Due to the current COVID19 issue, it is unfair to truly critic my stay at the Hyatt, since it was under unusual circumstances. Overall, the experience was doable. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast offered quality products at a limited amount and ended earlier than the average. By 9:00 am everything displayed earlier was all tucked away. For those interested in wearing masks, don't worry, you were called out, if you didn't wear one even by the maintenance crew. The pool area is very small, closed in and next to a parking lot. They provided good service at the front desk, but the overall ambiance and feel walking thru the lobby and hallway was a bit cold. Probably because there was hardly no type of decor displayed and it didn't provide any type of invitation to sit and relax in the lobby, hence, hardly anyone was around. Quite sure this is not what I would like to look forward to when traveling. I love traveling, but not this way. You are not living if you let fear take control and allow others to thrive on your loss.

i always stay here and i miss the old front desk managers. Annette and Laurence. This past week we checked in and found things very different. i asked for hypoallergenic pillows and was given sofa cushions with pillow cases. the new front desk managers had very little control over guests with children playing football in the lobby. Had to ask them to ask the children to stop playing with the ball. Children playing shooting games on business computer kiosk at top volume. Children running the halls at night unsupervised by their parents. i was very disappointed. i contacted Annette who helped us as always by apologizing for our inconvenience and giving us bonus points for our stay. Annette always makes us feel like part of the hyatt place family. Thankful she is still there to help us.

Hosted a 2 day meeting here for a group 25 people. Annette, Edwin, Collington and Tahira went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Annette and Edwin were very attentive in helping prepare the conference in the weeks leading up to the event. The conference space was set up for us prior to our arrival with waters, notepads and pens. A/V equipment was provided for our use. Annette set up dinner reservations at a nearby restaurant and arranged shuttles for the team to and from dinner. Breakfast was delicious and had options suited to everyone's needs. the conference space was refreshed for us on our second day with additional notepads, pens and waters. Coffee was plentiful and the staff were happy to make us espressos and cappuccinos on request. Rooms were clean, spacious and inviting. Overall, a great experience. Big thanks to the incredible staff!

Hotel is clean - housekeeping does a solid job.
WIFI is not super fast, but consistent. Staff is professional.
AC Units are adequate but do not evenly cool the room. Water pressure in shower and sink is weak and needs to be addressed ASAP. Breakfast needs work as two days in a row I grabbed a pint of milk, opened, sipped and....sour!

This Hotel always goes the “Extra Mile” for the customer needs…
Rooms are exceptionally clean and the overall Hotel noise is very modest. Also has a great breakfast spread every morning on time. They practice the rules with regards to COVID-19 requirements

For my daughter's wedding, we checked out 4 hotels in the area and Hyatt Place Lake Mary was by far the best offering spacious suite style rooms, cleanliness, excellent service, breakfast, space in lobby for family to gather, talk, eat, and drink. It was our home away from home and was so easy to get to all of the wedding events that were within a couple of miles of hotel. Before and after the events, we just enjoyed grabbing a drink from the bar and some snacks and just hanging out talking until wee hours of the night. The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was equally as clean.

I grew up in this area and still live not far away so I know the area probably better than most. It's a safe, upscale area, convenient to I-4 and lots of good restaurants. Best shops and restaurants are found going north on International Drive across from the hotel or going east down Lake Mary Boulevard.
Positives of the hotel are that it is clean, comfortable beds, breakfast is included and there is no charge for parking. For us being pet friendly was a huge plus. Also a plus was that our pet found no hiding spots in the room so we didn't have to fight or move furniture to retrieve them when needed. This hotel is set back off Lake Mary Boulevard a bit in a treed area with low traffic so we found it very quiet.
On the down side I thought it strange that there was no microwave in the room. There is a mini fridge. Also no sink except for the one in the bathroom area. The breakfast selection was good but the hot items were not hot. There is a microwave in the breakfast area just remember to plate hot and cold items separately so you can use the microwave. The hotel advertises an on site restaurant but that is a bit of a stretch though I didn't test it out - it appeared you might be able to have the person at the bar heat something up if requested and there were some muffins and cookies for sale but that seemed to be the limit for purchasing food.

This hotel was recommended to me by someone who stays here the night prior to the train ride south. I thought I’d give it a try. One of the best decisions I’ve made as a frequent traveler. The hotel is beautifully furnished and new. The staff was amazingly helpful. Also the rate for being an Amtrak passenger was a real bonus and better than any other discount for which I was eligible. Win-win!

Great location, value and property. Clean, courteous personnel who were always available to answer a quick question and also made special trip to get additional breakfast items when requested. Bar was well stocked in the lobby too. I didn't use the amenities but I'd expect nothing less. Bed was perfect for my sleep, slept like a baby!

No they do not. The maintenance guys and I talked a little about this. Exit lighting and EXIT signs are battery back up units. When and if there is a power outage the property is completely without power. Good luck and safe travels.

It's a very well maintained property, all the rooms are nice and look very fresh and new.
Depends on your choice, although there are not too many floors but it' always nice to be on the topmost floor.
All the rooms have a walk in shower. There is no need to request for it.
