We have wanted to stay here for a while but were left a little disappointed. It’s a bit tired in places and check in was a bit of a nightmare. We got there in the end but there was a £680 charge on my card for nearly two weeks! Just be aware there’s a $33 charge for valet parking per day but the staff are quick to get your when you need it. It’s perfectly located if you want to enjoy Celebration but the room rate and other charges are a bit expensive for what you’re actually getting.

Over all the hotel was average, no major complaints, One of my only comments is that I think the hotel room was not properly prepared or cleaned. There was hairs on the towels and then was a bar of soap in my bed sheet. But the location is very convenient and if you pick the right room you could have an amazing view.

If you want to feel like you've taken a trip back in time to Mayberry RFD must have been like, the town of Celebration is for you. The Marriott's Autograph Collection, Celebration, on a tranquil lake, is your place for beauty and relaxation. Just moments from the frantic I-4 corridor is the tranquil village of Celebration, where time stands still.
You won't be disappointed with the incredible artwork, fine dining, luxurious rooms, and world class hospitality. Once there, you won't want to leave, and if you are like us, you will keep going back year after year.

We had first communicated with the GM Amber and as she was out of town, she left us in the amazingly excellent care of Seilly, the Rooms Director. We arrived and to our delight we were surprised with the VIP parking place out front, and a welcoming committee opened the door to the lobby. My wife Red was beyond thrilled which in turn thrilled my heart. The entire time there the associates took world class care of both of us. Lyssa was always helpful and wanting to take care of our every need. I remembered her excellent spirit from our previous stays. We met Wilmari the executive housekeeper who had a marvelous staff working for her -our room was immaculate! The Arrival Ambassador Valerie made us feel very welcome. Xabier at the front Desk was very responsible, recovering and properly securing my lost car keys. We will pick them up on our next visit real soon. In all our 750 nights and six trips around the world this property was in the top 10! HIGHLY recommend this Property!

Throughout my stay, I encountered several issues that detracted from my overall experience. Notably, there was a lack of availability of essential staff members when needed:

Housekeeping services were not provided during my entire stay, despite requesting them at the front desk. My room was not clean at check in. The bathroom counter has a sticky residue that I had to clean myself. I never received new towels as I requested.

Unfortunately, I encountered a second situation where the morning server at the restaurant was rude and also asked me for a tip directly. This behavior was unexpected and detracted from what would otherwise have been a pleasant dining experience.

As a guest, I value respectful and professional service, and such incidents can impact the overall perception of the hotel. I believe it's important to ensure that all staff members uphold the high standards of hospitality your establishment is known for.

Throughout my visit, I found that the valet service was not readily available when needed. This lack of presence was inconvenient and not reflective of the efficient service I expected from your establishment. I found the valet guy around the corner on his phone.

When I sought assistance from the housekeeping manager , front desk manager, and food and beverage manager, none were available to address my concerns promptly. I was told they were not on property. Despite several attempts at different times, I was informed that the managers were not working.

I also requested to speak with the general manager but was informed that she is not available during nights and weekends.

Ensuring managerial availability is crucial for maintaining guest satisfaction and addressing any needs that may arise during their stay. I kindly urge you to review and address this issue to enhance the overall guest experience at your hotel.

It is evident that the hotel possesses tremendous potential, yet the service from leadership fell short of expectations. The absence of key managerial staff on several occasions and the overall lack of responsiveness have detracted from what could have been an exceptional experience.

My husband reserved a suite for us for the weekend. When we checked in they gave us a regular room. No big deal called them and was told oh we made a mistake come down and we’ll get you in the right room. Go down to the lobby and find out the suites not ready . Ok again not a problem was told they would call us when it’s ready. An hour goes by without a phone call, check in is at 4 it is now 4:45 so we decide to see if it was ready and guess what it was. Again maybe it was an oversight not worth getting upset about and head up to the suite. Everything seems good so we go to dinner and when we come back that’s when things get horrible. The toilet started to overflow so we call downstairs and Glenda tells us she will have maintenance come up. 45 minutes later and no one shows. I go down and ask about it and Glenda said she forgot! I could not believe it! So she tells me she’ll let them know now. 30 minutes later maintenance shows up try’s to fix it but says it’s a plumbing problem that can’t be fixed and leaves. I go downstairs. Tell Glenda we are leaving. I am not staying in a room that doesn’t have a working toilet . She tells me that She’ll still have to charge me because I checked in. I told her you cannot have a hotel room without a working toilet. She proceeds to tell me not to argue with her . I informed her we are leaving. I will dispute the charge with my credit card Company. I started talking to a lady who was in line behind me and she was there to make a complaint about getting the wrong room. Also, I informed her to be careful with the toilets because they will put you in a room with a toilet that overflows and not give your money back after that Glenda decided to call the manager and canceled my reservation. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt after reading these other reviews about the same interactions and experiences and believe me they are true. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else!

Worst hotel ever. They had the audacity to charge full rates whilst renovations were being carried out and some facilities were not available. I emailed them twice prior to travel to ask about the impact of construction works but guess what… they didn’t reply. Charged me again for my room despite having prepaid through a third party ,front desk supervisor was rude and dismissive when I questioned this. Definite training issue here. Not what I expect of a “ so called “ AUTOGRAPH COLLECTION hotel . Emailed Marriott customer services over a week ago asking for the email address of hotel manager so that I could email her directly but they didn’t have the decency to reply . Will never stay in this hotel again, it was a massive disappointment and worth nowhere near the ridiculous amount they charge . They totally spoiled what was supposed to be a special occasion for us.

Incredibly loud! Beware of events, rooms are not soundproof, and you will hear and feel every beat from the ballroom! There was a wedding the second night of our stay. Our room was literally shaking from the music. We complained, but nothing was done. This completely ruined our stay, and we will not be staying here again. It's a shame because otherwise the hotel is beautiful and the staff was great. The hotel management needs to realize that even if there is a high paying event, they need to regulate it since not all of their customers are part of the event and they will lose customers in the long run.

Be aware. This hotel charged us for valet parking and later a bottle of wine from the room totaling $100. We never used either. They eventually refunded the money - without apology. But this lacks class and left me feel very undervalued. I would not stay there again. Also, the property is dated with popcorn ceilings.

It's concerning to hear that you were charged for valet parking and a bottle of wine that you didn't use. Stayed several times over last 10 years
Location is great
Reception no probs very good
Room dated but bed comfortable, air con good, bathroom good but door did not shut it was warped.

There is a slight musty smell but this has been like this for 6 years maybe it’s the location namely on the lake

We had significant discount for being over 60 would I have said full price was good value no

One really annoying thing was at end of corridor on table, room service finished items left for some 12 hours General Manager get a grip this is not acceptable in any hotel.

Would we go back at price we paid and location and generally Yes

I’m pretty sure that this hotel does NOT have a shuttle to Port Canaveral since it is over 50 miles away. Disney hotels do have a bus that goes to the port but as far as I know it only goes to Disney hotels and must be arranged ahead of time. This is not a Disney hotel so it won’t go to it.

Thank you for the recent question regarding our Jacuzzi. Our Jacuzzi was not able to be fixed due to the recent storm damage. We had to make a decision to close it and seal it. Again we apologize that we could not get this fixed. Please reach out to me directly if you have any other questions.
