We stayed here over the weekend for a large, last minute family gathering. From the very beginning, from organizing to adapting, the staff at the Clarion were so accommodating. The rooms were exceptionally clean (always a priority of mine) and comfortable. The manager, Tracey, took the time to help us get everything organized and even helped up find an additional meeting space after we got there. Mikayla at the front desk was helpful during check-in helping us to facilitate room assignments near each other. And Glenda kept the breakfast area nice and clean every day. There was always a variety of choices for all of the dietary needs of our large family.

There was a power outage in the area, but the hotel generator had plenty of lighting so we were not left completely in the dark. There was even enough light in the atrium that we did not notice when the power came back on at first. The staff was circulating the hotel keeping guests informed on the status of the outage and asking if we needed anything to make us more comfortable.

The atrium gathering area was great for our family to congregate in so we were not all trying to cram in each other's rooms. There were plenty of seating areas for various groups to visit in.

Overall, we had a great visit and will be staying here again if we are ever back in Junction!

We have stayed here many times without incident. November 2020 was a different experience. We prepaid directly through their Choice Hotel website. 1 night all prepaid. Upon leaving the hotel they charged our credit card an early leaving charge of $33. They returned $17 of that charge. We have this charge contested with American Express. This stay was quite the experience. We booked a non smoking room and walked into a disgusting smoked in room smell. But, We were able to fix this ourselves. We carry a UVC Light for added sanitation protection during the covid era. We set up the light and set the timer for 60 minutes and went to dinner at the Texas Roadhouse. We came back to the Ozone smell from the result of the UVc Light. The breakfast at this hotel during the Covid era has been decent. They offer decent size Commercial made egg burritos, Sausage pancake on a stick(corn dog like), various yogurts, packaged pastries, Juices, milks, and other things I know I'm missing. They offer more than most hotels for breakfast. We have been very happy with this hotel until the last stay. I would not have posted this posting on the negative side if they would have fixed the issue. But, they have ignored us. We have provided proof of our full payment for 1 night and it has been ignored. I will not return to this hotel because of this billing practice. The hotel is under construction and did not bother me. BEWARE of their Billing Practices.

We chose this hotel because of its location and its good pricing. Due to Covid we had to be careful where we stayed and on our recent trip to Grand Junction Clarion Inn appeared to be comfortable. We were a assigned a room on the ground level. Room was spacious and quiet but the bathroom was getting tired looking. The ceiling fixtures required paint touchup and the hinges of the bathroom door creaked badly. The lodge still offered buffet spread of frozen or chilled burgers burritos and muffins with good selection of yogurt and fruits. It was good to see sanitizer dispensers at the entry doors to the rooms and breakfast room.

First off....no it's not the Ritz and when you pull up, it looks dated but we were pleasantly surprised overall. It's much nicer inside that the older exterior design belies. The rooms were decent size, the beds were comfortable and the room rates were excellent for the amenities provided....indoor and outdoor (under construction) pool and jacuzzi's, pool tables, video game area, business center and actually very decent breakfast options during this COVID mess. The only negative for our group is the hotel is pretty big and they had a total of TWO washers and dryers for everybody to share. Kind of crazy.

For those of you in town to mountain bike, they are totally okay with you bringing your bikes into the rooms for security.

If you look at a map, it seems like the hotel is kind of secluded but in reality, it's only 10 minutes to downtown and the immediate area has numerous food options. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on a future trip. One last tidbit that shocked me is we checked out a day early but AFTER the standard check out time and they still refunded me for the night we didn't stay. That was a welcome and very appreciated surprise. Kudos to the hotel!!

The room rate was so low (January) we were a bit concerned what we would find.
NOT TO WORRY!
This is quite a large complex and the rooms were really nice.
The whole place was in great condition.
Our inside room had sliding doors onto the inside pool area as well as to the corridor.
Breakfast was really good too.
WiFi worked great.
They were doing construction work on the north end of the complex but that had virtually no effect on our visit.

Highly recommend.

I’ll start with all the positives. It was very clean, had comfortable beds, hot tub and pool great and perfect temperature. Helpful staff (even with changing dates). Only downside is very thin walls! I was awake all night with hearing doors slamming, people walking in the hallway, car alarm going off and the neighbors next door talking until 3 am. I had a long day of driving ahead and wanted sleep but felt bad complaining about people talking (you shouldn’t have to whisper in your room). I turned on the hotel fan but not loud enough to drown out the noise. If you stay here bring your own fan and/or earplugs.

The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful, both at the front desk and at the breakfast. Not so good were a rundown location in a gas station parking lot with multiple large trucks parked overnight, presumably by hotel guests but perhaps not. As another reviewer stated, it seems to have come out of the 60s, with the shabby indoor pool, cloudy glass walls, somewhat renovated rooms but very old and worn stair carpet. By the way, apparently no elevator. Some rooms look out into the atrium and indoor pool - unpleasant. When we arrived in the afternoon the lobby was full of people wearing work clothes and road construction vests who appeared to be checking out and who then boarded a hotel bus. At the room next to ours a woman walked in with a dog and announced that he was relieving himself in the hallway! The breakfast was barely adequate with the standard scrambled eggs (extremely dry), some meats, packets of instant oatmeal, unremarkable bread and bagels, decent blueberry muffins. We were required to produce paper vouchers (given to us at front desk registration) to eat breakfast - I’ve stayed in lots of Hampton Inns and other similar hotels without such restriction, making me wonder what caused this to be necessary. All in all, I’d look for another place to stay.

The people were the best part of our stay, everyone was so kind and helpful. I have absolutely no complaints about anything. The hotel was beautiful, our room was clean and attractive, they have a beautiful pool and pool tables, breakfast was abundant and delicious. And, especially important for those with pets, they are very pet friendly and have a courtyard to walk your pets away from the parking lot and traffic. Very important for me as we have an older pet who has to be walked in the middle of the night, I felt very safe. I was waiting for someone coming from a hospital visit and they were very accommodating, easing my stress immensely. This hotel has now become my "go-to" place in Grand Junction.

Stayed at the Clarion Hotel with a friend. Stay for three nights. Place was very clean and staff were fantastic. Ate breakfast at the hotel and the breakfast was wonderful. The two ladies who took care of the breakfast kept everything impeccable , food was great, and hot coffee was hot. Very friendly. I would highly recommend it for anyone. Thank you

Our family of 6 stayed here on June 28, 2020. We were given connecting rooms and had plenty of space. The hotel was very clean. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools, which were a good size for a hotel pool but still somewhat crowded. Despite limitations due to coronavirus, the breakfast provided was the best of our whole trip, including breakfast sandwiches, fruit, yogurt, and pastry. I would stay here again. The staff was very friendly.

I don't know about a continental breakfast, per se, but they have a pretty sizable breakfast buffet area with far more offerings available than virtually all of their competitors.

Not as far as I know. The Harley Dealer is about a mile away, perhaps you could park there and they could take you to the Clarion. The La Quinta and Holiday Inn are next to the Harley dealer.

I am 99% sure that there is no pet fee at this hotel. The hotel markets itself as a pet-friendly hotel and I don't recall seeing any surcharge fees for pets in hotel literature.
