Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was our first time here. Stayed at others in Maryland and PA, they were nice too but I liked the way this one was set up the best. We stayed Friday and Saturday nights. Great place for my family to go. Nice people everywhere. Very busy place..was full. We had a premier cabin. It was plenty of room and well set up. People really go all out to make halloween great for the kids. Took our 4 and 5 year old to the haunted house. They were so scared I had to take them to the arcade after to help all of us forget how scary it was. Plenty of places a short drive away to go if you forgot anything or last min needs. Firewood at the camp store is same price as surrounding businesses. Maybe a little cheaper and burned just fine. Both nights people respected the quiet hours and our family slept just fine. Beds were comfy and I did not come home with any back or neck pains. We rented a golf cart and loved every sec of it. Weather couldn't of been any better. Friday was low 70 and at night low 50s. Sat got up to 75 and about 60 at night.. Perfectly clear sky each night. Rained pretty good during the previous week and place was nice and dry when we got there. Only reasons I don't give a 5 is because I would like to see a rangers retreat cabin..and possibly a coat rack lol..

Hello Kirk, We appreciate your positive feedback about your experience. Could you share more about what you mean by a "Ranger's Retreat" cabin? I'm not sure I know what that is. And a coat rack- Where would you like to see one of those placed? Hooks are quick and easy to install. I'd love to make the cabins more convenient for our guests. Please reach out and let us know!

Just spent a weekend at Jellystone and was not happy with the site. They make you leave by 11 am but check in is not till 3 pm. It's not like they are cleaning the sites. Our site was filthy. They have signs that you have to be 16 to drive a golf cart, not true! Pets must be on a leash at all times, again not true. Had a chiwawa chasing my dog (who was on a leash). Why put speed bumps in when they are positioned so the golf carts can scoot right between them. For 2 night it was 300.00. Seems rather high priced for what we got.

Our check in and out times are not inconsistent with established industry norms. Many campgrounds have stricter times! We do clean the sites during these hours, but as all humans do its possible we missed something. I hope you brought it to our attention so we could fix it. It is true that we don't permit under the age of 16 to drive our golf carts, and if they do we take them away. Again- It does happen sometimes, and we address it when it does. Same goes for Pets. we do require them to be on a leash at all times, but any dog owner can tell you that dogs can sometime get off leash. if we notice someone doing it intentionally or habitually, we will address that, too. The speed bumps are primarily there to keep Larger motor vehicles that capable of high speeds under control. we do notice that it slows the golf carts down as well, as they have to carefully navigate between them.

Our first time and last I am afraid. We checked out a day early, enough said. My kids were very disappointed. I did speak to management about our experience who said would have someone call me about my concerns. Still waiting for that call a week later.

A storm was expected for most of the weekend but upon arrival on the busy Friday, I was checked in quickly so I could set up before the rain. Unfortunately, rain happened, Friday, Saturday and most of Sunday until the evening. The park did have events for the holiday on Sunday evening with a DJ and dance party. Since it was just my husband and myself we didn’t take advantage of this. The store was nice but didn’t have a lot of things. Firewood was priced at a decent price for buying at a campground.

I found the sites to be large enough to accommodate my 38 ft TT with 3 slides with plenty of room. You will need 50 feet of water or even cable depending on where the post is located. We needed extra for water and cable (cable was out while there) but not sewer. Wifi was excellent strength and connected TV to wifi since there was no cable that weekend (it happens). We found plenty to do in the area. Visited a few breweries and obtained some to go local beers. Went to OCMD for a bit. There is not much right outside the campground but plenty within a 10 minute drive.

Golf carts, well they are ALL OVER! Since it was a holiday weekend, yes your traditional golf cart parade but did the same person have to drive around all day into the evening blasting his music? Eventually it became annoying. I still rated it 5 stars because it never went past quiet hours.

The standard back in full hook up sites do not offer shade. I would suggest a sun shelter for those hot days. Monday was gorgeous out not blistering hot but clear and finally no rain and the sun was quiet strong. Bring a pop up sun shelter!

We brought our grandson with our RV, space 69, which was perfect because we were easy walking or bicycle riding distance to all of the activities. He (and I) had a ball in the water park. He said it was the best water park ever. There were lots of staff around to make sure things were safe. Everything was clean and well maintained. There was a "Hey" ride for the kids once it got dark and the staff was very interactive with the kids. Store is well stocked. We will definitely be returning again and again. Well done, Jellystone!!

To start off…. My dad had booked a site at the front of the campground since he’s handicap… but since he didn’t “lock in” his site, we were moved. I can deal with that except they moved us to the completely opposite side of the park (literally the last spot in the farthest back corner). So, I asked for a golf cart rental and of course, they’re sold out. They don’t have enough golf carts for everyone in the park. I spoke with the woman at the front, explained my situation and the NEED for a golf cart. No apology given. She took down my number, said she’d look into it and give me a call soon… I never heard anything… now we have to spend the rest of the weekend driving our car back and forth just to use the bathroom. So, I’m not impressed with their customer service in the least bit or any type of follow-up. Needless to say my dad is very upset so, we won’t be staying here again nor recommend to others.

We encourage folks to lock in specific site numbers if they have special requests. Its always important to let us know if those special requests are for special needs such as your father. A call, email, or even a note on the reservation is a great way to let us know that a guest needs something above and beyond our normal reservation types. Without the lock in feature being used, we assume this means the guest has no preference or special needs and they only care about the type of site- which it sounds like we provided in this case. Not locking in the site allows up to maximize the space in our calendar to allow more guests to join us, especially on the busy holiday weekends such as this. Golf carts, like our sites, are limited in number. In our case we have over 50 of them to rent out, which is ordinarily enough to handle demand. Through cancellations and early returns we are often able to accommodate even those who either forget or choose not to make a reservation. We were able to accommodate a reservation with the same last name on this review today that was placed on our wait list on 5/27. I hope this was your family and you are currently enjoying your time here!

This is a well laid out campground with a lot of new things recently added. We spoke with the new GM who repositioned all the cabins to a more uniformed setup. It’s a very busy campground which is expected from a Jellystone. This was our first time staying here and I can see my family coming back to camp here.

I was a bit concerned after getting misinformation from the reservation people. I got a return call from the manager who answered my questions. Until I arrived I still was skeptical. The person who checked me in was polite and friendly. The sites are nice and very clean. The pool and splash zone are very nice. And despite my concerns about no cable my antenna pulls in over 30 digital channels

Hey! thanks for the review! If you wouldn't mind, could you reach out to that manager again (it was probably me!) and remind me what info was incorrect? Ill pass that along to my reservationists and make sure no one else is confused.

We stayed in Cabin #4 (a luxury cabin) from 6/27-7/2, with 5 ppl (3 adults and 2 kids). The cabin was great! It was clean and quite spacious and well kept in great condition. The pool was nice and the newly built kids water park was awesome! Our kids (2 and 12) both enjoyed it. The playground was also nice too. We were there weekdays, so the pool and water park were never crowded. The campground was very nice and not too crowded but we were there Sun-Fri. It was a pretty quick drive to the Delaware beaches and attractions. We were visiting from Buffalo NY and we will definitely be back!

We found Jellystone as locals earlier this year and thought it would be a nice close to home getaways and it has since become our favorite little spot. When my daughter decided she wanted a camping birthday, the staff made it happen! They offered a great birthday package and the coordination and communication from start to finish made the day epic for my family and all of our guests. We cannot wait to return and will not hesitate to book a party here in the future! Highly recommend
