Here for a pre~cruise stay and was dubious about what to expect when it came to the room and location, not least due to the room cost equalling the Sheraton types in prime Orlando locations, but pleased we chose this hotel as every aspect has been excellent!

Our journey from London was a long one and once we had arrived and boarded our pre~booked shuttle to Cocoa Beach, it crashed. So we got to the hotel late, but was greeted warmly by the beyond helpful Samantha, who had noted a room request to not have the freezing cold air on on upon arrival, and also kindly moved us to a balcony room (which I thought I’d booked but no).

The rooms are more spacious than some of the photos indicate, ample hangers and draws for a short stay, plenty of power and USB points each side of the bed, a good sized safe, minibar, TV and table/chairs. The bed itself is also quality, and everywhere is spotlessly clean. Balcony furniture is decent and the balcony gives great views of the ocean and also the Space Centre launch pads. The slight negative would be the small bathroom and basic shower which we struggled to turn off completely, although for a couple of nights it has been fine.

Facility wise, there is a Starbucks counter selling yogurts, cakes, fruit, crisps, cold drinks and things like suncream, plasters etc. a very small pool but lots of loungers away from it, a gate that leads out to a boardwalk to reach the very clean beach, a bar which is excellently serviced by Katie, who went out of her way to sort some food for my daughter who is limited on what she can eat, and behind that there is the restaurant which ~ given the limited options close by, is well priced and also good quality.

All the staff are friendly and helpful, and when you make a request to have your bathroom cleaned, extra towels and things, consider it done!

A 5 min walk to the street will bring you to a Publix supermarket, an Irish Pub and a few other outlets, and 20 mins up the street you will find the famous Ron Jon’s surf shop along with several others, a mini golf, several restaurants and ice cream/waffle houses, MacDonalds, Walgreens etc.

Overall we have been more than impressed, would stay again if ever cruising out of Port Canaveral and would recommend to others.

We checked into the Doubletree Jan 26 for a two night stay, do not put doubletree into your GPS, it brings you to the closed Doubletree not the Hilton Doubletree. A minor in on inconvenience since the hotel is only 500 yards further down the road. The check in was fine and we received an upgrade to a partial ocean view room as Hilton Honors members. The room was clean but the mattresses were super hard and the pillows provided no support even after doubling them. Soundproofing was pretty bad too, we were able to hear everything next door and I am sure they heard us. The toilet seat was extremely loose (hello housekeeping).
We ate in the main dining room and the food was good and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We went out to the outdoors bar and had to go to the bar to order drinks since the waitresses did not come by where we were sitting, they served food outside so we were not sure if they only served them or they just ignored the cocktails only people.
The next morning, I received a text asking if all was well and I replied that the toilet seat was loose. The person replied that engineering was notified can they go right up? To which I replied yes.
When my wife and I returned to the room at 3:30 pm, the seat was never fixed and housecleaning had not shown up yet. We did not follow up since we were checking out early in the morning but we were disappointed in the lack of service for a relatively simple issue.
The mattresses and pillow combination caused both of us discomfort to our backs, the lack of service even though minor shows a problem that could run deeper. The three star rating is tenuous at best.

Due to last minute plan chances I booked a 3 night stay at the Doubletree and was thoroughly satisfied by the hotel. From the friendly checkin to the spacious and pleasantly decorated room (King Suite), the hotel surpassed all expectations. On site is a mini Starbucks, restaurant, small pool with lovely lounge area and pool bar, mini arcade with pinball/air hockey/video games, and finally hotel walkway directly to the beach and deck chair rental (beach towels available from front desk). For our short getaway nothing was lacking - the Publix across the street was perfect for picking up snack essentials. The room was soundproof from hallway noise, toiletries were Crabtree and Evelyn, all in all for the price this is an incomparable hotel. Kudos to the staff!

It seems like decades since I have been able to write up any reviews. But first real vacation in a long time. I booked this place based on reviews and being a Hilton member wanted to go with Hilton property. This place is 15 minutes away from the Cruise port. We were a bit early for check-in, but the front staff suggested we could use the pool area and or beach and they would text us when the room was ready. They held on to our luggage and pointed out a restaurant where we could change our clothes. Also got a cookie and bottled water. Towels could be checked out at the front desk as well. The pool area was very nice and they even had a guitar/singer performing by the pool area. (That is apparently a new thing, but very nice!). We opted to check out the beach, they had two board walks that went to the beach, two shower stations and there was a place for renting chairs or umbrella. Since we were toward the end of the day, we got a deal on two chairs, which the young man actually carried for us to the spot on the beach as well as picked them up for us at the end of use. We received a text and proceeded to the front desk where we got our room keys and went to our rooms. The rooms were lovely, light and airy décor wise. All rooms have a balcony and technically a view of the ocean. The "I" shaped hotel was perpendicular to the ocean, so you see the ocean at an angle, unless you get the room at the end of the hotel facing the Ocean. But the view was fine. There is a bit of bleed of noise from surrounding rooms, or people on their balcony. But fortunately that was only in the day time not at night. The dining area was also beautiful, modern look, white colors with accents, which gave the place a light, airy feel. We dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. I had the grilled pineapple stuffed with grilled veggies and coconut rice added side of shrimp. That was absolutely delicious. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned. My niece and I were splitting our meals and sharing, both happy with our selections. Breakfast as some one pointed out was the buffet or you could order off the menu. My niece opted for the buffet but I had a berry French toast with salted caramel sauce. That was awesome as well. Kudos the chefs for those wonderful dishes!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would pick this hotel again in a heart beat.

My girlfriend and I had a very nice time at Doubletree. The staff at the front desk was welcoming and our room was ready at checkin. The restaurant staff was fantastic and the breakfast buffet was probably the best deal around at $19 bucks per person, including coffee, juice, ….etc. and the servers were very attentive and worked their butts off to make everyone happy.
The king room with partial water view was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The only thing we didn’t like was the noise from the other rooms (especially the room directly above us on the 6th floor). Apparently they had a little kid who loves to run around in circles. I think it’s just a poor engineering design in the building insulation. Also the a/c system was a bit on the noisy side, but we slept through it anyway.
The pool is a little small for the hotel size in my opinion, but the pool area was very nice with a little pool bar.
The beach was beautiful and was a short walk from the back of the hotel.
If you plan on bringing your car or rental vehicle, be prepared to spend another $12 per day for parking at the hotel lot. That irritated us a little.
All in all we had a great time and would stay here again.

Second time I've stayed here and, just like the last time, had a GREAT experience! Hotel is VERY convenient to stores, markets and restaurants. Location on the beach is a dream; room itself is clean, modernly appointed and front desk staff always make you feel like a special family member. Housekeeping staff were running behind on getting rooms serviced each day- but it is spring break and all businesses are having challenges getting/retaining staff....so I make allowances. Thanks for a nice trip and a job well done!

Warlocks MC (one of them 1 percenter outlaw bike gangs) showed up during our stay, thought that there might be trouble but they were fine and caused no trouble. The pool was small but the water was warm. beach access was bar none right on the beach with a pool bar that stayed open late. bar tender brian is a bit of a wise guy. However, he did know how to make drinks properly. The restaurant was very reasonable on prices and the food and drinks were good. The room was spacious and the majority of staff was friendly. One thing that did irritate me was getting them to bring or give me a roll of TP was like pulling teeth! I have no problems with this hotel and would stay there again and i'm a bit picky so if id stay there again it means it's good. side note- Don't come here if you are a cry baby about Covid. because like most of Florida they believe in freedom and don't try to impose their opinions on you.

I really liked the remodel of this hotel, the colors and the furniture/fixtures, wood floors and rugs. Their terraced multi-level pool area is quite nice and appealing. Nice boardwalk to the beach too. The restaurant is very large and nice looking too. The personnel for the breakfast are very pleasant and helpful, however, the breakfast buffet is quite overpriced at $20. We were there 4 days and did not repeat the breakfast after the first morning. The food was ok and like a Hampton Inn free breakfast. I did have a very good hamburger from the restaurant for dinner one night. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is quite small but nicely redone. The balcony was nice - sun on the south side, shade on the north side in March. We were on the south side (619) and had a good view. Publix directly across the street which was nice. We always eat at Brano's Italian Grill when at Cocoa beach and it's just a few blocks up the street - ate there twice this past visit. Also ate a lovely shrimp n oysters lunch at Rusty's at the port. Oh, no microwave in the room but there was one at the end of the hall in a tiny room. There was a coffee maker and fridge in the room.

Decent hotel for a night or two before or after a cruise with close proximity to the cruise terminal. Probably wouldn’t stay for longer than 2 nights, but would look to stay again if nearby. Although a 3 star hotel with a few tweaks it could be 4 star - newly refurbished (in 2021 I believe) with new and clean public toilets. Nice bathroom in room and good beds with a large TV. Coffee machine in room but real cups would be better rather than paper ones and there weren’t enough for 2 coffees across the 2 nights. The bar was reasonable and the food served in the restaurant was of good quality for the price. The pool was small but fine for the size of the hotel with a bar and live music on some days, the various sun bed locations were nice to have. The path down to beach and showers were helpful. The service at the front desk was helpful when checking in early and when asking for more toiletries. The phone in the room could do with being replaced as it looked out of place in the newly refurbished room. There was some noise from the adjacent room but that wasn’t the hotels fault and was resolved quickly after a call to the front desk. Lifts were noticeably old and jumped down when reaching level.

I've always been a budget hotel kind of girl but the night before our cruise we decided to clas it up a little. We reserved our room online because it was actually better priced than others in the area and it was absolutely worth it. From check-in to asking for a couple extra towels to asking for directions out to the beach, the hospitality we were shown was amazing.
We decided to stop into the Starlite for breakfast and we met the most amazing waitress I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Miss Lori from Kentucky was everything I could ask for and more and she got our vacation off to the best possible start.

The room was clean and well put together. We had to do a quick load of laundry and it was right across the hall from our room. It was $4 for each the washer and dryer which was a bit much but absolutely reasonable for hotel laundry. The shower had good water pressure and everything was clean. The only thing I didn't like was we had room 201 and it was tucked away in an awkward corner that had no lights to it, in the dark it was a bit unnerving.
