What a great little hole in the wall place with a fabulous view of the water; slider tables, inside or outside choices for eating and terrific service by Kim. There is a wonderful little walkway through the mangroves down to the water and the pub was featured in the television series Bloodline. The grilled fish sandwich was very nice and well priced and my husband had a side salad that was a great bargain for $4.95. Wine by the glass was affordable at 6:50 a glass. What a great chill little place in the Florida Keys!

We stayed here 3 nights last week . The rooms were clean and surprisingly nice! We had a private patio outback with a shower and a beautiful path with flowers and cool plants which lead to a clean, quiet pool! We don’t drink but the outdoor bar looked like a great time and the fire pit was very cool. This place was great ! Definitely a find! The staff are friendly and laid back!

Our party had booked two rooms in Islamorada on the way to Key West. When we pulled into the parking lot, we were not quite sure if we were going to be fully satisfied as the inn sits close to the highway. We were quickly reminded to not judge a book by its cover. Sometimes we all need this little reminder. After checking in to our room through the sports pub, we went into the rooms that were so nicely decorated with a wonderful beach theme. Each room was fully equipped with all the amenities you needed, shampoo, conditioner, coffee. We each had our own back patio that led to a beautiful pool and view of the open waters. The path from the pool lead to the outdoor restaurant and lounge where we enjoyed drinks and food. It did not hurt knowing that the pub is focused on the Steelers as we are from Pittsburgh. We would highly recommend the Ocean View Inn and Sports Pub. The front of the inn may be full of all things busy, but the inside and back of the inn is full of foliage, peacefulness and beauty. ENJOY!

This place was so much fun especially if you liked to watch sports on tv. The dolphin fingers and pork sliders were delicious and the beer was cold. Came back here three times in our six night stay. Will come back again for sure when we come this way again.

Cool bar & restaurant where locals go. Loved the outdoor back patio. Nice view. Some people brought their dogs, which was cool. Never went inside. Food was inexpensive and good. (Happy hour 4-7). One person had conch fritters, another had a Cuban sandwich. Only problem was they forgot a fish sandwich. Oh well. Simple mistake. Fries were perfect and very crispy.

Stayed at the OV in March, hotel was nice, but allowing the pool to be used by people off the street (or boat) wasn't very nice. Hotel residents sometimes couldn't find chairs because of all the people came off the street and brought lots of children with them. One kid was naked and pissed on the pool deck, Parent didn't care. Apparently, husbands? were at the bar making it acceptable.
Restaurant was a disappointment, was there on St. Pats day, sat down and watched the one server taking shoots with patrons while we sat. 3 tables sat down around us and got served before we caught a sleeve and got some menus. Then the food, please check the photos of Cuban and Rueben, they explain it all. The Cuban was sent back because it was burnt and lacked any meat. and cost $12.95. The second came and still lacked content. I would have described it as a grilled cheese and ham!! "Stacked high" all 3/4" of it. My sister got the Rueben and it only had a single string of sauerkraut? For $16.95!! My advice is get the burger! The only good thing about the day was Saul, the bartender and all around good guy.

Quite worn room. I can not understand the sea view. Expensive for having such a poor standard. The restaurant where we ate in the evening was very loud and not particularly good food, not a place I would recommend. There is no beach, only a jetty that leads through a mango grove to a boat jetty.

Have to write this review to say we loved it here! We were not expecting much and based on some reviews we were a bit worried but our stay was amazing!
The room is good size. Very cute. Mini fridge. Full length mirror. Outside private patio with 4 chairs. Cute little path to the pool. Pool water was very clean. Pool was nice but a bit on the chilly side for me. Not busy at all.
The bar it is attached to has a great outdoor area. Nice bartenders. Good crowd. Appeared to be alot of locals which was great talking to.
A dock you can walk out on to see the water.
I would not hesitate to stay here again. If I had one negative it would be that there are no other bars or restaurants in walking distance due to the busy road. But the bar on site does serve food and there are many many many places a 5 minute drive from the motel.

After eating much seafood in the Keys, I was ready for a juicy steak! Thursday nights at the Ocean View in Islamorada has the best NY strips around. Thick and juicy. Very well priced. Best steak in The Keys
Also the pub where Bloodline was filmed ! Fun outdoor atmosphere overlooking the bay.

This is a very quaint motel like inn. It’s close to the road but you don’t hear any traffic in your room. . And each room has a private patio in the back that is beautifully landscaped. My husband and I really enjoyed sitting there with our wine. Each room also has a path that leads to the very nice pool area. There’s also a trail to the water. If you get hungry, the pub is next store. The wings are really good. I highly recommend this place
