Very good deal in Boca

Served my purpose very well, which was to stay in Boca with my family. Located close to several restaurants, a Whole Foods and a movie theater. Breakfast choice is good. And check in and check out was quick and efficient. The staff was very nice, especially Christian at the front desk.

Pricey, but comfortable

Somewhat non-descript hotel right next to airport in Boca and near FAU. Pros - clean rooms and common areas, friendly staff Cons - PRICEY, less than average breakfast, run down amenities, TINY bathroom sink (no room for 2 people's toiletries), pretty noisy with I-95 on one side and airport on the other side If you want the convenience of being next to FAU, go for it, but this place is NOT really winning awards in the "bang for the buck" category, or a restful sleep.

The good, the great, the bad and the ugly

Some honest feedback and thoughts about this Marriot property in Boca. Stayed there for several months. There is a lot to like about this hotel: It is centrally located in Boca and wedged in between I95 and Boca Raton‘s small airport. The hotel is very clean, in my opinion, and it is obvious given how hard the staff are working. Always mopping common areas, elevators and keeping things fresh. The rooms are what to expect at a Fairfield. Nottingham more, nothing less. The TV‘s could use to be switched out to smart TV‘s but that is true about many other properties as well - not just this one. The breakfast is what’s to be expected at a Fairfield property, nothing more and nothing less. The real gem is the pool area that somehow manages to give the place a resort like vibe with some palm trees and a large pool with a separate spa. It should be pointed out that the maintenance of the pool is superb as it’s done daily making this one of the best cared for pool areas that we have seen. 10 points to the guy making sure it’s so clean. The problem with this hotel is the management and it has gotten increasingly worse over time resulting in the departure of some truly amazing staff. Some of this will likely not be an issue for someone staying for a few nights. It quickly becomes an issue over time. Gloria at the front desk will harass you and demand payments before checkout time for the following night regardless if the hotel was humming at 60% capacity. We can, in fact, not think of any person as uniquely ill fitted to work in the service industry. There were many guests that actually decided to leave the hotel and to go elsewhere based on Glorias manners clearly condoned by Deon.…

February trip

I just want to thank Jenny and Deon for another wonderful stay at the Fairfield Inn. The hotel always has great customer service. It's also great to be so close to FAU, restaurants and the ocean. Walking over to the movie theater, that's also on airport road, is really convenient.

Wonderful staff

The staff was excellent. Christian checked us in. He was very pleasant and professional and courteous. He made us feel very welcomed. The room was very nice. Breakfast was ok and the gentlemen that was replenishing the food was doing great even though he was the only one there. Also the afternoon front desk staff Jason was very nice. I definitely recommend the hotel and will be back to visit if I had the chance.
