I see other people wrote this review, and yes the rooms smell very bad. It is a dirty place and the man who worked the front desk in the morning is extremely rude with ZERO people skills. Went there to look at near by towns to purchase a home. It advertises you can bring pets and children. I have no pets but I do have 3 young kids and yes they wake up early and yes they make a little noise but if that was a BIG concern for this guesthouse then IT SHOULD NOT BE ADVERTISED AS A PLACE FOR PEOPLE WITH PETS AND KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!! The man literally yelled at me because my kids were excited I got them donuts. I can see why the place is so cheap, it's the only way to have people book it because of the smell and poor management. Never again and I DO NOT recommend.

I am not certain how this motel has it's "very good" Trip Advisor rating because my experience over three nights places them with a "average to poor" rating. Externally, the motel shows wear and is quite dated but there are some flowers planted here an there. Plenty of parking. Picnic area in the back. Convenient location on the Post Road. Restaurant across the street. Upon arrival, I received a very warm and friendly greeting from the manager on duty. I had requested an accessible room and was put near the office in #104. First I will note the positives: Bed was fairly comfortable, shower water was hot and had great water pressure. The shower curtain is on one of those arched (or bent) frames so it makes the shower feel larger. The wash cloths and tissues were displayed in a decorative way (see photos). WiFi worked well. In-room coffee was good and stoneware cups were provided. Door had a deadbolt and chain (I always appreciated multiple ways to lock a door, especially when it leads directly outside.) Room amenities are traditional and as one expects these days: large TV, microwave, fridge, hangers, iron and board. I appreciated that the TV remove was in a plastic bag. Air conditioner worked well but was a bit loud. I believe there is probably fairly new carpet on the floor. Not knowing this motel's cleaning practices, I wiped down all hard surfaces with a disinfecting cloth. This is when I noticed a few things: there were four task lights in the room, two of which were not plugged in (this is not a huge deal but it does go to prepping a room for a guest, a detail on a checklist that was missed); a chicken bone was found on the floor in the closet area; three hairs were found stuck to the wall in the bathroom (not even sure how that happens); several crumpled tissues were found in the ice bucket; what looks like mold on top of caulking along the top of the shower enclosure and around the sink. I have shared all these items I noticed in both a note to management and because no one was in the office when I checked out, I called and related this to them in a phone call. It is my contention that even at a budget motel, the room can be clean. Other items of note: walls and ceiling are reasonably thin so external conversations and people walking overhead can be heard. The motel has a quiet time overnight with a sign posted in the office noting this which is nice. There is an ice machine on the property. Note that per COVID: the staff was not wearing masks and they are not serving breakfast. There is lots of room for improvement here. I believe that the property owner(s) can easily upgrade this property if they want to and in doing so, it could be a very good budget motel. Right now, it is not that. For now, I'm going to say that I would not stay here again. For anyone else, you will need to make that decision for yourself.

I called on Friday afternoon to ask that something be left in my son’s room on Sunday night. He was proposing that afternoon and I wanted them to have something for a celebration. Jackie do not disappoint !!

My stay was a delightful stay the Room was very clean and up to date and spacious. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. I was relaxing on the patio in back and could hear the bull frogs. I also liked the fact that everything I needed was near by with plenty of options for food including the Himalaya next door they had great Indian cuisine. And plenty of sea food restaurants near by. Not to mention the beaches. I would definitely stay hear again and suggest my friends do too. And I'd also like to point out how friendly the staff were it's nice to see friendly smiles.

Booked for 4 nights as accommodation was dog friendly. Accepted the fact that there was no breakfast due to "Covid" . Was shocked to hear there was no "House Keeping" . At a time when businesses are making adjustments to maintain customers and sanitize, I was shocked that no effort was made to attend to our room during a 4 day stay. Frankly, I think the owner was a "Covid Opportunist". I am a nurse and have worn PPE since last March. Do you seriously expect me to believe that they cannot gown up and offer what is the minimum of service to paying guests at a time when the country is opening up again?

Dear Bernadetter, First, thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. There seems to be a very big misunderstanding as we do offer housekeeping. *All front desk clerks are advised to inform guests to let front desk know when they need service. Our goal is to serve our guests genuinely and positively. We apologize that your expectations were not met during your stay with us.
