A slightly used resort nestled in the bosom of paradise! The pool and hot tubs are great. The food is reasonably priced as are the (rental) beach chairs. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are only two elevators, so be patient. After check in day things go very smoothly and quickly.
On a clear day you can see Cuba (just kidding) and the whale watching was phenomenal (That’s totally not true) But you will see many dolphin pods, people strolling the beach and fishermen trying their luck in the surf. Marco is a low key, relaxing beach experience. Just go and chill, you will love it at Eagles Nest.
This is my 30th year visiting Eagles Nest, and also, I own a week…my family loves it!

We come every year as trade ins. We absolutely love EN! We were impressed by the cleanliness, the elevator rules of 3 per elevator or a family only. There were several hand sanitizer dispensers in the common areas but i didn’t see any at the pool area. The loungers were spread out at the pool area which was nice! It looked beautiful and nicely maintained! The unit seemed impeccably cleaned, we were so impressed! At the beginning of our week most guests wore masks. As the week went on, I guess people got comfortable and I saw less mask wearing which became uncomfortable. The staff had masks at their chins mostly except for housekeeping. I saw them wearing their masks properly. There is a glass barrier at the front desk but they were generally not wearing their masks. A blonde staff (maybe a realtor/sales lady) walked within a foot of my unit door as I was exiting it one morning. I had my mask on and she and her client did not. I said hello, she ignored and walked by, not moving an inch. In these times, even if masks are not your thing, working in a Hilton run properly a mask should be worn. The friendliness factor would be nice to adhere to as well! Overall it was a nice stay. I just wish the staff had set a better precedent with mask wearing. It shows a commitment to safety, respect, and professionalism during these times. This may have even encouraged guests to wear theirs more as well.
On a side note, the continued improvements to the building and property look amazing.

We stayed at Eagles Nest during the Covid 19 Pandemic at the end of August in 2020. First off the unit was spotless. The door was sealed with a tape that said it was cleaned and inspected. All of the dishes were in the dishwasher. Just cleaned washed. We had a two bedroom unit facing the ocean in the tower building. It was on the second floor of condos but really about the fourth floor. The garage was first then the lobby. The view was really pretty. The unit was well kept and had plenty of dishes, towels and supplies. The staff was friendly and helpful. The furniture was in good condition and the floors were all tile and very clean. The beach at Marco Island was lovely. First the sand clean and never got hot. The water was in the low nineties and somewhat see through. I have seen it cleaner in the winter and spring but still very clean . It was off season for Florida but the area was beautiful. Many restaurants were running specials. So we were very happy. Snooks restaurant had music nightly and others had music over the weekend.

Unit was immaculate. Not one spot of dust or dirt anywhere - in the corners, ceilings, etc. Two things I didn't like: (1) only a handful of carts were available for 70 units located on 10 floors. People would take them into their units the day before checkout and never bring them back until 9 a.m. the following morning. Thus no carts for anyone else to use. You need more carts, and a sign that tells people NOT to hoard them in their unit if they are not using them. (2) Excessive "entertainment" in the pool. From around 10:00 until 4, something was always going on in the pool. i.e, Volleyball takes 2 3 of the pool. Even if you are elsewhere in the pool you can be hit by the stray ball. And also the music that they now play from 2 to 4 is very annoying and very loud. How can they do this if the "Pool Rules" say that no radios can be played unless you use your headphones. Not everyone likes the music that is DJ'd, and it is so very LOUD that twice I was driven from the pool area where I wanted to relax, swim, and enjoy my book. Went back to my unit on the 6th floor, tried to sit on the lounge in the lanai, but the music was still too loud up there.

We really love this Hilton Vacation property. Staff is wonderful, check in was flawless, elevators (2) were fast and efficient when needed. The entire resort including pool and pool area were clean and well kept. Sufficient number of gas grills were available every night when needed. On day one we rented and reserved beach umbrellas and chairs for each day we were there. Every morning the beach umbrellas were setup in the same location for easy access. The beach area was clean, not crowded and perfect every day. I would say simply we had a perfect beach vacation and we are looking forward to next year to repeat the experience. Thank you Eagles Nest.

Resort was absolutely immaculate, staff were all friendly, attentive and helpful. Did not feel crowded even though it was a holiday weekend and only one elevator due to renovations. As others have mentioned, there does not appear to be handicap access to pool/beach areas although was not a problem for us. Kitchen was helpful as there are not any food options on property. Pool cafe very affordable but is only open 5 days/week and you are limited to whatever is their special that day (i.e. burgers, pizza , tuna melt, etc.) Many supermarkets nearby, we did groceries for breakfast and lunch options, and ate out for dinner. Strongly suggest to make dinner reservations as the best restaurants are fully booked in advance, and most places close fairly early (at least by Miami standards!) The parking situation is VERY strict however, so it is best to only bring one car.

My family and I have been going to Marco Island for 20 years, we absolutely love the island, however we were never fortunate enough to find available units with our timeshare exchange, luckily we were able to find Eagle's Nest this year and jumped at the opportunity, we stayed in a villa from August 7th to 14th, the decor was beautiful, and the view was spectacular. The location is second to none. A few complaints though, with the exception of one, the front desk staff were quite rude. The parking situation is horrible, we had 3 families coming from different places at different times and there was only parking for 1 vehicle, parking passes for additional vehicles were tentatively available from the Monday at a cost of $12.50 per day (we arrived on Friday) letters were placed on the windshields saying that the car would be towed if it did not have a parking decal on the dash, we were never able to receive one as they were waiting for people to check out. (I guess no one checked out) The dishwasher in our unit never worked, a maintenance guy came after we called twice to report it, he said that he would come back to make sure it worked, he never came back and it never worked. I would certainly stay at EN again, and would recommend but please work on the hospitality make sure your appliances are working and the make more space for parking.

Just came back from our first stay at the Eagles Nest and had an overall enjoyable stay. The unit was perfectly sized for my family of 4 and and the location can’t be beat. Our unit and all common areas we kept very clean.

The one thing that did disappoint my family was the lack of adherence to covid related safety recommendations in the hotel. We’re currently at a peak in FL yet most staff & many guests were not wearing masks either at their stations or in the elevators (!). This made trips to and from my room challenging at times as I did not feel comfortable sharing an enclosed space with unmasked strangers. I understand that the county has not mandated these precautions like many others have, but I was still expecting more encouragement from a Hilton affiliated hotel. If I had an underlying health issue, I probably would have cut my stay short.

Our family of 5 stayed here for the first time 4 years ago and loved every minute. Fast forward to June 2020 where we decided to come back with just the 13 year old son and his friend. We stayed in a villa last time, but only tower units were available so this was our first time dealing with maintenance, elevators, etc. Elevators were slow (which we had been warned about by some owner friends) but a couple times during our week, one of the elevators was down so 70 condos dealing with only 1 elevators was not fun. They were also doing some concrete work on the outside of the building, but we were on the other end so it really didn't bother us too much. Since we are still in the middle of COVID-19, the poor snack bar was closed- which was disappointing since we loved the convenience of grabbing a quick lunch while enjoying the pool. They also had a limited activities schedule. However, racquetball, pool tables, tennis, and shuffleboard were all still available so the boys had plenty to do. It appears that some renovations have been done to the rooms, post Hurricane Irma. All in all it was a good week.

Been coming here for years, although first visit since covid. Somewhat disappointing this year. Beautiful place, parking is very scarce if you have friends visit. They charge $12.50 a day for guest parking if you are lucky enough to get a pass, they are scarce. They refer you to 3 spots offsite, average $20 a day to park. Snack bar for food and drinks was never open all weekend. Things have changed quite a bit at this resort although still enjoyable.

You can bring your own beach gear but we rented chairs and an umbrella from a guy set up right on the beach at Eagles Nest. He is not affiliated with EN but has his storage shed right there. It is an added expense but it was really nice to have our spot all set up each day without packing chairs back and forth.
