami Beach: We traveled to South Beach with 6 adults and 3 small children. We rented 2, two bedroom apartments at Sonder 17 West. It was an excellent choice. Loved our stay with the whole family. Thanks Sonder

calmer, quieter section of south beach; can

Price: about $375/day in low season; more in high
season- certainly better than a typical $375 a
night for a small hotel room

This was a great experience, the rooms themselves were very well upkept and decorated. The full kitchen had very nice looking appliances and fixtures too. Being next to Trader Joe's made it very easy to walk over to the store and pick up fresh foods to make meals with. Location is close to South Beach attractions and restaurants as well, making it an entertaining and easy stay. Highly recommend.

Apartment was nothing compared to what was displayed on site. I was under the impression each bathroom had a tub. Pool not easily accessible. The door is jammed, you had to walk all the way to the other side to find entrance which is actually an exit. No guidance, I asked a resident. Prior to finding access to the pool, the management they have listed on duty was not reachable and seemed to have their offices CLOSED on the weekends. An additional $180 taken out of my account for “deep cleaning” in the middle of a pandemic. I am afraid to know how they normally clean if they aren’t “deep cleaning”. Says the $180 was a security deposit, but it was taken out of my account after check-out. Overall not reliable and very shiesty.

The hot water lasted for 5 minutes max so we had cold showers the entire trip. Not enough towels were supplied, our toiletries given were previously used and were not new. The bar of soap had someone else’s hair all over it when I opened the box! The check in process was horrible and I had to wait outside the building for 30+ minutes. The TV in the living room is tiny and doesn’t have channels or smart TVs capabilities (cannot even be used) and there are no TVs in any of the bedrooms.

This location is perfect & it looks exactly like the pictures online. The reservation process was easy & the customer service team was very helpful. They were also available via phone or text to answer questions. The Sonder is directly above a Trader Joe's which is convenient for purchasing water, food/snacks. The Lincoln Rd outdoor mall is across the street & there are tons of places to dine or shop. Lastly, the Sonder is within an appx 1 mile walking distance from South Beach. This was perfect for us because we wanted to be close to the beach but avoid some of the noise of being directly on South Beach. If you decide to stay here you will not be disappointed.

The apartment is spacious. High ceilings, great amenities. We stayed on the 5th floor (top floor) and our apartment had a balcony that was directly connected to the building’s pool. There is a table on the balcony for eating. The apartment came fully stocked with everything. The building’s gym was clean, has peloton and mirror( which is something I always wanted to try).
The location isn’t by the beach but is close for all the bridges that take you to the other side of Miami, near the big malls and restaurants and supermarkets. We only stayed for one night but if I was staying for a long period of time, I would select this location again.

This property is absolutely beautiful. Extra bright, clean and the location was everything. I loved how Trader Joe’s was just a hop away and the staff was very attentive to my needs. Jillian was friendly, gave me superb recommendations and knew the area very well. I will definitely return in the summer.
