Enjoyed our stay at Cassadega hotel. very much The hospitality of everyone was enjoyed. Our readings were excellent! We loved the Sinatra bar and restaurant. In fact Manager Scott and his niece Gabby went over and above. One of our group members lost a substantial amount of cash. Scott and Gabby made sure the cash was returned to us. We thank you from our hearts Be sure and visit them at Sinatra Bar The food is excellent Loved the nostalgia of the stars of the 50 s entertainment.. via video. ... a wonderful trip down memory lane

An amazing stay at the hotel! The staff was amazing and met every need. Very flexible too. The hotel is beautiful and brings you back in time. We booked a room along the patio which allowed us to have access outside with tables and rockers. I had a reading done at the hotel and it was very accurate. Right next door is an amazing restaurant named Sinatras. The food was amazing. Make sure to go to the Sunday brunch and have stuffed French Toast. You will not be disappointed! Saturday night such a fun time with the most amazing karaoke signers and great DJ. Piano music at night. We were able to park our car and leave it for the weekend and walk the town. Such a wonderful way to spend my birthday!

The hotel is quite old and to be expected very interesting and you do feel the energy there. I went with a group of girlfriends as we checked in and went to ours rooms to bring our luggage. I noticed a glass shelf over the sink in the room, is way to close to the sink no wonder the carpet is wrinkled underneath it from water. Anyway We thought that was ridiculous. We went to the resturant Sinatras to eat the drinks were good, and service was good, the food was ok depending what time you go, i suggest to have dinner between 5-8 because the quality of food had no flavor after 9:00 as when we had dinner after the Seance. The Seance had too many people and it was overbooked there were 15 people in there when it clearly says 12, as he proceeded the man was speaking in broad statements that can be applied to anyone in that circle. It was a reading not a Seance, There are people there that truly want to reach their love ones. It felt fake, the man was a joke. Avoid the seance! Waste of money. Do the ghost tour instead.

this is by far the coolest, unique motel I have EVER been. And I’ve been from New York, all over Tennessee, Georgia, sc, nc, Virginia, all over. The flooring is reminiscent to my childhood, where you hop lightly trying not to bother guests, the lobby is FULL of antique GORGEOUS furniture. Dawn is amazing! She answered all my questions and helped with anything I needed! Being I grew up in homes like this, of course it will be amazing cozy and full of wonder. It’s hard to sleep because you just want to explore and explore more. Relax and unwind. But I’m a old Florida gal so it’s paradise to me! It’s all well kept from what I’ve seen, clean and tidy and trust me these style places aren’t easy to do! The porches are wonderful, full of tables and chairs, and outdoor CATS, the cats were like the coolest part! Out of respect for the hotels policy I didn’t take any pics to go public, but I LOVE this place, beats a boring Hilton any day!!

To whoever owns this place you should know the woman working the desk doesn't answer the phone nor does she return phone calls . I drove an hour down there to find out why my sister & mother were not getting a call back to confirm a week stay . My mother hasn't been to Florida to visit in years since she is 86 years old . My sister decided to talk her into the long ride if they could stay in your Hotel & attend some classes etc. I made a call there & left a voicemail . No answer , no return call . After my hour drive I entered the office to see a middle aged woman watching videos on Facebook or TikTok . I asked if they received any of our messages . She said they don't always check them . I was almost speechless . I dialed the number while standing there & she picked up the office phone & looked at it , but didn't answer it . I told her it was me . She never apologized , asked if I'd like to book a room or any help at all . The hotel missed out on two rooms rented for over a week & multiple meals there along with whatever classes or programs they would participate in . I asked if that was normal and she looked confused & kept saying they don't always get their messages . No way a business should be run . Period . Totally unacceptable . If she owns the business she should be ashamed . If she does not ,she should be fired immediately. I don't expect any response to this but hope someone reads it . My name & e mail address are attached . You can also call me if you like....

I Reserved a room there for my wife and me. The hotel is very cool as it is about 100 years old. The staff was very nice. However, the mattress in the room we were assigned was not of very good quality, it was not very firm at all and every move one of us would move during the night would wake one of us, plus my wife's back would have been in terrible shape, (mine too) if we stayed there. We decided to go to a hotel in Deland, about 20 minutes away, and rent a very nice room. This turned out to be a blessing in a way as Deland is a very cool town with great shops and restaurants. I would recommend staying in Delan and then traveling to CASSADAGA and exploring the shops and don't miss the fairy trail, that was great.

yes, we experienced spirits --- not just in our wine glasses. the Cassadaga Hotel has certainly seen better days. the mismatched furnishings lean more to shabby than chic. breakfast was non-existent except for coffee. room was clean; mediocre on a good day; the outdoor veranda needs some attention. the front porch is a nice place to have a drink or coffee and watch the town go by. but luxury lodging is not why folks travel to the hammocks of Florida. if, like many, you are curious about spirit, Cassadaga Hotel is the place to stay. my husband, while tolerant of alternative beliefs, made this trip to humor me. i, a life long seeker/questioner, slept like (no, not the dead) like a baby -- i had a wonderful, refreshing slumber. he, after one night at the Cassadaga Hotel , is now a firm believer in spirit. caution: management will blame any issues on "activity" -- anything from noisy neighbors to no hot water. ps: their Sinatra's restaurant was very good! Enjoy!

Had a wonderful fun weekend visiting Cassadaga, but if are expecting a hotel with all of the amenities (TV, mini fridge, wifi that works) you will be disappointed. This is old school, and I was cool with that. The room was clean, the restaurant served good food at reasonable prices. I went for the EXPERIENCE. The seance was really fun, though what she said for me did not resonate. My wife and I loved the medium visit with Valerie. Boy, she nailed both of us, it was really eerie. Seemed very sweet and genuine. The nighttime spirit walking tour was really fun! They explained the history of Cassadaga, and we got to experience lots of paranormal phenomenon, plus took cool photographic evidence. The city of Deland is only 15 minutes away so that was a lovely escape to the modern world, with a cute downtown with lots of places to eat. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Cassadaga if you are not too high maintenance and particular.

Had a reservation for Sat Aug 31 2021 and made a reservation for a seance 2 people also, when I arrived that afternoon the place for a zoo lots of cars the hotel, parking lot was full, cars parked blocks away . went in to register and asked about the parking for hotel guests, was told well things usually quiet down towards evening which was about 4 hours away as it was 2 PM asked where to park, well there is no parking. I cancelled out so they lost out on a $100 room and $90 seance fee. Was told by the woma I guess her name was Dawn well that’s the way it is. Having traveled around the world I don’t remember that attitude very much. Called my credit card company so this outfit gets nothing. The hotel is old, that’s for sure it smells, the so called restaurant is not clean, so BEWARE of this clip joint ask around before you waste your time.
