We decided to stay here due to overnight convenience from the airport to the cruise port. And with it being Super Bowl, the price was more than fair for our stay. Please know this is an older hotel that is not set up with all the amenities as a 5 star hotel would, so the check in/out process can be challenging due to the logistics of a smaller lobby - not their fault. I think if it wasn't Super Bowl Weekend, the staff would have been less stressed and put a more intended level of service in front of them. (understandably so) but it was still noticed by me that both desk employees were "done" with guests when my family arrived to check in. Also, for those who require an elevator to get up and down floors, this hotel does not offer one. It is only 2 stories, but if you have heavy or a lot of luggage -just make note! Also, due to the hotel being older, while the rooms are ginormous, they show some wear and the toilet/shower area is small. again, not a deal breaker, but just something to note. One last note, this hotel is really convenient to the airport, so it was really easy to get too for the night.

My wife and and I stayed here the night before leaving for our cruise. They have complimentary shuttle to the airport running once every hour. They also shuttle to the Port of Miami for a fee $10 per person. The breakfast was satisfactory. They had Krispy Kreme donuts! There is a nice courtyard with a pool. We enjoyed our layover before the cruise. One thing though, we wanted to wash our travel clothes but the front desk had no quarters to exchange for bills. The room was updated and quaint. The bed was comfortable. Overall a good night stay.

The location is a most if you are looking to stay near to Miami International Airport. Clean room and very comfy bed.
The hotel have a nice Restaurant Bar and the food was really good. Even during the pandemic the crew at the Restaurant was very careful each table was separated by a clear hanging wall. Also the hotel crew were using masks.

I use Miami as a pre-cruise and pre-flight transfer point and have tried several airport hotels. They are mostly “just okay” but this is the first one I really like and would return to. I spent a night here after returning from Aruba and got a great rate. Preflight I had stayed at a hotel a few blocks away and couldn’t get any sleep because of arrests in the parking lot and undesirables shouting obscenities all night. This hotel was quiet and rooms were either inside or secured surrounding the pool. There was a nice warm pool, and sports bar restaurant. A friendly clerk welcomed me. The room was clean. None of the hotels are running shuttles due to the pandemic, but a Lyft back to the airport was only $6.95. If they keep the rates reasonable this will be my first choice in the future.

Our room was so small that the dresser could not have drawers in it or they would hit the bed.
When you opened the bathroom door it hit the vanity and then you had to close the door to wash your hands. I wish I had taken pictures.
Nice pool
Good breakfast
Expect better for the money we spent

I have visited lots of hotels, and the closest one I have experienced similar to this one before was a rundown hotel I once stayed in Peru. This is probably a 2 or 3 star hotel if you compare it to overseas hotels in Latin America, but this is one of worst three hotels I've stayed in within the United States. Judging by the hotel's 3.5 overall rating at the time I am writing this, the hotel must have used to be something special, and I wish I had stayed here then.

First, before my flight to Miami took off, I tried calling to verify my room as I had a late arrival and I had seen from previous reviews that they sometimes give your room away. I tried calling three different times and each time it rung and rung and rung with no answer. I had let it ring several times each time. Finally when my plane did land around 11:30 at night, I called and after several minutes of ringing someone answered my call with two words - please hold. After several more minutes of waiting, I was relieved to hear they didn't give my room away. I asked for a shuttle and the guy said no problem someone would be there in ten minutes. After waiting for fifteen minutes (11:45 now) I called back and he apologized and said the shuttle just left and should be there any minute now. Finally at 12:10 after midnight the shuttle had arrived. Please keep in mind I had seen many other hotel shuttles come and go two to three times while I was waiting. When the shuttle finally arrived, unsurprisingly the driver didn't speak English. Once I got to the hotel (only about a five to ten minute drive from the airport), the man at the front desk mentioned the shuttle leaves each hour on the hour to go to the airport which I can immediately figure out is why the shuttle arrived ten minutes after midnight and made me immediately hate this guy at the front desk who was the same guy who had told me at 11:30 that the shuttle would be there in ten minutes even though he must have known it wouldn't have left the hotel until midnight.

The hotel itself appeared to be missing housekeepers as the hallways clearly had not been cleaned in a long time, and unfortunately the room was no different. Normally this wouldn't be a huge concern to me but with the Coronavirus killing more and more people each day, I badly wished I had paid a few dollars more to stay at a place where I wasn't risking my life.

After sleeping, I went back to the lobby to check out the free breakfast. The guy at the lobby mentioned they are doing to go breakfasts, and he handed me a bag that I carried back to the room to open. The breakfast was a small muffin, a cup of mixed fruit, and a cup of juice.

Even though the experience overall was terrible, the hotel was very, very cheap which I am sure many people are willing to overlook some of the negative things, but I hope nobody thinks this hotel is worthy of a 3.5 rating when they book their room.

I had a great experience at Ramada Miami Airport, Fast check in, large room front desk staff are the best with attention to details. Rooms are clean with clean bed sheets and sanitizers in the common areas, all staff was seen using masks. Great restaurant on site, you don't need to leave the Hotel. Close to the airport, I waited less than 10 minutes for the hotel free shuttle service.

Got there early asked for early check in & was told its $20 even tho never told me when I called to ask about early check in. Only had 1 room available so couple we were traveling with had to wait. The room was TINY & CARPETS FILTHY, had to put towels down plus it was next to laundry. Had to room to move with 2 suitcases a wheelchair & carry on. Plus laundry women were loud.told them do not want that room on return from cruise. No early check in went at 310pm only 1 room available & was told other would b ready in 10 mins needless to say was much longer. Got a much bigger room, no carpet which was very nice but in pool area. Pool sign says open 9a-ok. Had a bunch of punks drunk yelling and talking very loud. Called front desk 2x they said they would go ask them to not tell n talk lower. This was after 10pm. Finally 1120pm went to desk for a total refund because could not sleep & had to get up at 3am. No refund given and noise went on til 12am when they sa aid they could kick them out even though sign say otherwise for open hour. The restaurant associated with the hotel had good food but crappy help. No slushy drinks and couldn't even make a mai tai,in miami? Not very happy with stay at all. Waiting on email from my complaint as the least they could do is give me a free nite stay at any ramada.

This only a two story ramada. It has no elevator so request ground floor. We shared largest room by pool for one night before cruise. Lots room with 2 queen beds, sink, refrigerator, microwave, and separate bathroom. Actually really clean ,but furniture was dated. The breakfast was good and well stocked. It has a sports bar attached to it and food was actually good. McDonald s and gas station on other side to walk to. The shuttle to cruise was 10 dollars a person and ran at 10,11,and 12. For the price it was a good stay. I gave it a 4 because we also booked it for when we came in from cruise for a night. Had talked older man at desk and asked for same room on return stay. So we were told we could wait for room. We did wait claimed room wasn't ready we sat till almost 4 oclock and the room was ready at noon. This is a older hotel and it does need some attention.

The shuttle only leaves the hotel at the top of the hour, arriving at airport hotel pickup area about 15 after the hour. The pick area is ground floor outside of baggage claim. Ask anyone there where is the pickup area for all hotels. Call the hotel once you get your luggage, to tell them you’re waiting. Look for the Ramada van and flag it down.

We had a lot of difficulty with the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. When we finally got to where we had to meet the shuttle, it passed us by two or three times. Turns out it was full from previous stops and didn't even stop to tell us! I don't know how late the shuttles run. I think we just followed the signs to the hotel shuttle pick up. When we got outdoors, we had to cross the road and wait with everyone else waiting for a hotel shuttle - and there are many shuttles that stop by at this stop. If you haven't booked the hotel, I suggest you find another one. We didn't like this one at all. Our room was smaller than a cruise cabin (although, walking down the hall and peeking in rooms on the way by, many rooms were larger) When we got back from the cruise we stayed down the street, about a block away at a Wyndham Garden inn. Much nicer. Shuttle was good from the Wyndham Garden Inn going back to the airport.

Yes, it runs ever hour about 10 minutes after the hour all day and night. So you should be good for flights around and after midnight. There will be a shuttle at 00:10 and 01:10 am
