This hotel is not like all other HIX hotels. Not as pictured. In old historic downtown. Easy access to Hwy 24 and Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. This hotel is narrow with only 63 total rooms. It has open and covered parking spaces. All parking is lower level (LL). Have to take elevator to 1st floor and hotel lobby and registration. Total 3 floors. Breakfast area on 1st floor. BK is open 6:30 - 9:30 am daily. Excellent hot and cold breakfast items. Has an indoor heated pool and spa on 1st floor. Also fitness area on 1st floor. Laundry on 1st floor also $3.50 to wash and $3.50 to dry. Only 1 washer and 1 dryer. We has 2 queen bed suite and very large even though one of the smaller suites. Bathrooms have bathtubs. Only walk-in showers in handicapped rooms. Love the Dove bath products in the bathroom. Highly recommend this hotel. No problems or issues.

Very new and very clean. Great location for visiting Manitou Springs or Garden of Gods. Very friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again. Not sure about the bad review but it’s a great place. Breakfast was typical for Holiday Inn which is good.

When we were planning a trip to the Manitou Springs ares, I quickly discovered that the bulk of the lodging in this area was kitschy hotels that have been in this tourist destination for decades. While some folks might enjoy that, it really isn’t our style, so I was very happy to find this hotel.

When I made the reservation, this brand new hotel hadn’t even opened yet, so I called ahead of our stay to make sure that they were actually open for business and was glad to get the confirmation that they were. When we arrived, just a few weeks after their opening, you could sense the newness. Everything in the common areas and our room looked fresh and contemporary, although a bit stark. Our room was smartly designed with a cozy bed, comfortable desk chair and a logical place to put your luggage integrated into the furniture (as opposed to the same tired racks that hotels have been using for decades). All of the staff members we interacted with very friendly and polite, which added to the enjoyment of our stay.

While we were only here for one night, I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re spending time in Manitou Springs.

All in all this was a good hotel for our family. We only stayed one night. The man at the front desk was very soft spoken, but very nice when I checked in. If you’re looking for a location that’s close to downtown manitou, this isn’t the hotel for you. It’s about a 5 minute drive to the shops. If you’re looking for a quiet, newer hotel with excellent beds, this is the right spot. The pool was nice and clear and the pool room feels like a sauna. The hot tub jets were not working while we were there. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious, and the shower was awesome. We’d definitely choose this location again.

Check in was smooth and very friendly and welcoming. Overall very clean and pleasant in lobby and room; clean smell; room nice with great shower; no drinking glasses in room; water empty in fitness center; coffee in room did not taste good (bitter) but coffee in breakfast area was better; breakfast selection slim; we waited 20 minutes minimum for eggs and another hotel resident told me they told her that 'they're coming soon!' I loved the little tangerines though and that was good because I didn't know if any of the juices were 100% juice or other, so I did not go the juice route. I'd recommend this place if they'd improve the above but fitness center amenities and breakfast are two major criteria for us when deciding on where to stay.

Stayed 2 days at this location to visit Pike’s Peak and Garden of Gods. Property is fairly new and location is good but front desk staff, especially at night is horrible. The one front desk staff member is very ill-equipped to handle even the most basic requests such as check in and getting extra towels. He is the only employee in the property. I was told our room would be cleaned after our first night but it never was. I tried to have the front desk remedy that and other issues but decided it was a worthless cause.

Stayed here in the "off-season" to explore this gateway town to Pike's Peak. Room was spotless, hotel very quiet, beds in great shape, and free breakfast as expected in this class of hotels. We had a mountain view room on the third floor and the view of Pike's Peak in the morning was great! Not sure what the experience would be like in peak tourist season, but we had a great stay.

This is a brand new hotel. The carpets still smell new. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and crisp. We thought the lighting in the rooms was incredible. It was very easy to out on your makeup. The shower was large. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. There is no hotel shuttle to Pike’s Peak (I read that there was) but there is a free town shuttle that you can use which has a stop at the hotel next door. The location wasn’t great. It is about 5 minutes from the quaint part of town and diagonally across the street is a boarded up hotel.

Newer hotel with 3 stories. Some covered parking which was nice in August. Easy check-in. I thought the rooms were a little on the pricey side. Our room was clean, no cleaning service while you stayed unless you specifically asked for it. We had no issues with that. We started to run out of TP and they easily gave us another roll. There isn't a clock in the room, which I found very strange. We did finally notice the microwave had one so that was nice. We enjoyed the free breakfast. Scrambled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, cinnamon rolls (My favorite). Pancake machine was broken while we were there. You are farther away from downtown Manitou at this hotel, but it's just about a 5 minute drive to get there. We had easy access for everything we did while we were in town - 7 Falls, and the Incline. It was a short stay and if I'm ever back in the area again I would stay here. Staff was very friendly.

Comfortable, cleans rooms. Our room was quiet on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was yummy. Cinnamon rolls, pancakes, eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy. Yogurt, bagels & muffins. Juices, coffee & milk. Like the parking garage entrance. Easy check in and out.
