The Mission Inn Resort was a great location for our friends daughter wedding. Everything we needed was right on sight-golf, spa, restaurants, bar and of course the wedding. The rooms
Were spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the staff the best, especially John the shuttle driver, Rob the desk worker and Mindy the waitress at Nickers!!!

My wife and I were with a large group and stayed at the Hotel May 14 and 15, 2021 with a room in the San Angel building. We had been here before and the grounds and landscaping/flowers are magnificent. We noticed a LOT of dust had accumulated on the large square bed posts and my wife even wrote her name on one to see if it might be there next time we come back. We did not use the shower till later the second day after arriving and the water would barely drain. I had almost 3 inches of water by the time I was done. I don't enjoy standing in the water and we did not have time to call for a maintenance visit because of our schedule. We had not used hotels for over a year because of covid and I usually turn on the bath water as soon as I get in the room but forgot. The rooms have an old feeling and not fresh. Day 2 there was a Margarita party at the pool. The sole bartender for a scheduled event could not handle it well. She tried her best to handle all the drinks and food and many people were upset with her. It would have been better if the Inn had two people work that afternoon stretch. We had lunch across the grounds at their restaurant, Nickers and they had servers stumbling over each other. Hopefully I will be able to write a review on it. I wanted to enjoy the pool a little but there was a large, probably group of over 20 young people in it playing volleyball in one end and people catching footballs in the other end from people throwing them from the opposite end. I only had to dodge balls twice to keep from getting hit in the head. So much for the pool. We plan on returning because almost all the staff would go out of their way to make sure everything was ok. One exception, the person working the desk on Sunday morning when we checked out was not very personable. We are not golfers but the beauty almost wants to make anyone want to golf. This was the day after the CDC lifted their mask requirements so a lot of guests were not wearing masks.

We were there for a wedding & stayed in a club suite. The room smelt a bit musty. There was a lot of dust, like the room had not had enough attention paid to detail. The bathroom was fairly clean dust again & water marks around the faucets. Bathtub & shower were fairly clean except someone forgot to clean the shelf from the previous person. There was dried soap on the little shelf. Mold was in the grout area where the tile meets the tub. Mission Inn is a beautiful place. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, a little pricey though. Yes, we would stay here again. In fact I look forward to another stay. Would like to have a room with a balcony next time. Better view.

Just visited Mission Inn Resort & Club for a wedding in the "off" season July, 2022. Be advised; that there are NO refrigerators or microwaves in the room; that is an upcharge. Breakfast is NOT included in the price of the room. If you need shampoo, they give you a small bottle for a party of ONE. Warning: there is a Resort Fee of $25 PER DAY per room (plus tax of $27.70) on top of the "other fees" and taxes they bill you for. When I called the Resort to inquire about the outrageous fee, the "front desk" staff was arrogant and rude and stated that is to cover parking and hotel accommodations. Note: it is not a gated hotel, and you self-park. In addition, The skeet shoot was open but again, outrageous fees and minimum rounds are required. They charge "7" times more than what you would normally pay elsewhere. Bar beverages are extremely expensive, too... overall, I would highly recommend you look elsewhere... there are no activities other than golf on site for families to do unless you drive 30 minutes off-site. If you venture out, you will need to drive a good 30+ minutes to find good restaurants . So disappointed.. we definitely will not be returning to this "resort"

We are disappointed to hear about your most recent experience while visiting Mission Inn Resort. Regarding the resort fee of $25, that’s what most properties charge for only self-parking... Ours Includes the following value-added complimentary items: 2 Bottles of water daily in the guest rooms High-speed internet access (Wi-Fi) Parking In-room coffee (Keurig) In-room safe El Corredor Fitness Center (high-end Cybex equipment) On-property shuttle service Outdoor pool and hydra spa Sand and grass volleyball courts Shuffle Board and Children’s play area Billiards and Game Room –two pool tables, televisions, and card tables In-room local & toll-free calls Ice machines Complimentary bicycle rentals Free Fishing Poles and tackle at the front desk (fishing license not included) Free bicycles to enjoy riding around in our 1,100 acre resort. Room types: We have something for everyone. Our deluxe room is a normal room with no refrigerator Club Suites have a sitting area and a refrigerator. 1, 2 and 3 bedroom suites also have a separate bedroom and living room with refrigerator Trap and Skeet shooting. This is an on-demand “private” activity that is offered on-site. There is a flat SET-UP fee and a minimum number of rounds to book this activity. If only 2 people want to do it, all of the set-up cost is amortized by only 2 and can indeed be perceived as pricey when compared to a party of 10 that share the set-up. Beverages: We are actually at the lower scale of drink prices when compared to other comparable properties and restaurants in our area. Plenty of other activities that you should be aware of : · World-class golf on two championship golf courses o 18-hole El Campion 103 years old (voted #1 by Golf Channel’s Golf Advisors) o 18 hole Las Colinas with Signature hole, "Alligator Alley" (#12) · New 18-hole Par 3 Executive Course o El Dorado (perfect for a quick round on arrival/departure days) · Lighted Driving Range and Putting Green · 8 tennis courts, pickle balls courts, and volleyball courts · 4 restaurants and 3 bars offering casual to fine dining options. · Luxury full-service Spa · Marina · 5,000 sq ft Full-Service Spa · Pontoon Boat and Bass Boat rentals at our own marina · Best bass fishing in the USA · Trap and Skeet shooting range · Outdoor pool and Hydra Spa · 2 Playgrounds with jungle gyms, shuffle board, chess, and more. · Hiking trails and bicycle paths

We spent 3 nights and paid $2600. 00 at the Mission Inn. We booked a "golf package". which included 2 rounds of golf and a $140 towards spa treatments. Golf and cart $50 per round (a COVID special rate according to the pro in the shop who I asked). Then I had a 30 minute pedicure and a 50 minute massage with a reflexology treatment for a whopping $240 (which included a mandatory 21% gratuity), so after my voucher I was charged another $90.00.

Additionally, the only restaurant open for our first two days was the La Hacienda with a breakfast buffet-- which was part of our "package" valued at $17 person per day! Both mornings, my husband got a fruit parfait, that I buy at Publix for $5.00. If I had know we were being charged $17 each, I would have made him get two! We were not told that $36 dollars was part of our $412 we were paying per day.
Trust me the buffet was not worth $10 person! Very little fruit, omelets that the over work cook was trying to manage by herself.

When I called to inquire about our charges, I was told by the Ann Marie, the package manager that she had no idea how much the proshop was charging for golf that day, which is understandable. She did refund me $46 which I thought was very nice of her. However, when I called the spa to ask why I was charged $240 for the two services I was told that she would " have to get the spa employees side of the story!. Jesse, the spa manager called and admitted that I didn't have the 1 hour massage because they got started late (I was there on time) and never addressed the fact that I paid for a 45 minute pedicure and received a 30 minute pedicure (she was my manicurist).

My advice is wait until they get a lot more organized. My husband had a 5 hour round of golf both days. Eight minutes between tee times! And just don't go to the spa. My reflexology treatment was fabulous but not worth $240!

Disappointed with maintenance of Las Colinas golf course after playing (first out) at 0630 on 6/2/20.
Greens sprinkled with sand (never mentioned when making tee time the week before). Also, maintenance crew from overnight did not place pins back into holes on greens of holes12-14 & 16-18...had to play target-less golf on these holes. I did right thing by putting pins in holes for golfers coming after me. When finished my round, I promptly provided feedback to pro shop to no avail. Not confident these issues will be fixed...too many other places in area to play golf. So won’t be playing this golf course any further due to these poor AM maintenance practices & casual disregard for early AM golfers. Poor business decisions impacting the public have consequences!

This place has really gone down hill. Went on a golf weekend with buddies. Found out it would have been cheaper to book a room and pay the daily golf the. But, noone bothered tell us. Rooms need a complete update bathrooms look like they are 10 years old. Not close to a $200 plus a night room. Plus they try to upgrade you for money. Food on the weekend plan was let's just say very interesting. Steak was equal to outback at double the price. Fish and prime rib buffet was let's just say bad and expensive. Don't bother. Of course if we said anything they just said " you know we just reopened and most of our people are being trained. ". On the job training at a resort that trys to project itself as five stars is unacceptable
I could go on but not worth it. I'm not going back. A great place that has lost its luster.

I played the El Campeón course and enjoyed it. Fun layout and it was in great shape. Unfortunately a few weeks later I booked another tee time for myself and three others. The morning of our tee time we woke up to rain and a forecast that would only get worse. I called the pro shop and said we would like to cancel or reschedule - I was told that they had a 24-hour cancellation policy and that I would be charged for all four players despite the rain if we didn’t show up. When I called and initially booked the tee time there was no mention of this policy. When I brought that point up I was put on hold and then told that the head pro/whoever is in charge of the golf shop “still might charge me”. Sure enough that afternoon my credit card was charged several hundred dollars for golf that I did not play due to rain. I find this type of business conduct very shady and will not be playing/supporting this course again. I hope that the few hundred dollars they got now was worth it compared to potentially thousands in repeat visits in the future.

We stayed at this inn for 3 nights, had a large group of people, rented a meeting/banquet room and used the facilities extensively. The communication with our party after arrival was non-existent! Beware if you are planning an event!!
Rooms-very clean and housekeeping was awesome.
Banquet room-dirty, barbecue sauce all over counters, glass doors had food smeared all over, bathrooms ran out of things and were dirty. We cleaned up for 30 minutes before the room was clean enough to bring in our items. Event coordinator had FAILED to tell set up staff anything so we ended up doing it all ourselves.
We attempted to reach event coordinator multiple times to correct issues and she ghosted us.
Will not be going back there! Be VERY cautious about planning events there. Sad, because the facility is beautiful.

A group of 8 made dinner reservations. It took 3 hours, understaffed and food was cold/tepid. When this was pointed out to you, management blamed Covid. We have been dealing with Covid for 2 years. You certainly didn’t turn away anybody or reduce your prices. Restaurant manager was there. What’s wrong with picking up a water container and refilling waters, or helping bring food from the kitchen when it is ready and still hot? How about not seating more people than you can comfortably serve. How about someone checking on your guests to see if the table is happy or has a request? Paying over $120 for this dinner for 2 feels like a slap in the face, but it’s COVID’s fault. Our tables bill was over $500 not including tip. It’s not the wait staffs fault, nor the kitchens fault, it is managements fault. You know we won’t be back.
