I stayed at this finca in March of 2018 but I'm just getting around to writing a review. Our stay was absolutely enchanting and I would recommend this place to anyone! This family-run hotel is rustic but luxurious, in an inredibly serene remote landscape. I will carry forever the memories of vibrant flowers, chirping birds, cold rushing water, and delicious fresh fruit. The friendly couple who own the hotel are excited to share hands-on demonstrations of the local coffee production process on their working plantation, and the homemade meals are an underrated perk of staying here. We were there during the off season and essentially had the place to ourselves for most of our stay. I would truly recommend this place to anyone!

We stayed at Los Arrayanes with our two young daughters (almost 2 & 4 years old), and felt very welcome from the start. The family & staff that runs the finca is very hospitable and caring, going out of their way to make their guests feel at home. On their own initiative they for instance prepared extra dishes that our girls like to eat, picked fresh mandarins for them, and prepared tea with herbs from their own garden. It was also really nice to learn about coffee at a place where the beans grow, are harvested and processed. The great variety of plants, flowers, trees and animals is impressive and well taken care of. In the finca they've created several nice spots to be able to enjoy the place to the fullest, for instance by relaxing with your feet in the river, by admiring the butterfly garden, going for a swim in the nice pool, taking a nap in one of the hammocks, sitting in one of the shady areas, or by taking a short walk to the viewpoint up in the mountain. The cabin/room was basic but comfortable, with a nice hot shower, and it was great to have a terrace out front to sit in the shade. Highly recommended place!

My husband, three children and I stayed for two days this past December and it was an AMAZING experience! It is a peaceful, pristine retreat with beautiful nature and wonderful accommodations to make sure the stay is comfortable. Everything from the DELICIOUS meals they prepared, to the beautiful relaxing pool, the cabana with refreshments, to the extremely hospitable staff waiting to serve your every whim, it was an outstanding experience that my family and I will treasure forever. I will never forget on the day we were leaving, my 9 year old son woke at 6am (which he never does on his own lol) to run out the door and play like I remember doing when I was a little girl, but children these days never get to experience that sort of autonomy. An hour later I received a knock on the door- I opened to see the most beautiful sight ever...my son, completely sweaty and his clothes covered in dirt, with the biggest smile I've ever seen on his face and a glass of mandarin juice in his hand. He said, "Mommy, I climbed the mandarin tree and picked 7 mandarins, then I squeezed them to make this juice for you." That morning, the staff also served us scrambled eggs, which my son had collected from the hen's coupe just after he had prepared the juice. Night time bonfire, music and dancing, socializing with the other guests at the hotel, it was all just perfect. Lifelong memories that we will treasure forever! I would recommend to everyone to experience this place!

Highly recommended! The service, facilities and food are extraordinary. It’s a great way to learn about the coffee culture of Colombia. There’s a little museum and they give the guests a nice tour around the estate.

We spent two nights and almost three days. We were welcomed with cheerful hospitality...a coffee of course...and a tour of the grounds. So much to do...we did almost all: swam in pool and river and natural "shower massage." We played ping pong and read in the hammocks. We ate all the meals they offered...and more coffee. Did I mention the coffee tour. We also took a hike up the road each morning for 1-2 hours. The rooms are basic and comfortable. The shower has good pressure and is hot! We missed dancing in the bar at night...too tired! Happy to recommend.
