Pluses: Great Curb Appeal in a Gated Community Friendly staff on check in. Brandon is AWESOME!! Our 6th floor suite had a fully screened in patio that looked out over the pool area. Grounds are well maintained and we even saw a few deer in the mornings. Our suite (264D) was clean (except for the stained carpet in the living room) and comfortable Full kitchen, coffee maker, microwave in unit (steak knives and a dull paring knife provided only) Washer and Dryer in the unit Safe in the unit Across the Street from Old Town, a quaint recreational place with restaurants, rides and other attractions. Other restaurants, grocery stores within easy walking distances. Close enough to Disney Resorts for Uber/Lyft/Mears Taxi. Beware of surge price increase during high demand times.
Minuses: The living room carpet was stained and really an eyesore. Other reviews said to bring slippers for that reason. We expected some staining, but not this bad. Sofa was wore out and uncomfortable We stayed for 10 days (two separate reservations one through Armed Forces Vacation Club and one through Orbitz). On check-in, we asked to be allowed to stay in the same suite so we would not have to move after the first 7 days. We were told it should not be an issue and to check back later. We were told that daily housekeeping was cancelled due to COVID but that there would be a one cleaning day for those staying longer than 7 days. This was also documented in the resort information packet we received on check in. On day 7, I signed the new documents and asked that the suite be serviced. I was told that they would exchange the towels and sheets but not come in to clean. I pointed out that it had been 7 days but to no avail. No cleaning supplies (Comet, liquid cleaner or Windex) provided. No vacuum cleaner, mop or toilet brush. I asked for replacement supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels which took three phone calls and two in person visits to the front desk to accomplish. This was a big pain.

The condo we stayed in was clean and perfectly prepared for anything we needed .. check in took 5 minutes tops. I went with my kids and grandkids and it was roomy and comfortable. We made dinner and breakfast daily in the well equipped kitchen and dining area ... ample furniture in living area to relax and enjoy the evenings ... two bathrooms made getting everyone ready so easy. We were there for the parks and they are so close, even with traffic our commute time to all was less than 15 minutes to each park. We didnt have time to enjoy the pool and hot tub areas but they looked clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again or recommend to others. Thanks for the great memories Barefoot Suites !!!

We had a three bedroom lockout where one unit has one bedroom and it's own kitchen and living area which was small but nice. And the other unit had two bedrooms which all the rooms were very big. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. I needed a handicapped unit which one of the bathrooms was handicapped and nice and large, The location of the resort is very good. Lots restaurants and stores and there is a carnival next door which was nice. The beds were very comfortable and a nice height where it was easy to get into. Also the units had one king size bed and the other bedrooms had queen size beds which for my family was great because my children are grown and married so the twin size beds aren't the best. We did not use the amenities therefore I can not comment on them. Negatives: I'm sure this doesn't happen all the time but they had a problem with the key card system and we couldn't get into our unit for hours and then when we got a key that worked every time we needed to use the cards again they didn't work. However the key to our one bedroom unit worked so we would have to go into that unit and go through the connecting doors to the two bedroom unit. The units themselves were clean but the carpeting had a lot of stains. The unit could use some updating. As with other resorts I have stayed at, it would be nice to have trash cans in the bedrooms as well as the bathrooms. Also it would have been nice to have a chair in the bedroom.

We stayed here for one night as we were going for night out in old town and wanted to both enjoy a drink or 10 !! So booked this hotel to sleep over. It was immaculate with every thing you would need for a two week stay we were given the one bedroom apartment and we’re so pleased with it. Old town just a five min walk across road. I could have quite happily stayed here for my whole two week stay. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of staying near old town.

In Nov 2022, we paid for a package for $300 to stay at Barefoot, Kissemmee for 4 nights. We know it's a time share promotion as we are required to attend a presentation after which we would receive a visa card as a reward plus another week stay in another property. Upon calling to confirm our dates of travel, we were required to pay a refundable deposit of $150 plus tax in advance.
It's weird because refundable deposits are usually collected on check in and refundable deposits should not be subject to tax. However, we paid anyways.
We attended the presentation and received our reward visa card of ,$150. However, we were not allowed to use the reward week unless it's a separate vacation trip.
Upon check out of Barefoot, the reception told us the deposit will be refunded to the same card which was used to pay the deposit but without the sales tax.
Two weeks later, we went back to Barefoot as we didn't receive the credit to our card. This time we were told that the $150 reward visa card given after the presentation is the refund on our deposit!
So technically, we had paid ourselves a reward for spending 3 hrs at the time share presentation😭.
If we accept that the visa card was indeed a reward for our time, that will mean that we actually paid $300 +$150 for our 4 days at Barefoot.
Either way, we felt short changed.
The receptionist even claimed that we had a good deal as it would normally cost us $200 + a night at Barefoot. Upon checking with Hotels.com or Booking.com, we could get a room at Barefoot for a little more than $100.
It is getting very confusing for clients like us as we are dealing with a hotel, a marketing company and a property company selling time share.
Didn't enjoy the experience and have decided to stop looking for extra time share week to purchase for our winter break.

The resort is located near many restaurants and shopping which was nice. There were quite a few golf courses near by. It was a pretty quiet location even though there was an amusement park across the street. Our suite was otherwise very nice except for the condition of the carpeting. There were many stains on it throughout the suite. They need to replace that carpeting or get someone in there to give it a good cleaning.

Pros: Nice pools, playground, and basketball court, spacious, and great location to walk to Fun Spot and Old Town. They let us check in 4 hours early and were very nice. The price was good as well and the condition of the property inside and out was good aside from a couple things (see below). The jetted tub was nice and the beds were hard but good and we slept well in that regard.
Cons: There was a decent gap in the door frame and the building could use a washing or paint. We didn't get any hand soap, but did get shampoo so we used that. It was quiet except I only got 4 hours of sleep due to hearing our upstairs neighbors walk around until 2 a.m. I also did not like trying to be sold on a 2.5 hour seminar when I checked in. Very nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit but it took forever to dry. The hot tub needed some chemicals to clear up the water so we didn't use it. I didn't see the game room or fitness room.

Arrived here late with my better half for a four night stay. The 2am front desk consisted of a surly young man in a black hoodie (hood up). Check in was fast enough.
Walking into the room, even at 2 in the morning and after a long days travel - we saw that this place was filthy.
The furniture was worn out. The couch was sunken and had a 4 inch rip in the upholstery. The carpets were filthy and there were numerous bad stains throughout. The shower curtain was a joke.
The queen bed was old and creaky. The hair dryer was busted. The ice maker was busted. The kitchen is poorly equipped if you plan on cooking anything. (Why have a kitchen otherwise?)
Operationally, it was clear the frontline staff were doing the best they can with what they have.
Organizationally, this “resort” is a horrible mess. The management are clearly dropping the ball. I have no idea why this place gets such high rankings. Someone needs to inspect these units properly and order new furniture and a deep cleaning.
Epilogue….Disgusted, we left after three nights. Moved across the street to a much better location. Paid through the nose but we wouldn’t stay another night in that disaster!
Pros: if you can get a balcony overlooking the pool area it’s nice. The ability to walk over to Old Town is entertaining if you’re into that kind of thing.
Cons: it’s dirty, worn, sparse and cynically managed. We will be challenging the rating with Avion and seeking compensation.

We travel based upon sleeping. We do not need to spend $100’s of dollars for a hotel. For the price range is it a great deal. We said if we had known about this place when our kids were little we would have come to this place. Nobody was at the pool or playground. They had a separate pool for small children and larger for big kids along with a play area. The rooms were fine. Most importantly, clean and quiet. For this price point it is worth it! The hallways and rooms were recently painted. The kitchen is large enough for a family of 5. New sofa. The reason it did not receive a 5 is because the bed constantly made noise. You turned over and it was noisy. They need a new bed frame and mattress. Otherwise it is right across from Old Towne. You can easily walk across the street to the amusement park. I did not feel it was unsafe after dark. It is also down the road from World Food Truck. Inexpensive place to eat for all tastes. Large portions. Bottom line for what you pay it is safe, clean and easy location to get to Disney or whatever you want to do in the Orlando area without breaking the bank with high end hotels within the Disney area.

We stayed in the two story suites. (On the second level) Loved it there. It was clean and spacious. It had a little kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, and mini fridge. Two TV's...one in the living room and one in the bedroom. Large soaker tub. It was nicely decorated. There was also a washer and dryer and they were not coin operated. Everything was perfect. Also there are many deer who come to visit every day. We saw them every afternoon and early evening right out our window.
