Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Staff were very nice but rooms could be a bit cleaner. Had ants in the room. Staff were not doing daily housekeeping due to COVID, but agreed to a quick vacuum and left bug spray. Outside pool was not temperature controlled, but seemed to be well kept. Had to get a room key re-coded twice. Breakfast was fine (yogurt, fruit, muffins with juice/coffee).

Property seems dated, the floor in my room was not level causing a trip hazard. The room key did not function every time I tried to get into my room. It had to be reprogrammed and I was shown the "trick" to make it work. I had small ants wandering around in the bathroom area. Dogs in adjoining rooms barked nonstop during the day fortunately they stopped during the night. There was no Breakfast offered, That was not reveled to me when I made the reservation on line.

The establishment is situated right the main road containing almost all the lodging for travellers. The interstate is less than a mile away, which makes getting around very easy. The rooms are well insulated, making a peaceful night's sleep very easy.

For $200 a night, we would not have expected to have to request room service. Rooms were filthy, outdated. What the website advertises is continental and hot breakfast options, they even include a picture. Well, that is not the case at all. The staff preselects and bags mini muffins, an apple and yogurt and hands it to you in the lobby every morning. Keycard failed to work everyday upon our return. When room service was requested, cleaning was not done. Beds were made and towels/coffee replenished but the bathroom floor were obviously not mopped as the same random tissue particles remained on the floor throughout our stay. Alarm clock did not work, fridge was unplugged and took forever to cool down once plugged back in. Would not recommend this property to anyone! Had there been any vacancies at any other hotel in the city, we would have changed our reservations.

My room wasn't perfect. I couldn't get the room key to work, and the TV gave nothing but confusing error messages. But the helpful and friendly desk person fixed everything patiently with a smile. After that I enjoyed a good variety of TV channels and the comfortable room with all the facilities you'd expect in a budget motel. Next morning I was headed to the train station and they gave me a ride, although that's not listed as a service. I saw other guests get the same kind of friendly service from staffers who would go an extra step to be helpful. The free breakfast was tasty with pancakes, waffles, and sausages along with other offerings. There's a Denny's across the parking lot where you can take out dinner if you'd like, and many other restaurants a short walk away. If you're staying between Thursday and Saturday, the bus route to downtown Grand Junction is free.

I am an ex Hotel manager of a Comfort Inn. I have been to many hotels, both professional and personal. The staff at this hotel and the management really go out of their way to provide the best experience a guest can have. The housekeeping staff, let me say that I have stayed at very upscale hotels, and found this place to be cleaner, and with Covid-19, they have adapted to these tough times to bring a sense of caring for the guest. That being said, I hope you get a chance to stay here and experience the wonderful stay we had while staying at this wonderful establishment.

Needed a place to stay on a drive across the country. Pre paid for the room on a third party site. If it wasn’t prepaid I would have left. There were dead bugs on the floor and a live bug on the bed. Counters weren’t very clean. The free coffee/tea was previously wet and stained the tea package. Chose not to have breakfast on site after seeing this. Thankfully Dennys is across the street.

Don't waste you money here, this place is terrible. We could hear the people in the next room fight all night and it sounded like they were in our room. The Internet would not come up at all and the TV remote did not work. If this is a WYNDHAM hotel it is one of there worst.

We booked this motel for one night for May 12. We arrived at 4pm and I went to the office for check-in. Our assigned room was at the rear of the property and when driving through the parking lot we noted a few people just hanging out in their vehicles making it seem very sketchy. There was broken furniture laying next to the dumpster. When we opened the door to the room there was a half full bottle of water and crumpled tissues (or something like that) on the counter. My husband took a picture of it and we drove back to the office and told them we were not satisfied with the room or the property in general and wanted to check out. I was assured we would not be charged. HA! My card was charged and I had to dispute with my credit card company and today I was notified that I won the dispute. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE heed the warnings you have been given here, the descriptions are spot on.

the rooms smell strongly of cigarettes. shady individuals go between smoking outside and yelling in their rooms. i had to check on my car numerous times throughout the night.

just stay somewhere else, this place is not worth the stress or anxiety (and you deserve a clean room)

They are very nice and extremely accommodating. I would say that if possible at all they would be more than willing to help. It might be different if the hotel is expected to fill up that night though.

The motel is 2.4 miles from the Rockies stadium. I called them and they do not have roll away beds at this time, but hope to get some in the near future. They had went through an owner change before we personally stayed there. But the property is clean and nice. Affordably priced too. Hope this helos
