We had an excellent stay here! We had to relocate when we lost power and this hotel really exceeded our expectations. I’m a clean freak and I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable. The accommodations were great. The staff was incredibly nice. The breakfast was better than I expected! It was truly a great experience and I think we will return when we get our floors refinished. The suite didn’t feel cramped with a toddler, hubby, and a dog. It turned a stressful week into a mini vacation. Didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool but maybe next time!

The hotel was extremely accommodating for someone in a wheelchair. The room was accessible via tile floors and the shower was easy to get in and out of including a shower bench and two showerheads with their own knobs. The door was a little heavy and hard to control but I would definitely stay here again!

My suite was clean, comfortable and spacious. The fully functional kitchenette with a full size refrigerator was a great feature. They seem to be very COVID safety conscious there. Everyone was wearing masks and I could see staff regularly disinfecting everything. Free hot breakfast and even free dinner was excellent. Would definitely stay again!

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel probably at least a dozen times over the past 5 or more years and would never consider anywhere else in the area. The rooms are always clean, comfy, and quiet. There are lots of stores and restaurants nearby that make it easy to pick up any necessities or just go out to eat if that’s what you want to do. The check-in/ check-out process can sometimes be a challenge, even when done using the Hilton app, but I overlook that glitch due to the other pluses. Free breakfast is good and coffee tea and hot water are available 24 hrs. Definitely recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Homewood Suites. So easy to get to your room with keyless entry. We had a suite with the bedroom separate from the living area. The room was so quiet. The breakfast brunch was a typical free breakfast, however, the servers who were taking care of it were so friendly and helpful. Had no problem with parking. You are close to restaurants, especially the Brandywine Diner. There is some shopping at the Concord Mall. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Homewood Suites Wilmington/Brandywine in Oct. 2024, and were given Room 128, which had a strong, strange, unrelenting smell. We had already unpacked, and tried spraying Febreeze all around but it didn’t help and we decided to ask for a different room. The front desk lady was super nice, and she let us change rooms. We were given a room on the 4th floor which was great — no smell at all. She said the maintenance staff would check it out. I’m just curious if they did and if they concluded what that particular smell was. I had wondered if it had something to do with sharing a wall with the electrical room next door. Anyway, don’t hesitate to stay here, just don’t get Room 128!

The rooms are cold. Cannot turn up the heat in your own unit past about 73 degrees. When coming jn from the cold it is nice to be able to warm your own room up to take the edge off. Disappointing.

Aside from this the front desk staff are kind and welcoming.

My husband and I visited the Brandywine Valley for a weekend getaway and we stayed at Homewood Suites. Even though we only stayed one night, we loved this hotel. It was impeccably clean, the rooms were well kept, spacious, the hotel is located in a quiet alcove away from busy streets, and the interior looked updated. We were very comfortable in our room and the value for money that you get for this hotel is great. Unfortunately we didn't get our fill of the Brandywine Valley during our short stay (there is so much to explore!), but luckily we know where we'll be staying the next time we return!

A great central location to visit gardens and historical sites in the area. The room was very spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. Small, but useable kitchenet with full size fridge and dishwasher. Complimentary breakfast and dinner (Monday-Thursday). Close to restaurants. Free parking and Wi-Fi. I stayed 3 nights. I felt safe.

My sisters and I had a reunion and stayed at the Homewood Suites Brandywine Valley. We totally enjoyed our stay being together, however, because of the superlative accommodations and friendly and knowledgable staff, it was "over the top" in relaxation, warmth, efficiency, cleanliness. Way to go!
