We spent two night here with our grandchildren while visiting the area. We originally planned to stay in Glenwood Springs, however this was a much better value and the drive is right up I-70 and goes quickly.
The location is right off I-70 with several restaurants and Walmart within a few blocks. Checkin was easy and the manger was very peronable and friendly.
The hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable. The room was large and clean and we slept well. My grandchildren loved the pool and used it each evening. Breakfast was decent, with changing selections and a good variety.
The area is a little run down but it didn't bother us at all. We'd gladly stay here again.

The pool is CLOSED and doesn’t appear to be opening any time soon. Fitness center access is through the pool door. Ask on check in for specifics of using it.
Quiet restful night. Firm beds, 4 small adequate pillows, typical hotel towels, tub that drained. Got good rest.
Breakfast had many offerings powdered egg, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles, a variety of bread selections, cereals cold and hot and fresh fruit.
Checked in by a very efficient, friendly and accommodating desk clerk. Sorry didn’t get her name.

I’m so glad we chose this one instead of the place that was $25 less, because this was an excellent stay. The young man at the front desk was a total delight- friendly, funny and efficient. That alone made this a very pleasant stay.
The king room is clean and spacious, (it did slightly smell of smoke when we first entered it though, but we got used to it) with a fridge, mic, coffee maker and closet. The water is HOT, something fairly rare in hotels/motels today. The bed’s a bit firm but very comfy.
The free breakfast is filling and offers a variety of proteins instead of the “gluten and sugar feasts” you find at most free hotel breakfasts.
I highly recommend this hotel!

Ok hotel. Room clean and maybe updated bathrooms??? Carpet in room had a stain and the hotel could definitely use new common area carpet replacement. Elevator made a weird grinding noise on third floor do take stairs! Cleaning staff very very pleasant and assisted us getting into our room as the key would not work ever! We are light sleepers.and appreciated how silent our room was all night long. We also appreciated the many hot and cold choices for breakfast still available at 8:00 am. The room was very

Before I made reservations at this hotel, I called this location to make sure the pools were open. I was told they were only to find out all the pools are completely drained after arriving on June 10. I spoke with another visitor that informed me they have experienced the same problem in the past at this location.
When I am on vacation, I expect to know the truth of what is or is not open. Lately on most of the trips I take to visit various properties in the Choice Hotels line over many years of travel, I have found continuous problems with pools ranging from cold water, filthy pools and decks, or just closed pools altogether. It is very discouraging and this needs to be corrected. I don’t take trips to be miserable but to relax after many hours of driving.

Bad experience. Check-in person was very nice but wearing her mask below her nose. Was hair in bathtub and coffee maker was not cleaned from previous use. Made us wonder how thoroughly was this room sanitized. Room AC unit would not go below below 75 and made a loud noise when compressor shut off. Warm and stuffy. We were moved to new room but it was not clean either. Toilet had been used after room was cleaned but not flushed. Who is using rooms after they are cleaned? With Covid, that is a big worry. In morning, 2-4 employees in desk area talking as we loaded car; they were not wearing masks. They were nice people, but obviously inconsiderate of guests' health concerns. Whole experience left us stressed as this hotel appears not to be taking the Covid threat seriously. We have to stop in this town multiple times a year. Will not stay here again, at least until Covid threat greatly reduced.

The hotel is old and rather run down but was OK for one night. The area around the hotel has an industrial parking lot feel to it. Although the staff were friendly, I didn't like the fact that the coffee in the lobby area is hidden and in the dark and the lady at reception had to explain to me where it was and turn on the light. I was told there had not been decaf in-room coffee for months (I understand there are supply chain issues but other hotels have it: why can't you?). The variety of food for breakfast was poor IMO. In my experience are better options in Rifle if you are willing to pay a bit more or go with a small, non-chain motel.

Tamara at the Front Desk was Great!! Very helpful, friendly & knowledgeable. She provided exemplary guest service, even with the A/C being down in the lobby area!! Our room was very clean & comfortable. However, the hotel is showing that an update is needed very soon. The breakfast had a good variety of items, possibly add more items for Gluten Free guests.

Comfort Inns are pretty basic, but this one stood above others for me. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and my room was spotless. I also spaced out and left my toiletry bag in the bathroom when I checked out, and they promptly called to say they had it, and sent it right out. I received it 2 days later. And, as I mentioned in the title, I thought the bed was really comfortable and was kind of sad to leave it. The only complaint I have is that the coffee was undrinkable, but there is a Dunkin' Donuts right down the street with good coffee, so it wasn't a big deal.

Very close, the only slightly confusing thing for me were the turnabouts. 7th Street South is the first right exit so I missed it the first time. The hotel is not immediately visible from the freeway. It is next to the Kum & Go, makes it convenient for gas and ice.
The toilets are elongated and there are mini fridges in the rooms.
