I’ve included a picture of my view from the tub. The hotel is still clean despite someone forgetting to clean the front of the bowl. It doesn’t include breakfast. Only a coffee machine or you may have a tea. There is laundry, gym, and pool. My room faced I-4 and the cars zoomed all night long. If you are a light sleeper I would try to request a room in the front.

I truly expected less of this hotel, considering the price compared to other hotels in the area. However, we were more than happy with everything. The room is very large and contains a full kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the towels were luxurious. Instead of the little bottles of toiletries used by most hotels, this shower has containers of shampoo, conditioner and body wash that hang in the showerl and you squeeze out what you want. So much nicer. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The area is very nice, and there are many restaurant choices nearby. Since this is an extended stay type of hotel, they do not offer a complimentary breakfast. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We have been IHG members for a long time & this is the only IHG property right in this area so we chose it. We have been at other Candlewood Suites & like that we can get the full size fridge/microwave & separate living room & bedroom. When we stay more than one night this is always the way we go. The place is clean but could use some updating of the furniture. The bed not quite as comfortable as other IHG's but okay. Towels were very nice. Strange though in the kitchen they had 1 knife/fork/spoon when they knew they were two of us as well as 3 plates/cups/glasses. Figured it would be 2 or 4. Had to ask for a tv guide as none in room. Nothing walkable but lots a short drive away. Worst part is the noise so if you book ask for an even number room as they are on the other side of building from I 4. I was disappointed as a Spire Elite that they did not give us a non road room.

I'm not PLEASESED at All!!!
Arrived on 3/31 Parking is limited, upon going into my room the smell of “moth balls” Ewww $312 for two nights, and then the room smells horrible, I went to the front desk and complained about the smell ( night attendant) did not know what moth balls were. So went to publix to purchase a can of sanitizer spray and air freshers and a bottle of Clorox cleaning spray for the tub.
Not only that No ice machine (WTH) no continental breakfast “ only tea/coffee”! This is ridiculous. On day two before leaving for your city I spoke with the front desk lady with braids that I left the towels outside of the door for fresh ones that were around 8:30 this morning, came back around 3ish the towels were gone from in front of the door but No fresh ones. The the housekeeper was in the hallway I told her that I needed fresh towels and she said shell get some, I asked how long she said 10 minutes it took 15 by that time I took a shower I was hot/sweaty. Looking outside the door no towels. I called the front desk to complain about the service (to no avail) the towels were thrown in front of the door open coming from downstairs. I'm so disappointed in this short vacation. Not only that the smell in the rooms is stomach nauseous. I'm very upset and I'll be writing more reviews and I'm going to file a complaint.
They Need Hotel Impossible needs to come to investigate. What a waste of money! I'll be heading back home. I've never heard of a hotel that has a poolside and doesn't have an “IceMachince”!
Just FYI “candle Wood hotel” is white and Not colorful and it's a breach of trust between customers because the “pictures “ you have on your site don't match the rooms in person. This is highway robbery. I would not be visiting “Lake Mary or Ocala ever Again!!!

They claim they renovated but I think that only included a little paint on the walls. The ceiling in the bathroom was black in most places and covered in mold and mildew. The room smelled so bad I had to go down to the local CVS drug store and purchase a glade plug-in. The office staff was rude and not very helpful. When we arrived with our family of 4 we found only 2 bath towels and when we asked for more they said they didn't have any more they could give from laundry. The hotel was very dirty and the halls smelled like cigarette smoke! I wish I would have taken pictures to share but please take my word for it.

My daughter and I stayed here prior to an early flight. The check in was ok, but all in all, we did not get a good feeling about the hotel. I would not have wanted to stay there alone. When we got to our room, there was a distinct air freshener smell. The bed was comfortable enough, but was noisy due to a busy road nearby. When we woke up in the morning, there was a cockroach in the sink. Do not recommend this hotel and would definitely not stay there again. It is not up to IHG standards.

The room reeked of some cleaner to the point we all got headaches. We went to the front desk to share with them this issue, and they gave us a can of Lysol spray and told us that housekeeping was booked up for the next day. The room smelled like wet, dogs, the ac was smelly as well.. The room looked pleasing as we walked in, but when you went to use the towel rack on the bathroom, it fell off the wall, the wood on the door is chipped and didn’t close. The hotel room just felt dirty.

We booked a 1 night stay due to repairs at our home. We booked the suite with Orbitz and upon our arrival there was a few people in front of the entrance smoking weed and cigs that I had to walk my kids through. Granted the men apologized for it. When we entered the room the smell was horrific and I immediately walked to the front desk where I explained the situation to the front desk. Her reply was I can spray some air freshener and I'm like to make my family of 5 gag even more just place us in another room. Unfortunately all the rooms were booked so I called Orbitz. Orbitz called the front desk on our behalf and was given the option to leave without a refund. We arrived with kids 5-9years of age at 11pm my kids had begun to fall asleep but was awakened by a phone call around 12am from the lady at the front desk. She had called 3 times because the phone connection was poor and kept disconnecting so she called my cellphone to yell at me for calling Orbitz and stated I offered you some spray. I'm like REALLY Heffa you woke up my kids for that. (CLICK) I will never book here again and would recommend somewhere else. We left and went to my in laws who had little space but better than sleeping there. No refund and could not give feedback through orbitz because they removed it. I was not going to let this experience go unnoticed.

Checked in and the rooms microwave was not working. . GFI plug was shot. They came and repaired it and brought a microwave to replace the one there already. It had no rotation plate or device to rotate anything and it started to smoke, The bathroom was old and needed a new shower unit it. The sink faucet was loose and leaked. The room was supposedly a Handicapped room, however the toilet was very short and not adequate for anyone with a disability. The shower unit had a Curtin but it leaked water out onto the floor. We had to put down towels to soak it up when showering. TV set in the living area had a remote, but no remote for the bedroom. Kitchen was not well stocked with dishware , pots and pans, etc. We were there for 2 weeks and the room is only cleaned and changed out once a week. This property needs some serious maintenance and upgrading. We will not be be staying there again on our next annual visit.

We had originally booked a room at a Holiday Inn express that apparently was under construction and wouldn't be ready for our visit, so we were given rooms here at the Candlewood suites, Lake Mary.
My family and I came to Florida for a big family reunion and needed a place close to Sanford airport just for one night.
We were very happy with the neatness, comfort, cleanliness and friendly staff.
