Loved it, absolute hidden gem. Our room was spectacular, loved the theme our room had, which was a wizard theme. There was a bunch of fantasy movies, Harry potter props around the room that really added to the vibe. Although our room was a little bit on the smaller side, it made up for it in it's charm

We celebrated my wife's 40th birthday with a long weekend here. We booked 4 rooms for 4 couples and surprised her. She was under the impression that it was just us and then friends came out of the woodwork ;). We stayed in Tombstone and the other couples had Area 51, the Iceberg Lounge, and Jurassic Pok. Tombstone is huge and served as our hub for after dinner drinks and games which really made the trip awesome not to be crammed into a single regular hotel room to hang out. We made day trips to Glenwood and the surroundings and then spent the evenings at the inn. John and Cory were just great folks and joined us for beverages on our last night there. The only thing I would have changed is what I packed for food. I'm hoping we can start making this an annual stay!

Very cool place with lots of room. Bathroom is very large and worked out well. Great location in town. Lots of amenities included. First floor room had easy access without a lot of steps. Much quieter than Anticipated as Main street can be busy certain times of day. Would definitely return.

We stayed in the Jurassic-Pok room. It was kind of cute with all the video game decorations and our kids loved the Nintendo game set up. I felt like I was staying in a college bachelor pad a little. Quite a few things about the place that were janky (ie. The AC units held together with push pins). The kitchen had the basic (and I mean very very basic) supplies for cooking but bring all your own pantry supplies and better knives.
We were also very disappointed that the gaming table in the center of the kitchen (the centerpiece of the unit and what was advertised) was not free and required quarters. Honestly, if I were the owner I would at least put out a jar of quarters for your renters to use (I mean you get them back anyway). So that was lame! I guess it was an okay place to stay and the owner was very responsive whenever we had questions.

I'm here now, after having rearranged part of my road trip to stay in this totally cute themed airbnb that I thought my teens would love. I seriously spent extra money to stay at The Delaware Hotel (in Leadville) on a weekend, just to stay here for a night (since it was only open for this room on Sunday). I loved the Delaware Hotel, btw, but this was a disaster. First of all, they advertise that you can have two extra twin beds. Perfect for a family with 3 teens who don't want to share a bed! Except they don't mention there is no room for these beds in living room (which barely fits the pull out), so one bed is currently in the kitchen with a red blind (for the theme) and one is in the main bedroom. This is not convenient and could have been mentioned in the ad. When I asked about the red light streaming in through the blinds in the kitchen, the owners' suggestion was to have my teenager sleep with a towel on their face! She claims her husband does this and finds it's very comfortable... I honestly didn't need this level of detail, and I can't make this stuff up. Even more important, the two reasons I booked this place (other than that I hoped to comfortably sleep my family of 5) was the video arcade advertised as the kitchen table and the historic inn. Well, apparently the inn is closed for dinner Sunday night, and breakfast for Monday morning, and there is no other lobby, so all we get is a view of the outdoor staircase you climb up the back of the building to access the apartments above the restaurant. Not much of a history tour, though we do get to see the dumpsters on our way in and out. And then it turns out that you need QUARTERS for the video arcade! So much for an hour of my kids playing... I didn't happen to bring hundreds of quarters, and I have stayed at other airbnbs where this is an advertised perk, and guess what? If they don't mention you have to pay for it, and advertise based on it, it's included and it's free.

When I explained all of these disappointments and problems to the owner over the phone upon my arrival, her solution was the towel over your face (see above). Or I could leave - though they wouldn't refund the one night's stay. Not only did she refuse to offer a discount (or some quarters for games), but she threatened me that they have my credit card on file, and they can charge me more if anything is wrong. Nothing will be wrong with the place, since we are super responsible people who have stayed at dozens of places (see my other TripAdvisor, Airbnb, and VRBO reviews - I also try not to put up bad reviews of people who demonstrate care for their guests, even if the pictures or the ad are sometimes misleading). Corey Webber, the owner, also said point blank that she has no interest in helping me, since "the place is always booked anyway." I'm going to try and get back to my vacation, but if you want to stay in a place with people you can trust (esp. when you give them your credit card), I would avoid staying here. I love people who pour their heart into restoration projects... and I respect what they are doing. But that needs to include caring about your guests if you want to run a successful inn.

We enjoyed a night in the Tombstone Suite last week. What a treat! It sleeps 8. There's a full kitchen and dining table, with a beautiful set of antique China. The living room is complete with two sofas, a flat screen TV with cable and Atari with 200 games, cowboy movies to watch and a retro TV/Stereo combo with albums that you can play. The bathroom is large and modern with a big walk-in shower and nice toiletries. The bedroom is a nice size with a large closet that houses two roll-away beds. Loved the Doc Holliday theme throughout. The inn is just above Elk Creek Mining Co., where you’ll save 10% while you’re staying at the inn.

We stayed in the tombstone room for one night while we went to Glenwood Springs activities. The room is an easy 10 minute drive from Glenwood. Check in was easy with a keypad. The suite is huge with a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Everything was clean and air conditioning was running. There were no free arcade games, but there were board games and television, if you are coming to hang out in the suite. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The price was very reasonable for what it was and hands down better than a hotel stay any day.

Enjoyed our 3-night stay in the large Tombstone room. Very spacious. Everything you need including frig, stove, etc. Front room noisy from main street but back bedroom quiet. Steps mean this may NOT be a good choice for handicapped, young children or weak seniors. It's a hike, especially if you are not used to the altitude. Convenient location on main street and we would stay again if we are ready for the 26 stairs.

My family and I stayed in the Tombstone room and it was absolutely amazing!! The room was more like an apartment with plenty of room for everyone to spread out! The kids had a great time with all the extras that were included specifically for them! Kitchen is included if you want to cook but the restaurant downstairs, Elk Creek Mining Company, is fantastic!! Loved it and will stay again soon!

The room Winterfell was beautiful! Modeled after GOT but it has its own comfy winter feel. Has an amazing view of main street and has games to enjoy with whoever you're staying with! Has a kitchen too so you can cook or you can eat downstairs at Elk Creek! Best small town experience.
