Very nice hotel in a great location. It was across the street from a Publix and several restaurants for getting food and anything you needed. Nice pool in the hotel. We came in on a Friday and we're invited to a managers reception. Very nice buffet and friendly staff. Breakfasts were included and had average Hampton Inn selections. Shuttle to the cruise pier in April cost $10 per person. Very quick and stress free ride to the pier. The hotel even offered us umbrellas to use while headi g over to Publix. There is a sundry shop that sold treats and even beer and wine. Free shuttle from airport to hotel. Our room was nice and clean. We would definitely stay here again if we were back in Miami again . Very friendly staff at desk and during breakfasts.

This is a typical Hampton Inn - Two couples coming in to Miami the day before cruise. Unfortunately for us, we had chosen the same weekend as the Super Bowl and All of the Miami hotels were triple their normal price and many were full. We found a suite room for 4 (one king bedroom and living area with full fold-out couch, kitchenette, table and chairs) here. What makes the hotel so great is the staff. We were greeted with friendly smiles and allowed to check into our room early at no extra fee (we are Hilton honors members). Friday evening there was complimentary finger foods and drinks in the breakfast area with live music! A solo singer, guitar/harmonica player who did many of our favorite songs and a serving staff who put out a beautiful display of appetizers with wine, beer. Delightful! The next morning the same server staff was up and again with smiles and a beautiful breakfast buffet (omelets, potatoes, waffles,bacon, oatmeal, dry cereals, bagels, fresh fruits, muffins, sweet rolls, and even Mimosas!) Because it was Super Bowl weekend they had even decorated with Chiefs and 49ers paper plates, napkins and balloons. Again, the staff made it great - smiles and all checking to make sure we had plenty! Many thanks especially to Nora, Lola, and Aime for all of their hospitality. And congratulations to the hotel manager for hiring such great people! Even though the cost was high due to the Super Bowl weekend rates, there was good value. Would definitely stay here again.

Our flight cancelled
And we needed a hotel. We only had a few items in our carryon as we weren’t expecting to be stuck in Miami for the night.
BOTTOM LINE:
Hotel is great. They pick you up and drop you off at the airport.
Grocery store across the street, along with a lot of restaurant choices including a good Cuban restaurant. All within a few minute walk. They also provide toothbrush and toothpaste if needed. Very clean hotel. Bathrooms are brightly lit. Plus they also have filtered water on the second floor so they’re not trying to kill the environment selling you $3 bottles of water.
I’m now a Hampton fan whenever I need a room. They were great to us when we were out of options and for that I will always seek them out when needed.

We were staying in this hotel twice, two nights prior to our cruise and one night after it.
It's a classic Hampton, just alike many we stayed all over the US in previous years.
Location is nice, close to airport (they have free shuttle we didn't use) and highway connecting you wherever you wanna go. Many dining options around in walking distance as well the CVS.
Lobby is quite small, check in fast. We got a new renovated room on 3 floor, which looked nice, but with a heavy paint smell we didn't like at all. Asked to change, they said they had no other available (doubt it).
Breaksfast is ordinary American, OK to get the day started. Nice pool area with a decent size pool and jacuzzi aside. Covered free parking with easy access was great.
My biggest complaint is the luggage issue we had, about which we were misled and felt cheated and disappointed at the end.
We chose this hotel for both our stays (prior and after cruise) in order to leave 2-3 small bags in it when checking out first time. We're coming from Europe, there's much luggage for our family of 4 and we didn't want to occupy our small cabin room with it. Prior to booking they confirmed us it's OK in a phone call, NO mention about charges.
When checking out the first time, kind and always smiling lady Indy, accepted our 2 small luggages (cabin size ones) without a problem saying nothing again about charges and we drove away for our 5 days Florida tour prior to cruise.
After those 5 days we drove back to the hotel, on a cruise day to leave one more same size piece. Another receptionist (so sorry I didn't remember her name as I was in a rush for the port) told us there's a charge of 5$ per piece per day !!! We were shocked first time hearing that.
We argued with her, mentioning the phone call, Indy who told us it's OK, showed my Honors card, she was deaf for all that. Best she offered was not to charge those 2 pieces we left for these 5 days, but if we want to leave them during the cruise we must pay. Insisting on the previous I tried to explain her again when she arrogantly asked if we wanted to pay or to take them.
I was stunned with such a behaviour, but again rushing to port I didn't have time to call the manager.
We collected our luggage and felt cheated and sorry at the same time for not being able to cancel the after cruise reservation as we booked a non refundable rate on Hilton website.
Very bad customer approach from that receptionist made me write my first bad review for Hampton.

I would like to preface this review that my family were only in Miami one night as we transferred to an early flight the following day. We planned on staying at the Embassy suites next to the airport however with so many convenience stores and one my favorite takeout chains, Pollo Tropical, next door, we decided to stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites.

The hotel is located 5 min from the airport but we had to wait over an hour for the shuttle bus to pick us up. I was so frustrated that we ended up taking a Lyft to the hotel as I want my kids to be able swim with what remaining day light was available.

At check in they more worried about letting the van driver know we were no longer at the airport than checking us in after waiting outside in Miami heat at the airport for over an hour.

Once we got to the double queen room and I was very ready to have a drink, there was only 1 paper cup in the entire room. Which was not the end of the world but annoying after traveling since 6 am.

We finally made it to the pool at 7:30. The pool was great but the hot tub was out of commission. Which again was annoying. I personally was looking forward to a relaxing soak in the hot tub after a long day of traveling.

After swimming, we went back to the room to shower. We noticed there was only two bath towels in the room. Which again is just annoying.

The hotel has obviously been remodeled recently and is fairly nice. Unfortunately everything else was a fail as far as I’m concerned. The one van that is only meant to run at the top of the hour when the hotel is literally 5 min away blows me away the most.

On the bright side Pollo Tropical dinner was great, but as a Hilton gold member I was super disappointed in literally everything else.

Celebrated New Years with family and friends on Norwegian Escape Cruise. This hotel offers a great park, stay and cruise package. We drove from New Jersey and stayed one night before departing for our cruise from Miami cruise port. We left our cars parked at the hotel in a gated garage (no extra charge). The hotel offers round trip transportation to the cruise pier (about 20 minutes). Two guest are free one-way but must pay $10.00 to return back to hotel. Additional guest must pay $20 round trip. The hotel suites were modern, clean and spacious. The breakfast was average (scramble eggs, bacon, waffles, bagels, cereal). Hotel has a nice clean pool and jacuzzi. In the breakfast area they have toys for children to play with. There are several restaurants, stores, CVS and Walgreens across the street. The hotel service was great. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

You can't go wrong with Hampton Inn. They are always clean and comfortable, and the staff is always friendly. This hotel was no exception. They allowed us to check in early and were very helpful with everything we needed. The parking is free, gated, and has both indoor and outdoor lots. We felt very safe as all staff and most guests were masked and safety protocols were followed. This included housekeeping upon request only, which they informed us of as soon as we arrived. On one day, our room was only half done when we returned late in the afternoon, but one call to the front desk brought a quick response from housekeeping to finish the job and an explanation for the delay (a broken washing machine). The only other issue was that we were not able to adjust the air conditioning in the room off of the 'auto' setting and so it was warmer than we would have liked. The breakfast was standard. The fitness center was fairly spacious and clean and had good equipment. The hotel is very close to the airport and is near a supermarket, pharmacies, and fast-food chains. To reiterate, the staff was excellent! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice Hampton with usual amenities. We selected the Stay and Cruise option which included convenient, covered parking the whole 12 days we were gone. It also included a free shuttle to the port and the same service picked you up when we returned for $12 per person! All we had to do was call the service when we were disembarking. There were 3 restaurants in the shopping center across the street—Cuban, Italian and Mexican. Very good breakfast the following morning. We would highly recommend this hotel.

I travel for business across the country and this Hampton Inn & Suites has many advantages: location near the airport, safe and free garage parking, truly super clean, spacious, quiet, updated rooms and outstanding hotel staff! There is a shopping plaza including restaurants and a supermarket right across the street. We stayed here 3 nights and had breakfast at the hotel every day. Nora worked in the breakfast area in such an organized fashion it was fast and easy to get what you wanted to eat and feel safe! The front desk team, Jennifer, Front Office Manager, and Julissa, Sales Coordinator, were awesome! Jennifer made checking in fast, fun and easy! She shared great suggestions and advice regarding places to visit and eat. It makes such a difference when the staff really cares about the guest experience and leads from the front like Jennifer does! She is a Rockstar!

Heads up, the Wi-Fi speed was not up to Hilton standards during our stay. It was way too slow. The hotel staff shared they are currently working on improving that and have contacted their Wi-Fi provider.

We will be returning to this location on our next Miami trip.

Highly recommend this hotel. Anna and her team are both professional and courteous. The shuttle from the airport was convenient and on time...they really do leave every hour. I booked two rooms thru the Hilton app and was able to check in and get our room keys in advance...very convenient. After our cruise was over again Anna and the team proved most accommodating by allow us to store our bags and catch the shuttle back to the airport.

The hotel has been completely renowned and is beautiful. Although we were close to the airport you cannot hear any aircraft while in the hotel. I notice all the windows were double insulated and did a great job keeping the place quiet and comfortable.

For cruisers they have a shuttle service that leaves at 11am for $10 per person. Not a bad value and about the same as an Uber or Lift if there aren't to many of you. We caught a Lift XL back for $35 as there were 5 of us....just FYI.

Overall don't miss out on thus gem with plenty of restaurants within walking distance and Dominos is across the road for delivery or walkin as well.
