Not often lately has customer service surprised me, when I travel most of the time I expect just OK service, but the Hampton staff was amazing. From the front desk to breakfast service to the Tiki bar, all were wonderful. The hotel has a great view, access to the beach and a nice bar. We had a short but nice stay.

We went to the Hampton Inn Daytona Beach to spend one night and ended up staying for three nights. Either this is a newer hotel or has been recently updated as the rooms are very nice and clean. We had an oceanfront room with a balcony which also had 2 chairs and a side table. The ocean was beautiful. I will say you can sometimes hear water running in the other rooms but if you leave the bathroom fan on you don’t hear anything. It was such a great facility. They had a tiki like bar to get drinks and light food, hamburgers, chicken fingers, French fries etc. Mainly pub food. The bartenders were wonderful and the service quick. The food was good, too. There was also a fire pit by the pool and bar. Everyone we encountered was very friendly abs the overall hotel very clean. Housekeeping was VERY responsive to items requested for. Extra pillows were brought up to us and if you left your used towels and/or garbage outside your room they quickly removed it and arrived with fresh supplies. I would not hesitate to stay here again for an extended stay. Breakfast was good and if you requested eggs or anything you just asked the server and she would go get it for and bring it back so she was the only who around your food. Be sure to check this hotel out in your next trip there.

After a terrible experience the previous night at a different Hampton property, this location was exactly what we needed. We stayed two nights, Oct 14-15, and wished we could stay several more. Check-in process was very quick and easy using the Hilton app. We were able to select our room location prior to arrival and use the digital key to avoid any wait at the front desk. Ample parking on-site free of charge. Spacious room, very clean, located at the front corner of the hotel with a small balcony affording a side view of the ocean. Even though the front window overlooked route A1A, the traffic noise was minimal and had no impact on our sleep. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful when we had questions, and every staff member wore a mask. If you choose to eat breakfast at the hotel, a staff member will serve you the items you request, which also made us feel safe and comfortable.

The deck overlooking the ocean is truly the gem of this hotel. Ample outdoor seating, a tiki bar, and pool/hot tub area are all open for use. There are stairs leading directly down to the beach, which was almost entirely empty during our stay and the few people strolling about were practicing social distancing. At $90 this hotel RIGHT ON Dayton Beach is beyond a good bargain. We will definitely be back!

To put this review in perspective I have stayed at 7 or 8 Hamptons in the last year. Also I have over 200 reviews on this site.
First DUMB thing is when I checked in and asked for my Silver level two bottles of water was told that at that location they only give out the water to the Gold and Platnium level. It had nothing to do with the current virus. So what that meant is that they would not spend around 50 cents for two bottles of water. HOW CHEAP. But it gets better.
They cut their breakfast service to two hours. While other restaurants were spreading out tables because of the virus, some genius at the Hampton decided to cut service. So how did that work, well when I was there the dining area was full and saw and heard people sneezing and coughing. While other places tried to not spread the virus, Hampton may have helped spread it.
Since they had staff to cook, serve and clean the only thing I can think of as to why they did this was to save a few dollars on labor. We have stayed here before a couple of times last year but there are too many other nice comparable places on the beach. So we won’t be back as I am concerned that if they cut this stuff what else are they cutting.
As I said earlier HOW CHEAP.

It is a nice enough hotel but the breakfast is pitiful. I would suggest the hotel do a better job, I know most folks do not want to touch serving handles due to health concerns. Why would the hotel not have a hot breakfast that is served in to go containers and ready for pick up in the morning by guest to take away? The kitchen is still open for food for purchase. Excellent way for the hotel to save money and no longer provide nothing more that terrible brown bag of a breakfast bar, bottle of water and packaged bread item.

Good morning, Thank you for taking the time to post a review regarding your recent stay, we greatly appreciate it. Being a Hilton property, we follow the guidelines put in place by the brand regarding our breakfast offerings. The "Grab and Go" breakfast bags were what was called for during certain time frames, as it eliminated multiple "high touch" items that would be present in a typical breakfast buffet. That said, at Hilton's direction we have now moved to a cafeteria style hot breakfast. Our Breakfast Attendant plates and serves guests from a line of daily offerings, which will includes hot choices such as eggs, bacon or sausage. Thank you again for taking the time to post your review. We hope that you choose to stay with us again in the near future, to witness first hand the changes we've made. Lovely beachfront property with a nice pool/hot tub and good beach access. I visited June 2020 and there were some changes we were notified about because of Covid 19: no housekeeping - but could do towel exchanges, grab and go breakfast only, coffee during breakfast only. There was supposed to be more cleaning in public areas (never saw that) and only one employee wore a mask our entire 3 night stay. Other than hand sanitizer in the elevator, I saw no evidence of extra cleaning in public areas - Glad I brought my own wipes. I enjoyed my stay, but it seemed like the changes they made were more cost saving than safety motivated.

The staff was very friendly and did a phenomenal job of ensuring the rooms were sanitized. I felt very confident that the staff thoroughly cleaned and sanitized all areas of the room.
The biggest thing that stood out to me was a front desk representative by the name of Jerri. Jerri showed excellent customer service and responded to any questions I had in a timely manner.
I will be staying at this hotel again, and highly recommend this facility.

Really had a great stay at this hotel at the end of July. Friendly front desk staff, beautiful pool and tiki bar area, plus our Corner Oceanview room was very quiet and private with a great clear view. This hotel is following all Covid guidelines better than any other Hilton owned hotel I’ve stayed in since May. Breakfast could be improved to grab and go bags for speed but other than that a really great, clean hotel. Thanks Jerri at the desk for very fast responses to in app messaging!

My husband and I wanted to get away for a relaxing weekend and we found it at the Hampton Inn in Daytona. Room was clean. We enjoyed the Tiki bar (Longboards) for some drinks and live music. The free hot breakfast bar was delicious. They have a free coffee bar 24 hours a day which also included hot chocolate. The stretch of beach behind the hotel has little traffic so don’t have to worry about the little ones. The pool is a little small but refreshing. They have a fire pit by the tiki bar and pool. Loungers and umbrellas could be rented on the beach for i believe $40 for a full day rental. Ice cream truck rode by everyday too. There was plenty of free parking. We topped it all off enjoying the fireworks show Saturday night from our balcony that we’re set off on the end of the boardwalk.
